Review 1：The reception was not really friendly, would expect more friendliness in Bahia. Dirt in garden (cigarettes, papers in the grass) and cockroaches in the house. Standing water after rain/ watering in the garden is causing also some unpleasant smell. Left over furnitures, contraction rests and kind of trash near the reception and the parking place.

Review 2：Good location. There are some good restaurants near by on the street, (mostly part of other hotels)Otherwise the center of Arraial d'Ajuda is about 5 mins with car. Good food for breakfast and for daytime (finger food) Nice beachfront to take a walk or enjoy the see. Nice pool area.

Review 3：Wish office staff had somebody who can speak English. We managed with lots of hand gestures and mixed Spanish and limited Portuguese.

Review 5：The place looks not well mantained.They offer kayaks (there is only one and the blades are broken), flatable boats are useless), scarce beach chairs with broken matresses, teared umbrellas. Food delays up to 1 hour. Hot water delays 15 min. There is not enough room in the breakfast place to hold all guests, therefore we bother each other while taking breakfast. Not drinkable water available, so you have to pay for it. Rooms are smaller than they appear on the pictures.

Review 6：Location was very good on a not overcrowded beach, well comunicated. Tasty cooking althought the kitchen was not quite clean. Nice yard.

Review 7：We enjoyed our stay at Arraial Praia Hotel Pousada. It is located on a nice quiet beach in Arraial d'Ajuda. The hotel is very easy to get to from Porto Seguro airport (by taxi/bus and ferry). Our room was spacious, clean and nice, however it didn't have a hammock we expected according to the photos on booking.com. The staff was nice, but none of them spoke English except for Dirk, the owner, who was visiting the hotel when we were there (he is from Holland and he spends most of the time in his home country, so we were lucky to actually stay in the hotel when he was also in Arraial). Otherwise, it was pretty hard to talk and get any information/advise from the hotel staff with little Portuguese we spoke. Breakfasts in the hotel were good, restaurant food was not impressive, but decent. Overall, we very much liked the pousada and would definitely stay there again!
