Review 1：The wifi dropped off every 5 minutes. But mostly, being backpackers we felt the hotel didn't give us their best treatment. When we arrived the security jumped on us to enquire about a reservation, it felt like they were judging us all the time, when as a matter of fact we paid just as much as everyone else. They even "reminded us" we had to check out even though we still had hours to go and wanted to enjoy the pool. It would be great if they were less concerned about our backpacks and more focused on giving us a great (paid for) stay.

Review 2：The room was comfortable, the shower was great (not easy to find hot water in Colombia!) and the breakfast was complete. There's a really nice pool area.

Review 5：Wifi was poor in room. Map of hotel location is incorrect by about by a good 3 blocks - just what you need after a long drive! Told the staff but notice it still hasn't changed on the website.

Review 6：The hotel did exactly what we wanted, a convenient, comfortable overnight stay. Meal was good as was breakfast. Shower was good. Catedral Metropolitana María Reina de Barranquilla was spectacularinside and Museo de Caribe was good if very difficult to get to and all in Spanish.

Review 7：The information given online is very misleading when it comes to the facilities and the comfort of the rooms. They claim to be a 5-star hotel, but it is not true. I was moved from room to room three times because of the air conditioner not working, leaking, not cooling, etc., or the horror of the mattress quality of disconfort, or the bathroom being too small. Also, they claim to have hot water. I was told that it was going to be fixed by the morning, but I came to find out that it hadn't been working for months. Please believe me when I say this: I just stayed there three days ago, and the discomfort and heat of the rooms, lobby area, and elevators brought me to tears. I cannot be more honest, and if someone books this hotel after reading this review must have very low standards and likes being extremely uncomfortable and hot all the time. Worst hotel experience of my life. It is the friendliness of the staff what keeps that hotel running. Very old central air conditioning units. They'd better fix it and fast!!!!!

Review 8：The customer service quality is beyond anything I have ever experienced from hotel staff. Kudos to Rosa 1, Rosa 2, Diana, Mily, Lorena, Johanna, and Margarita. Excellence in staff, hands down!

Review 48：That a glass door in the business center suddenly blew up in my face; staff was not trained to handle a crisis of a guest bleeding in the reception area to immediately get an ambulance, and the argument with the ambulance staff about who will pay for transport to the ER. Similarly, asking the guest for insurance at the ER for payment. No compensation was offered for personal damages or acknowledging responsibility (for the blow up) to the guest left with stitches and scar and on its own to have stitches removed after 10 days. In the USA, a lawsuit would have imminent.

Review 50：The hotel doesn't deserve to have 5 stars: - the internet signal was really bad. - the pool area had many tiles pieces missing. - the pool is lacated in the first floor and at some point of the day the sun is covered by the building itself. - there is only one elevator and we were on the 5th floor and sometimes took really long to het down or up. - there were to many events going on during our stay (close to christmas), but the problem is that we could here the noise and music.
