Reviews for Princess and the Pea B&B

Review 1:This may be my issue. I had the presumption it was a full B&B but it really wasn't clear if it was or wasn't. I guess there's changes in progress. Fortunately Wally and Sharon are so casual and easy to talk with they warmly provided me quality green tea and fresh toast and amazing jams. Thank You...

Review 2:The enchanting warm environment. Wally and Sharon recognize a person's sense of comfort and seem to have the natural instinct to match and provide what's needed. I will definitely look them up on my next trip.

Review 3:the heating is a little too loud when it jumps on, same with the really impressive long case clock down in the common area - you can hear the full hours up to the room ...

Review 4:beautiful and very spacious room, all furniture seems to be chosen with love. very comfy bed.

Review 5:The furnishings of antiques make each room at this property unique. We hope to eventually stay in each room at least once. The breakfast muffins are the best and good coffee to start your day. Very relaxing.

Review 6:Amazing place to stay. Very nice and clean rooms.it's a small property (privately owned) but rooms are good size. Owner was very friendly and hospitable. love to stay there every time?

Review 7:The Princess and the Pea B&B is the restored 1887 Travellers Hotel. It is a wonderful piece of history with the local fir wood floors. The horse hitching post has always drawn me to this property. The beds are as comfortable as you will ever find. The historical detail is great, but the bathrooms are modern. The location has many other period buildings that you can enjoy during an evenings walk.

Review 8:No fault of the owners but is near a through road so was a little noisy with traffic. Don't expect a lot for breakfast. Coffee, juice and a muffin but they were homemade and wonderful.

Review 9:The B&B was so quaint. Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were large enough for our baggage and ourselves. Lots of places to sit and relax. The owners were friendly. We were there late fall which was too bad as they have a beautiful deck, pergola and outside heaters. Would love to go back and enjoy this part of the property.

Review 10:The room was excellent! Wally, the host, is the type of person that makes you feel, right away, like you've known him for years - a born B&B host.

Review 11:Heritage Building, beautiful details, well maintained. Modern Amenities. Luxurious Bedding. Fantastic Muffins, and coffee how you like it in the morning. Definitely would recommend a stay to friends, and would definitely stay there again.

Review 13:When we arrived Walley was exceptional, he gave us a tour of the place and explained the history. The bed in itself is an experience! The comfiest bed you will ever sleep on, you will have to try it to believe me! His wife made us tea in the morning and chatted to us, it made us feel really at home and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks again !

Review 14:We loved our stay at the Princess and the Pea. The owners are wonderful and made our stay even more special. The bnb is very charming and is a truly unique and memorable experience. We highly recommend this bnb to anyone looking for a great experience . Say hi to Wally and Sharon, they made our stay what it was. Spectacular!

Review 15:The place is immaculate, absolutely beautiful. The bed was like sleeping on feathers. The bathroom was amazing, from the decor,to the cleanliness. The rooms are completely private, and soundproof. (We were able to take showers at 3 am no problem),Wally was the most gracious host. He even gave us a little container of raisins that he made from the grapes he grows in the garden. Even though it feels like you are a million miles away from civilization, I couldn't believe that with just a 5 min car ride, we were at cascades casino, and the heart of downtown. My husband and I have been travelling across Canada for almost a year, and staying at different hotel, motel, wherever. There are no other accommodations that compare. I could rant for days. Really, spend a night, you will be so happy you did!
