Review 1:It took 2-3 hours to get bed for the child in the room. Restaurants were upper end priced and for us the service and the food in the hotel Chinese restaurant was no big experience.
Review 2:Nice, somewhat old hotel, great views from balcony to sea. Great pool and garden area and excellent beach. Breakfast was good as well service there.
Review 3:The person who checked me in only deducted the accommodation fees, then when I ordered dinner from room service they asked me to sign, then they called me on the phone telling me that I have to pay cash for my dinner.

Review 5:They do not pay attention to the small personal details, such as I told them it is my anniversary but nobody cares (noting that i had my wedding party in the same hotel), and that i want room in the upper floors even though the hotel was almost empty but they gave me in the lower floors, also the room was not equipped with hot water kettle and i had to ask for it.

Review 11:There was a horrible smell in the corridor that sneaked into the room, the staff is somehow not professional ( we were coming back from the beach with wet clothes and the room door didn't open so I had to go to the reception to activate the key while I'm wet and most of the reception in spite of being free they kept on telling me (please proceed to my colleague and he will help you) Ok you can see I'm wet running in the reception, simply you take the key and make it for me if you want. One more thing, it was my wife birthday, so I asked them to prepare a cake, I've been told they can arrange for romantic set up. It was a lil costly and the cake was so small.

Perhaps concrete walls of hotel are not well suited for Wifi access points located outside the room. No wired connection available. - 20 aed "Service Charge" charged at 1987 bar on top of expensive drink prices (20 aed for water) - did have decent live entertainment - Life guard and watersports very cautious - would not rent jetski on windy/wavy day and liked to keep swimmers close at all times - for our own safety I guess - Beach drink service seemed to ignore "call button" or was understaffed for demand that day

Bar tender and pianist top notch. - Security protocol: Luggage x-ray scanned, license plates scanned on parking arrival/departure, CCTV throughout hotel, dedicated security staff, lifeguards noticed on duty at all times - Free valet parking had fast service - Indian restaurant was great - Pool kept warm during winter, deep section >6' deep (not common in UAE hotels) Previous reviewers must not have stayed at the same hotel: -There was complimentary water both on the bathroom counter and end tables refreshed at each cleaning. -The hotel did not have any unpleasant odors anywhere except inside garden (fertilizer?) -The rooms were quiet (3rd floor) even when outside room was not. -Beach was clean and sandy - actively kept clean by beach staff -Elevator access to all floors -Beach closure after dark common across all UAE beaches. Pool remained open. -Lots of outside nearby local food options along Ajman Cornich All in all I am very happy I stayed at this hotel and consider it one of my favorite stays at a beach resort in the UAE.
Review 24:Staff tried to come inside the room without any permission to check the mini bar. Luckily door was chain locked. This was a very unpleasant incident which we never expected from a 5 star hotel.

Review 28:Not to many receptionist to help at the counter as u I had to wait. Some of the receptionists didn't have a good knowledge when I asked about the band if they are playing at that night hence they said they are not playing. But when I went to that pub they were available and performing!

Review 38:NOISE NOISE NOISE...There was private party at the hotel beach with indian band it was overrrrrrr noisy and ruined all our stay. Staff said the private party rented the beach garden and nothing can be done to such noise. It really ruined our stay.

Internet connection is the worse than dialup 56kps Internet, The staff are uninformative, one tell you something and the other tells you some totally opposite, then again the third once gives you another information then the first two.

Review 58:This is a 5* hotel that has several problems. 1) The plumbing waste system smells in several rooms. 2) The Ajman port is exactly next to the hotel. As a result, during the night hundreds of plastic bottles and food are drifted towards the shore of the hotel. The hotel removes them during the morning but the pollution is still there. I also strongly believe that if a scientific team makes research and analysis on the water cleanness it will be shocking as there huge ships that visit regularly the harbor (which is exactly next to the hotel). 3) The customer service is rather poor. There is no spirit in the staff and the whole experience is rather poor. 4) The 'after 7pm long trousers policy' which is written in various areas of the hotel creates a bad feeling for a 5* hotel. 5) The internet is NOT for free! Again unacceptable for such a brand name.

I had requested one king bed n they joint the twin bed n when at night i came back to the room n so that i was very pissed off n night 1:30 am when i call the resection n he was like he has no idea about the place where he's working. And he asked me that he will send me to other room n i have too go n check my self the bed n all .... i mean where was i not a five star . In my package i had complementary tea n juices n other thinks but even the room complementary tea was not available. It seams no body cares if the customers are in the hotel as even when we checked in in the evening 5:00 pm it was like we waited for 30 mints n no one wana attend us ... very bad experience.

We had a nice room with good view to the ocean from a big balcony. The food in the main restaurant was tasty with other options in different restaurants to dine with good ambience. We will sure stay again at this Hotel any time we come to Ajman.
Review 77:The facade of the building looks really old and could use some renovation. The rooms where we were in on the 2nd floor is kinda odd as you need to take a lift to the 1st floor then take the stairs to the 2nd floor.

Review 79:Very amazing stay, staff friendliness and service are impressive, rooms are clean, We had a room with a balcony with absolutely beautiful view to the ocean, the restaurants and coffee shops were super flexible where we had many options to dine, the main restaurant had a pretty good food quality with nice selection of varieties on their buffet. Their receptionists and concierge staff were very welcoming, helpful and fast with positive directions which we liked a lot. This hotel has a strong long nice reputation in Ajman and we were so happy to make the best choice for our vacation. It was truly home away from home. And We would really recommend it. We'll be back of course !

It didn't stop here, when I was going to swim in the pool I saw children feces in the water of adult's pool! How come 2 years old children wearing diapers swim in adult's pool! Review 90:1.I've noticed that two of the lifeguards at swimming pool were very rude with guests. 2. Toiletries must be arranged before check-in whereas we had to call and request tooth paste, brush, comb etc during our stay which is not a good sign of customer satisfaction. 3. After check-in,i've noticed that 3 to 4 items were less in the mini bar compare to the menu list like 7-Up, Gulfa water, kinder egg chocolate etc & the same was intimated to the concerned. They informed that they'll visit the room after 10 minutes but they didn't which is again a risk factor. Any how, we didn't face any disputes during check-out. 4. One hour prior to check-out, one of the hotel staff knocked the door twice & I was in the washroom but he couldn't hear me. All of a sudden,he opened the door without permission. I had no choice then to come out of washroom and request the staff to come after 10 minutes to complete the formalities. So, where is the privacy of guests?
Review 91:The best & interesting part of the hotel is that they've a staff like Christine at the reception. She was very polite & friendly during check-in. And again luckily it was Christine who completed our check-out formalities. That was the only reason, we ignored all the concerns we had during our stay.

Review 102:The hotel in general is amazing, however I felt displeased because of astaff misinformation. I called the hotel to ask for early check in andthey confirmed that I can come at 1pm, I told her to write that downnext to our booking or notify the reception to avoid clash when wearrive, she ensured that we will not face any issue, however; upon ourarrivals we were told we cannot check in at 1pm as per the hotel policyand we had to wait 2 hours until the check in time is allowed. That wasvery displeasing and I got into a fight with my husband because hethought I didn't check the hotel. The room was not as displayed inthe picture, it was dull and has a simple decoration! There was no waterkettle in our room and when we asked for one they said they gave it toall the rooms and will send us one when there is a chance, they nevercalled or did. Wifi is not fast. Breakfast options is ok, and tastesvery good. The hotel restaurants but very pricey are amazing and haveoptions to smoke or shisha in the cafe. The room view was really amazingfacing the gulf. We visited other hotels in Ajman, I think this one isthe best for the value of the money.
Review 103:There was a dirty underwear in our room, when we advised to front desk manager she came to the room and saw it, apologised and informed that she will make up for it, upon checkout they informed they sent chocolates to room for it, which wasn't true, and they finally offered 10% reduction on room rate.

I had to argue so they would accommodate us in adifferent restaurant. The wifi works for only 1 device at a time, notgood for business people or families. The room service food is ok butnot so compared to what they charge. Despite their amazing beachfrontlocation, instead of highlighting and providing a good dining ouractivity (eg. A beachfront night time restaurant), they decided to gocheap and close the beach on sun down altogether.

Review 132:This resort was the perfect getaway for a day trip outside Dubai. I enjoyed the beautiful beach and spend some time at the pool. Shisha at Cafe on First is great! Greetings to all the staff, I will definitely be back soon!
