Review 10：The location of the hotel, while convenient, gives rise to noise from the main road and from the field next door - one morning we were awoken by a landing helicopter, the next by a hot air balloon preparing to launch. The liberal use of animal parts - skins, hides, skulls, horns - in the decor may be a little strange for some - this is perhaps not No. 1 choice for vegetarians!

Review 18：The hotel is like new inside . Beautiful furnishings and a wonderful location facing onto the mountains and beside the main gstaad to gruyere road. The room was warm and had a balcony facing the mountains with a private car park outside.
Review 19：We asked for, and got, a very good view of the balloon launch site for three days of the international festival. For the next two days we moved to the opposite side of the hotel and had an excellent view of the mountains and along the valley from a lovely double-aspect corner room. Good value in a now very expensive Switzerland.
