Reviews for Casa Molino
Review 1:The road to the house was largely unpaged. There was no coffee/tea in the rooms or in the common area. We were charged for having afternoon tea.
Review 2:The house decoration The spacious yard The view from our room The breakfast
Review 3:Two mile drive on a bumpy dirt road to get there---that got old fast. At breakfast, staff did not clean dishes until everyone had eaten. Had dinner one night, truly mediocre
Review 4:Beautiful gardens and about the best location/view we have experienced. That is a gem
Review 5:GET A MAP - the location does not show up on Google maps. Dinner was satifactory
Review 6:beautiful grounds, new facility, not far from town once you find it.
Review 7:It is best if you have a car rented. But that actually is not a bad thing at all, because the view and the facility of a car are just great.
Review 8:The staff was just perfect. Kind and polite, specially Diego, from the front desk. We had a great time in Puerto Varas, and that includes the facilities of the hotel, such as : extremely comfortable bed, very clean and big rooms, nice hot tub in the bathroom and complete channels TV. The breakfast was great, with delicious options. But the main thing was the view and location: PERFECT, just in front of the lake, in a reserved area. We will, for sure, be back.
Review 9:I had to rent a car. But worth it.
Review 10:Wonderful and peaceful place.
Review 11:Nice staff and room in very quiet location but 7 km from town down a gravel road! Wasn't what I expected.
Review 12:Hotel was so beautiful in a fantastic location on lake overlooking volcano - staff spoke excellent English and were most accommodating - room was very comfortable and very good size - excellent breakfast - would stay again.
Review 13:The gravel road from the highway is very bumpy, but worth it at the end.
Review 14:Beautiful location right on the lake. Quiet, peaceful, very clean. Front desk staff were all awesome and went beyond my expectations in helping us.
Review 15:We were offered eggs at breakfast which we assumed were part of the breakfast included but were then charged at USD6 each at checkout, despite no cost being mentioned. We received early morning calls to move our vehicle despite being told to park anywhere and despite a "do not disturb" sign. We also received early morning calls possibly by mistake. There was no fridge in the room and the night attendant was to lazy too give us more than a few cubes of ice. He also wouldnt keep a pizza in the fridge in the kitchen, although the breakfast chef managed to find room for us. No room service.
Review 16:The hotel and rooms were stunning with a magnificent view of Volcan Osorno. We had a working chimney also. We were on our honeymoon and given a bottle of wine on arrival. The hotel and location was exceptional. The hotel staff were generally friendly but service was a little lackluster - see comments.
Review 17:The kitchen chimney tended to blow smoke intermittently toward the guestrooms while we were there.
Review 18:The setting is superb with a postcard view of the Osorno volcano fromevery room. The grounds were beautiful. The staff helped me arrange arental car for less than I could find online - and let me leave the carin Pto. Montt, where we picked up a cruise ship.
Review 19:4Km outside Puerto Varas on a dirt road, but well marked and easy tofind
Review 20:Great Country Hotel in a fantastic private location overlooking theLake. Great gardens and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Great food.Best Hotel we stayed at in Chile
Review 21:Food very over-priced with very limited selection Staff a little rigid, it was a beautiful evening and I wanted to eat my dinner outside at the table which was steps from the dining room but was told I couldn't as it wasn't convenient for the wait staff.
Review 22:The view from my room, the dining room, the grounds was phenomenal - looking out over a lake and 3 mountains Bed was very comfortable Quiet and peaceful
Review 23:The hotel is spectacular. It is a beautiful lodge -- including the common sitting areas, patio, dining room (with a lovely breakfast) and outdoor area. We stayed in two different suites with incredible views of the lake (and on a clear day, the volcano). The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The hotel is outside of busy Puerto Varas in a quiet and tranquil setting. Though it rained during our visit, the hotel made the trip worthwhile!
Review 24:The road to the hotel is roundabout and rough, but the isolation is worth the distance.
Review 25:the road is not easy to find
