Reviews for Hotel Puelche

Review 1:The pillows were dirty and the carpet very dusty especially under the bed. The charged the credit card with the wrong amount and I am currently disputing with my bank. Not what you want to experience wifi is very slow and works only ok by the lobby and reception. Too expensive for the 4 star expectation.

Review 2:The room was big and quiet. Facing the lake :) You can book the hot-tube and sauna for an hour, very good facilities. Breakfast is included, but jus ok. Staff was very nice and helped me coordinating tours around :)

Review 3:The only issue is that because of no A/C in area I had to keep Windows ajar and it was noisy dur to traffic along lake road.

Review 4:The staff were excellent. Restaurant terrific -- free great breakfast but also had delicious sandwiches and dinner there . Accommodations great. Comfy couches with tea and coffee on each floor an extra wonderful bonus. Also stunning views of the lake.

Review 5:Bad smell coming from the bathroom. The staff was a bit cold and not speaking english.

Review 6:Very big room (king size bed!) and nice view on the lake. The Spa was perfect at the end of a raining and windy day. The breakfast was ok.

Review 7:The breakfast is OK for the cost/quality of the hotel. No eggs included and a poor selection of breakfast food, though many cakes if you like sweets for breakfast. Also we had a view but Orsono and Cubalco obstructed by trees across the road.

Review 8:Beautiful architecture of the hotel, stone and wood. Our room was 402, a corner room facing the water. Lovely big comfortable room, loved the bay window where we could sit in the sun and enjoy the views. Window faces north so light all day. A bit of luxury during our holiday

Review 9:Wifi had a tendency to occasionally disconnect.

Review 10:Because of the local volcano erupting we were unable to reach the hotel until a couple of days later. When we could not get there we contacted the hotel, and had a very nice and understanding reply.

Review 11:A quiet, peaceful place. Big rooms with large windows especially the corner room where we were. Very clean. Giant bed. So mellow and everyone friendly. We have traveled a lot and one of the most pleasant hotels and cities we have ever stayed at.

Review 12:Nobody told us that the hotel has ist own car park, so we parked on the street (which was however no problem). Dogs in the neighbourhood tend to be a problem as they go on barking all night.

Review 13:Good location outside the center of the very busy/noisy town. Room was very spacious (we had the only room located on 6th floor, therefore no neighbours). The guy at reception was very friendly and speaks good english, the other staff were rather indifferent.

Review 14:Restaurant does only serves breakfast, which would be a problem for some travelers. Not us though, as it was a pleasant, short walk along the lake to the town central (just the right distance) with many restaurants.

Review 15:Everything. Room was large and quiet with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Claudio was very helpful and knowledge and speaks good English. Staff and facilities were pretty much perfect for the room rate.

Review 16:Nothing to dislike

Review 17:Great attention to detail. Very clean, great toiletries, turndown chocolates daily, wonderful location, comfortable room with great view and helpful staff. Walking distance to almost everything.

Review 18:the view was amazing and location was good. the network was efficient in the room. there is not real complain. only the breakfast was weak if you compare with the all possibilites; they may improve it. but it was ok.

Review 19:Nothing.

Review 20:We stayed for just one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very new and very clean. Breakfast was great - an array of cereals and mueslis, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, toast and berry cake! Plus fresh juice. Bathroom was great and the double bed was huge. Close to an interesting museum, great cafe/cake shop and walking distance to downtown. Was cloudy when we were there but nice views across the lake to the volcano.

Review 21:Room was large, warm, bed large and very comfortable (chocolates on turndown). Hot water/shower great, high standard toiletries. Balcony excellent views. Free coffee/tea common areas and very nice unrushed breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good english.
