Review 1：I reserved 2 night. But at the 1st night my husbans was bitten by bedbug. Almost 30 part of his body for just 1 hours. So we took many photos about bedbug alive. And I informed reception at 22:00 immediately. (There was not in reception. Just called) But nobody check my room. They just changed another room. But unfortunately there were so many bedbug in another room. And we could find many dead bedbugs in corner of room. TT
Review 2：See the positives. If you get a room with lost or stolen heating knob, get some tongs from the friendly reception - just a slightly more open heating turns the room into a sauna. The Swiss prices are currently extremely unfavorable due to the current exchange rates, which makes even this "cheap" accommodation quite expensive :-(
Review 3：Wonderful location, friendly atmosphere of a backpackers hostel. Style of old wooden mountain hut with thin wooden walls and shared bathrooms has both its advantages and disadvantages - depending on the current guests and their behavior.

Review 10：Their was only one plug socket to share in a 10 bed dorm. Barbra was guick to sort this out by connecting it to a 4 socket extension lead. The "only tumble dryer" was a bit frustrating for many of us, as after paying 5 CHF to use it for 1.5 hours only to then find your clothes were under half way dry was a back-packers financial nightmare. But Barbra the receptionist to the rescue, was very kind to give me a free token to use it again, but it still did not dry my clothes completely so to the rescue once again she let me use the staff tumble dryer. Thanks Babs, I love dry clothes
Review 11：The staff speak good English and are extremely patient and kind, Barbra was very helpful with explaining and directing us to good places of intrest, the location is breathtaking, the shower, kitchen, and dinning room area are kept clean. And the showers don't run out of hot water
Review 12：The most squashed dormitory room that I have ever experienced in a hostel. 10-bed (5-top and 5-bottom) mattresses laid next to each other side by side, mixed dorm. Photo was on the website but still a shock to see in real life - the squeeze of so many people in such a tiny room. Also the social areas of the hostel were very loud at night with sound coming through to the dorm, fellow guests didn't stick to the request for quiet after whatever time it was on the posters. Very hot room in the summer.

Review 21：Located in the centre of Iseltwald right in front of Seeburg Castle. Place for tents and cars provided. We stayed there in our own tent with access to bathrooms and kitchen. Nice staff.

Review 24：Beds were very low to the floor, which could be an issue for anyone with a bad back or other mobility issue. Showers and toilets down the hall could make for accessibility issues, though we had no problem even with other rooms filled with families and college girls. Some of the other guests did not clean up well after their cooking and eating - quite a few crumbs on the tables and counters.
Review 25：Front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. Very close to lakeside activities and just down the street from some very suitable restaurants. Good base of operations for local activities. Guest rooms and showers/toilets were maintained and clean.
Review 26：Even thou we have stayed in separate bedrooms it felt like dorms. There was only 2 toilets on the floor for around 20-30 people. Downstairs they had a small kitchen, with no ventilation - the cooking smells were everywhere. Wi-fi works only downstairs, very weak.

Review 30：no hot water in shower, cold water in the room doesn't work, no iron, no breakfast, neighbors in next room make too much noise, no supermarkets at this place or close very early : need to take the bus and go to Interlaken to buy some food.

Review 33：The people running this place really do make it the incredible stay that it is. Perfectly located (and with a good kitchen, lounge and dining area), Pascale and Barbera are both very much of the place and are so friendly and knowledgeable. Despite being busy, Pascale was perfectly willing to make enquiries to make our stay perfect (in my case finding out about how I could fish in the most idyllic setting I've ever cast a line). The rooms are fine and beds v comfortable. Parking is free for guests which provides the perfect base to wander round the lake. The view from the lake facing rooms made my wife and I decide to come back instantly. Thank you to such wonderful staff! Rob and Fiona.

Review 36：We really enjoyed our time at Lake Lodge, everything was perfect for us. The kitchen facitities were fantastic, our room was basic, but what I expected and the bus was easy and close (and with the tourist card it's free). The location is very peaceful, and there are quite a few great hikes to do from the hostel. I can understand that people complain about the distance to the city, and if you like the night life I don't think the last bus is very late and I'm sure a taxi would be super expensive. But for us the location was a bonus! Getting away from the big European cities was just perfect! Really great place and would recommend.
Review 37：It didn't feel un-secure however there are no lockers and the room keys are kept in a cupboard for all to use, there is nowhere to lock valuables. we stayed in a 7 bed mixed dorm - beds only separated by small wooden frame (very close to neighbour)
Review 38：It is in a beautiful location on Lake Brienz, about 20 min bus ride out of Interlaken - you get a free public transport card on arrival. Perfect location for a peaceful get-away with beautiful scenery and waking trails.
Review 39：I like the kitchen concept where you can make your own food which makes us feel like home. The staff is very welcoming and supportable. The view of the hotel is awersome, the kayak facilities are good. Its also cheaper as compared to other hotels but is an excellent value for money.

Review 47：Sleeping in 10 bed fully booked mixed gender room was a pain. Very narrow beds, multitudes of electronic gadget blinking, buzzing, ... annoying. Also you have to fight for your place with rommmates - had probably bad luck with them. Very simple & very limited washing facilities - only 1 shower on my floor & additional one loo. You better check-in before 22 (10 p.m.) because they close the door.

You pay what you pay but you have to make the bed and wash the dishes from breakfast and in the kitchen it says that they are not my mum so you have to wash and clean the dishes as if what you pay - the same as in other hostel we stayed in - would not be enough for the staff to wash the dishes or make your bed before you arrive (as in all the other places). Besides, you have to pay 3 chs extra if you want towels to take a shower. I wouldn't recommed it to anyone. Sorry, guys! :-(

Don't leave expensive stuff laying around, one person had there phone stolen by a roommate who checked out while they were out of the room eating breakfast. Review 58：Good price, they give you a travel bus pass so you can take the bus into and out of town for free. They pass also discounts many of the activities around town. They will also book any excursions that you want to do!

Review 121：This hostel is not worth the money we spent. Small and uncomfortable room. old and rough bedsheets. Breakfast was a joke. They put nutella and butter in small bowls and put in for all of the hotel guests. One coffee flask which finished too. Do NOT be tempted from the 'breakfast included' attraction from the hotel booking websites for this hostel because they are using it to befool people. Quality of rooms and washrooms and not worth the money this hotel charges. Really a disappointing experience.

Review 123：Please be careful when you go anywhere. COME BACK BEFORE 8 PM. THE LAST BUS WOULD BE AT 8-9 PM ONLY, IT IS VERY CONFUSING, SUMMER AND WINTER TIMINGS ARE DIFFERENT. ASK 2-3 PEOPLE ABOUT THE LAST BUS. AS THE BUS DRIVER TOO AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU CATCH THE LAST BUS BECAUSE THE HOTEL IS ON THE HILL, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OTHER THAN TAXI WHICH IS NOT ALWAYS EASILY AVAILABLE. we missed our bus and it was a great trouble.
Review 124：The View from the Lodge was amazing, I have stayed in many hotels but I have never ever seen such a beautiful view from hotel in my life...the hotel is bit far from city, but its worth taking than pan because it was a different experience all together. Amazing I must say!!
Review 125：I rented an so called apartment. but actually it was made above a shabby and old storage room. from outside it did not look livable atall. from inside it was rather better. kitchen was sufficient as per hotel's description. though it was economical compared to hotels, but still it was not an apartment in verbal sense. the main building in front with sharing rooms and beds looked much better. i would suggest they should not offer the apartment for renting at all. if they do, they should provide more information and photographs so that travelers can make conscious decision.
Review 126：I liked the location. also the concept of Hostel accommodation with shared facilities like Kitchen, toilet and bathrooms. due to which you can cook the food of your taste and need not to buy expensive food outside.
