Reviews for Chalets Nature Océan
Review 1:The chalet was delightful in every way! It was attractively decorated, spotless and well supplied with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Jason even welcomed us with freshly laid eggs for our breakfast the next morning!
Review 2:Wish there were more restaurants nearby; Percé too touristy for us. Our best meals were the great fish we bought at fish markets and brought home to fix.
Review 3:Loved the location right by the water. Convenient to a grocery store. Nice beach for fishing. Good kitchen.
Review 4:Nothing bad here. What was advertised is what we got.
Review 5:We stayed in chalet #9. The view was spectacular. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We should have booked two nights.
Review 6:The bed was very hard, wifi did not work, and would have been nice if there were a wood stove inside instead of fire pit outside since it was so windy and damp that we couldn't use the outdoor fire.
Review 7:Very private; far enough from other cabins and from highway to be very quiet. The decor is very cute and I appreciated that they provided little touches like coffee filters, set of cards, and a pad of paper.
Review 8:...the cabin was really, really small! You don't realize how small and cramped it is until you get there. The pictures show only the larger, really nice cabins, and you expect them all to be the same. But, when you book for 2 persons - you get this really tiny space and they tell you that only after you booked. Still we loved it, but if we go again, we'd know to book something a little bigger (and more expensive, of course).
Review 9:The location and the whole concept was great. We loved being able to park right next to the cabin and the space between them. You really had a high degree of privacy. On the whole it was a really nice 3 days stay, but...
Review 10:After eating their eggs one morning my sweetheart felt sick :( That might not be their fault though, since we ate so many of them at once, lol. ;)
Review 11:This was my favorite place to stay in during our whole trip in Gaspésie. I loved being in the nature but also having the comfort of a Chalet/Bungalow fully equiped with a kitchen and comfortable beds. I loved everything about this place... There were baby foxes and a porcupine. You get a view of the ocean. The staff is helpful and friendly. They give free eggs. You can make a fire. Very relaxing and romantic... Heads up: 20 minutes walk to downtown Percé if that's a problem for you (we didn't mind it).
Review 12:Would have appreciated shelves for clothes. Hooks for clothes and towels in both the bedrooms and the bathrooms.
Review 13:Wonderful views of Perce Rock and whales. Kitchen: decent pots and pans and knives. Soaker tub, lots of water. Laundry facilities on site. Bedside lights. Could have stayed on for weeks.
Review 14:Unfortunately from booking.com and trip advisor we expected to be booked in a chalet that was overlooking the water. As it turned out the chalet we were given was far away from the group of other cabins, and instead of looking at other cabins and the lake, we instead had a view of the campground, with many camper trailers. It was, in fact, staying in a trailer park. I didn't mind, but given this was a very special and long awaited trip away from the kids, I felt disappointed because I was led to believe that I would be steps away from the overlook of perce rock. I did speak with the owner, who said he was considering moving the PC's this winter. Also, the wi-fi did not work. When I asked the staff they basically said, it sometimes just doesn't. Perhaps good, but it meant spending international MB on checking the weather etc. on our phone. Next time I would make sure I had a "chalet" not a "petite chalet" or I would book one of the motels on the east side of 132 that truly overlook the ocean. Many great options in Perce.
Review 15:Great cabin, equipped with dishes and wine opener etc. Comfortable bed, lovely picnic table. Cool air. Nothing fancy, but just our style.
Review 16:a great place to stay while in Perce. We did not have a view of the rock from our chalet, but the facility was great with everything included. Would return without hesitation.

Review 27:The accommodation and the location.
Review 28:no english tv... no cable or advance notice of this... very windy spot on a hill no shade...

Review 33:The log cabins were a real novelty. Well equipped and beautiful location
Review 34:Beautiful location and beautiful place. Everything you could want was supplied from dishwashing detergent to a wine bottle opener. Jason even shared his freshly laid hen's eggs each day. Lovely people and a great place to stay.
Review 35:Loft bed easy to bump your head on.
Review 36:The cosy cottage, ability to make meals, picnic table on porch and adirondack chairs in front (which we couldn't use because of the rain and fog).
Review 37:small chalet overlooks RVs, not ocean (avoid Perce restaurants and eat at Le Vielle Usine in L'anse des beaux fils: turn right leaving campground)
Review 38:close to Perce
Review 39:The bath was in the bedroom in our chalet layout, this wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for someone else.
Review 40:The view is fantastic, the chalets are well equipped if you want to stay in and cook, and only 5 minute drive from the town. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they give you free eggs for breakfasts from their chickens which is a nice gesture.
Review 41:for our 5 night stay our chalet smelled of fish and was not up to date compared to our neighboring chalet which had alot of storage, was very cute. We didn't have very good weather therefore stayed in our chalet alot with Young kids who needed to be active . Only had two tv channels
Review 42:the view lots of Wind to fly a kite
Review 43:No tv.
Review 44:If you kind of want to rough it, this is a great place. So quiet. We had one double, one single bed, stand up shower, lots of pots & pans, thick towels, deck with outside chairs and picnic table, fire ring and a morning wake-up crow. There also was a small family of ground hogs in back that served as our entertainment.
Review 45:None
Review 46:Clean and very comfortable. The cabin is equipped with a kitchen where we can cook life lobsters. The site is surrounded by great ocean view. We see the sun set in the front and the sun rise from the back just by looking through the windows in the front or in the back. A great place to stay with a family since a cabin can take 6 persons.
Review 47:Loved being right on the ocean. Watching the wildlife. The peace and quiet.
Review 48:service
