Reviews for Vistalba Valley Hotel
Review 1:None of the staff spoke english so it was hard to communicate. There was no restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was very poor - we've eaten better in cheap hostels. The location is remote - don't stay without your own car. Not many options for food near by.
Review 2:The staff were very nice (apart from the owner who was rude) and the pool and gardens were lovely.
Review 3:It is a 4 star hotel, but we fell like home. Everybody very nice, very kind. They did the calls for reservations on restaurantes, winery and atractions. Mabel, the maneger was very dedicated. The breakfast was very good. There is place to park the car. This hotel is nearest the atractions than staying in the the of Mendoza
Review 4:This hotel is so horrible that it completely ruined our last days inMendoza!!! The hotel has a very dishonest owner who tries to takeadvantage you at every step. Try everything to avoid! There are so manybetter hotels in Mendoza!First when we arrived at the hotel, there was no one there, we had to open the door oursevels to park the car, then after waiting for 5 minutes at the reception, a big guy arrived, he didn't ask us to show any identification or anything as a normal hotel does, but the first he did was ask us to pay everything in cash. Then we got the keys to an uncleaned room seems to belong to someone else, after we complained they took as to another room. The room was okay but I found a spider on the bed which is a bit scary, also the pool was less than half filled. The whole point that we chose this hotel was that it had two pools, but one is not cleaned and the other is not even half filled!!! Compare to all the other wonderful experience we had in other hotels (ex. Villa Mansa), this was not really acceptable. The next day when we woke up, the worst came. We parked our rental car in the garden of the hotel, and when we were planning to drive to a vineyard the next morning, we found someone hit our car. There was no other guests in the hotel that night, so it could only be the hotel staff. We spoke to the owner of the hotel, he first said he didn't know, then refused to check the camera they had over the garden. Later he admitted they was responsible so he called up our rental agency in Spanish. Since our Spanish was not great, I couldn't understand what he was exactly saying. After the phone call, he told us the rental agency said we just need to go to the police station to get a report and we won't have to pay a cent. We were a bit skeptical but we did what he said. We spent the WHOLE last day going to 5 police stations to get the paperwork, and it turned out to be that we didn't actually need it for the rental agency!!!!
Review 5:The hotel location was okay.
Review 6:Breakfast not worth the money, a bit overpriced
Review 7:Clean and spacious rooms, good pool, nice garden
Review 8:conversation in the english language not that easy.
Review 9:perfect in total and a good breakfast.
