Review 1：couple of thins to be aware of. We got a room on the second floor which is very close to the road and it was quite loud. We needed to sleep with earplugs. It can be that rooms on higher floors dont have this problem. (entrance and reception are actually on the 6th floor as the hotel is located on a hill) The secondary entrance on the first floor wasnt working which was very frustrating as we need to walk quite a bit just to get to the main entrance and from there go back again down the hill to go to the center, but they were fixing this. Apart from this it was really nice.

Review 2：Really nice hotel, nice views, good breakfast, close to the center, and the hot tub was a dream!! really worth it!!! in general was a good time!

Review 3：Restaurant on top floor serviced by ground floor kitchens causing long wait for ordered evening meal. Mini bar locked on arrival and had to chase reception to unlock who didn't understand rationale behind the routine. Free arrival drink a nice idea but only redeemable at top floor restaurant (not ground floor bar) and if you don't like pisco sour hard luck which doesn't go well if you are then going to have a nice bottle of wine with your supper.

Review 5：The hotel needs more investment to keep beauty as it is shown in general out of the room, some ugly details in bethroom. I commented to reception desk there was a dangerous electric wire connection next to the pool, it was not properly sealed and water was so close. I did not like both rooms I paid for, half of view was for part of the building instead of lake, so expensive and not view enough like it is shown in web page.

Review 7：In the region there are several adventures like kayak, rafting, the beach itself, etc, and the hotel cannot lend you towels even if you are willing to pay for that service. It is expensive.

Review 9：What a shame the receptionist tried to fob us off with an inferior room inside the main hotel, telling us the rest of the rooms were 'busy'. This turned out to be a straight lie as when we insisted on having the room we had booked, she finally relented and phoned someone, after which we were shown to our correct room. Why would an otherwise good hotel do this and spoil the atmosphere on our arrival?

Review 10：We stayed in a club apartment set apart from the main hotel. A really lovely and beautifully decorated apartment with fabulous views over the lake and a lovely garden. A very good breakfast. The position of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk into town.

If I had known, I would never taken this hotel. Thephoto makes it look like nirvana. It does not represent what it reallyis. Yes a hotel, but a conference venue really.

Review 17：The hotel had a beautiful, lodge feeling. The view of the Lago Llanquihue was amazing. The staff were patient with our children and very helpful. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The location was also perfect.

Review 20：I didn't quite understand why there were a series of visitors to my room by staff. One lady to deliver the bottled water, another lady to deliver complimentary chocolates. It seemed a bit odd really. Also it was very busy in the public areas leading to a rather "manic" feel about the place. The free glass of wine was predictably poor quality.

Review 21：Clean and spacious room with views over the lake. Good facilities including room fridge, safe, etc. The food was quite good, breakfast comprehensive.

Review 22：For the breakfast I would have wanted wholegrain bread. The whole breakfast very rich on calories with few protein sources and there were few alternatives. Whole grain bread could have been an alternative. To the scramled eggs it would have been nice with some bacon, absolut a good alternative to the White bread and cakes.

Review 23：The Night Sandwich at the bar was not so good, when we first arrived, a pack of cookies was opened ( probably overlooked by the cleaning lady ) The day after, when they go over the itams you consume of the mini bar, they charged us for that cookie and for a deck of cards that we didn't even know it existed. But then we talked to the manager and she was super nice about it and we didn't have to pay after all

Review 32：We arrived in the evening after the 12 hour Cruce Andino crossing from Argentina. The most efficient front desk staff we encountered on our trip. We were checked in quickly and were enjoying a welcome drink of Pisco Sours in the bar in record time. Delightful. We had the most wonderful view of the lake from our room. If we could have stayed another night, we would have, but they were full. Puerto Varas is a lovely little city.

Review 33：Staff was arrogant and indifferent to customer needs. They did not honor the confirmed reservation price and charged me $404 more than quoted price. Restaurant meals was buffet style and awful.

Review 35：We loved everything! The hotel is very well located; from our room, we could see the lake and one of the volcanos. It was very clean, and everyday they used to leave little chocolate bars in our bed - nice touch! The hotel has a great restaurant and a very nice bar, with reasonable prices. One of the reception attendants was very nice with us: we've booked a tour which was cancelled, and she made several calls to try to find another one or a car for us to rent. The hotel facilities are great: the gym is very good, with new equipments, and they have a pool, sauna, spa service... It was a very pleasent stay! We have nothing to complaint!

Panoramic views of the lake and volcano,gorgeous rustic furniture and lovely linens. The two bedroom familyapartment was perfect for travelling with two adult children. It washard to leave the room, even with all the Lake District has to offer!!

Review 112：Amazing breakfast! Amazingly large bed. The view was incredible, only 5 mins walk from town. A truly peaceful place which encouraged relaxing, the perfect xmas escape. We loved it.... and we will be back!! :)
