This small, charming Christiania hotel has been run by the same family since 1953. The 11 rooms are all designed individually with a warm, attractive interior. Non-smoking rooms are available. Free wireless internet access is available.
Especially the authentic Egyptian Lebanese cuisine is well known and appreciated with its wide selection of colorfully garnished, well balanced "mezze" (appetizers). A selection of Lebanese wine, beer and coffee rounds off each Middle-Eastern meal.
But also traditional seasonal dishes and the very generous meat and fish fondues are served in the small, charming non-smoking restaurant or on the terrace.
Free parking spaces are next to the Christiania hotel. A public parking lot (fees apply) is located opposite the hotel.

Review 1：This family-run hotel has a great location and a lovely staff. The kitchen has an unusual menu: traditional Swiss and seasonal specialties, as well as middle eastern offerings.

Review 9：I wished it does suna or jakkuzi in the hôtel but anyway it was a bain quite big in the room, dont Forget to buy the bottle of water and put in your rooms. Cause each small evian bottle was 7:22 franc . So we were totaly surprised cause we think it is free and we already paid 56 franc for almost 7 small evian water, although the super market is next to hôtel and you CAN buy everything in good price

Review 10：The location was great, in heart of gstaad near bars , Resturant and shopping , the room was perfect . Quite .large with a lovely balcony, they clean the room twice a day. The staff and personel were super kind, they really hélp us for everything we asked them. The transportation was quite easy you CAN go to pist of ski with taxi and ofcourse bus and train. The train station is very close to hôtel, thén when you Côme from airport you dont néed to take a taxi , you CAN walk easily. There was à Heather for our ski shoes so each time we get back from skiing we pût our shoes there to be warm for the ôther day,the wifi was gréât and aslo the breakfast was super rich , i mean there was alto of choice for breakfast and it was on the room. That was great having such a breakfast we should pay at léast70 franc by person but it was on the roôm. i think every thing was perfect and next time i Will stay in same hôtel with those kind staff

Review 11：The staff were so friendly especially the manager. I could not speak French or German but he made me feel like I was very welcome. The breakfast was superb and the room was very clean and very nice. The location was excellent. I would highly recommend this place for lots of reasons but the reason I would return was because the staff were so kind and so helpful. I also loved Gstaad so much, it was such a beautiful place.

Review 16：Hotel is on a reasonably busy road BUT I always travel with ear plugs so it wasn't an issue but the hotel actually gives you them in case you want them. I've never seen this consideration before.

Review 19：excellent service, breakfast as you like it (and whenever you like it). The manager moved me into a very quiet room when I requested it. Location right next to COOP, a large grocery store.

Review 20：If your room faces the street beside some traffic you are oftendisturbed by the machines cleaning snow or ice on the hockey pitch rightacross the street. Also some sounds come from the play itself while puckhits the board.
