Review 1：Most of the staff feels they dont want to work. Breakfast doesnt have almost anything. Pool is small and doesnt have much space around the pool. Sauna didnt function for a week until the fixed it. Beach is close by but you cant swim there becouse of the wawes, ansolutely too strong for childs. They advertise they have all kinds of activities and water sports but they dont have anything. Restaurants food is horrible but there is no others close by. At the check out they tried to charge some extra from us without even being able to say what is that extra cost, then came someone else and said maybe someone had take for our room number but they didnt even had receipt for it.

Review 3：Everything could be much more clean Especialy the shower should be cleaned better In the shower there was almost no water, was hard to clean the hair The beach has big waves and the water is very cold

Review 4：A perfect place for young families with children. For us as young couple was this a little problem in the morning when the children already start with all the noise. It is directly at the beach Perfect for kitesurfer

Review 5：The free wi-fi was not very efficient - it kept dropping out (i.e. we lost the signal) which made it too painful to listen to music, for example (which is one of my primary uses of the internet).

Review 6：The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, far more so than in similar pousadas we have stayed in in Brazil. The location was good for the beach, but a long way from the centre of Cabo Frio (obviously no fault of the hotel, but a misjudgement on our part). The food in the bar was very reasonably priced - not top quality, but good value for the cost.

Review 7：The furniture is a bit old, not really matching the photos. Also if you don't have a car you'll have to walk quite a lot to the beach that is in down town Cabo Frio Their parking with video surveillance is very small compared to the number of guests they can host, they have no video surveillance of the street in front of the pousada.

Review 8：The staff, especially Gabriela who speaks english The room was clean, the cleaning lady came in every day The staff at the bar was very nice always willing to help even though they didn't know English. Breakfast is diverse so each day you can choose something else provided you don't pile a mountain of food on your plate each day

Review 13：The hotels website made it seem like all of the water sports were closeto the hotel but they are not. Me and my friends took a 15 minute taxidrive to arraial do cabo which is were we took an amazing boat tour. Butthe beach in front of the hotel is ok and does not have thing fun to do.The hotel is located in a neighborhood and there are no restaurants..theone women who makes the food was very mean to my friends and even mockedher and gave her dirtily looks for no reason. The room was ok. The firstthing you are greeted by when you enter the hotel is a nasty smell ofsewer water and that smell is in the room and everywhere else in thehotel. There were ants on the beds and all over the room as well asroaches. The sheets are not changed daily and the maid does not come toclean the room they only come to make beds.. The fridge that was in ourroom was dirty and unplugged with no food in it. The price was ok onlybecause I split it with my friends. I saw other reviews of this placebefore I came which scared me but I didn't experience any robbing.The guys at the desk were friendly however.

Review 15：Theres nothing around, nowhere to go without car or taxi. They only offer lunch, but no dinner and there is no common kitchen or possibility to make barbecue or to have self-catering.

Review 17：Without a good grasp of Portuguese, the language barrier was a little trickier than in the Rio area. I also did not know that they would not clean my room unless I left my key at the reception. Wasn't really their fault, but I wish they had explained that to me beforehand. My biggest issue, however, was their lack of beach towels. Other than that, this was a standard pousada, with a great location directly on the beach.

Review 18：The location directly on the beach was fantastic. The room was clean, and everything worked fine. Breakfast was standard, but fine. The women who worked at breakfast were very nice.

Review 19：Well the location was grear the beach, the room where my self and mygirl friend staying was not that good most of the rooms is needing to berepairs like front door broken lock poor painting needing a betterdecoration to make the room more frendly and more confortable at thepresent time I really will not recomend friends that Pousada till therooms get fix to make it more confortable, also when I have book thatPousada in the web-side or advertise the Pousada Laguna was mark smalllunch include when I got there they tell me that it was not include inthe price I said again the location was great really good but the roomsis needing attention.

Review 21：Well kind of pldand run down could use an update for sure. A lose the morning breakfast could use some help stale bread and warm juice and a constant need to ask then staff to refill the coffee not the best way to start out the day. However, for the price it's a good deal for water views just a side note imwas there in the off season so cannot comment on how it would be in the on season.

Review 23：The gym was not functioning at the time of the visit, and was difficult to determine when it might be back in action. Some small 'ants' in the room, which the staff treated. Not too untypical in Brazil, and have experienced in more expensive establishments.

Review 24：A good pousada, with nice facilities. The rooms are simple, but good value for the price paid. Breakfast is of a good standard, not a big selection but very acceptable for the budget. The fresh orange is better than many expensive hotels I have stayed at in Brazil. All round, we would stay again, conveniently located between Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo, both places a must on the tourist map. Some of the staff had use of english, and those that didn't were patient as we used our limited Portuguese.

Review 25：We booked a room with view on the ocean, but when we got there we only got a room with gardenview. That was a little sad since we specialy booked this hotel for the view. And the beds were awfull!! Very old and uncomfortable.

Review 26：The hotel itself is a very basic one. We had everything we needed, but thats it. But its location is awesoem, right in front of the beach! And while we were there the were doing some construccions, so in acouple of months im sure it will be even better.

Review 30：This pousada is located on a beautiful beach of white sand which is aswell as private, it might be the less crowded beach in the whole regionthat we had seen during all our stay. All rooms have a veranda with apartial sea view (although very few of them have sea view from thewindow), nice to stay in your hammock. Arraial do Cabo is Whithin 5 mindrive, Bùzios - 20 min. Breakfast is reasonable. We had wonderful timein this beautiful pousada.

Review 31：The owner speaks perfect english. You can playing game's for free ( biljart, darts, pingpong, swimmingpool, fitness etc) If we gone back to brasil, we go for sure back to Pousada Laguna !!
