Review 1：Double beds a little small and too firm for my liking

Review 2：Rooms clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was fine and they are working on improving the facilities.

Review 3：The only thing was that there were loud noises until late at night. We think they were caused by people entering their rooms. But still, not too bad.

Review 8：Motel is old fashioned and sprawling so it's a bit of a walk to get to the office, ice machine and breakfast area. Also, the fridge has no freezer, which I needed at the time of my stay. Otherwise, everything else was very good.

Review 18：We arrived during the evening and the person at the front desk wasn't very friendly. He was very curt, just said the bare minimum. It felt cold, like he was unapproachable. The airconditioning was not working properly either. It wasn't very hot when we went so it's okay. The toilet was also leaking, but we fixed it ourselves.

Review 19：It was very clean and modern for a motel type of room. The breakfast in the morning had a lot to offer and the woman at the front desk in the AM was really friendly.

Review 28：Very convenient location, 10 minutes drive from Ottawa city centre, close to restaurants. Even though the outward looks like an average motel, it is not: the rooms are newly refurbished, with elegant and modern decor and a very practical and logic organisation. They are large, comfy and crystal clean. The staff is helpful, warm and welcoming. The pool is perfect.

I had an argument that rooms 421 & 422 were paid in full... 1/2 hour later the guy calls me back to say he found the payment... But the surprise was ruined

Review 42：There was some construction being done to the exterior of the motel, so it was quite noisy quite early in the morning. Also the tv remote was almost impossible to use - first wouldn't change channels, then the channels went haywire! Coffee maker at breakfast was ornery - slow and needed lots of service from the staff. But those things were not a big deal.

Review 43：The room was gorgeous! Obviously recently renovated - it was surprising how nice the room was (room 222), and very clean. Convenient location for driving into Ottawa. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Affordable - I'd highly recommend it for a base camp. Pool looked nice, but we didn't use it - too chilly and our room was too far away.

Review 48：The Adam Motel is one of the best values in lodging that I've encountered in quite a while. The rooms are in excellent condition and are very, very clean. Parking is directly in front of your door as all rooms are at ground level. The continental breakfast is adequate but the layout of the tables in the lobby makes breakfast a positive event in that one meets other guests. All the desk staff were pleasant and helpful but Natasha was the best; maybe it’s her smile! This motel has good highway access but I suggest that one consult maps or electronic guides in order to find the location with the least difficulty.

Review 54：Due to late booking for accommodation in downtown Ottawa I ended up staying in Gatineau. I was not sure how it would work for me, but my accommodation at Adam Motel was just fine - everyone was friendly, the room was really good and comfortable and value for money. I would stay again!

Review 55：I booked our room on Booking.com and was surprised to see that we had to pay a $3 fee for this service. Making online reservations may be easy and fast but I didn't know we'd have to pay the booking fee. I won't do that again.

Review 89：During a 4-night stay, we had to move twice!! First, our AC system was faulty and didn't work properly while the weather was around 26-28C. As soon as we informed the reception of the situation, they switched us to another room. However, because we were so far from the reception, our WiFi was almost inexistent in room number two.... So they moved us back closer to the reception. Everything was fine aside from these little incidents. Reception mentioned that as of July 7 2014, some arrangements had been made with Internet installers to fix the issue shortly...
