Reviews for Hôtel-Motel Rocher Percé B&B

Review 1:Breakfast was a bit small for adventuring all day - the croissants were lovely, but had to fill up with toast.

Review 2:So nice to wake up with a view of Percé Rock. The hotel was in walking distance of shops, restaurants and dock. Beach access was very close, interesting to walk along rocky beach to Percé Rock. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Review 3:the divided bathroom ,sink in one room and bath in another. The stove dial needs repair.

Review 4:The location was great, the room with a kitchenette is large with a beautiful view, the bed was comfortable and our host was very nice. I would definately go again.

Review 5:The Petite Dejeneur (breakfast) consisted of bread, butter and jam. The bread was good, but the meal was not close to being a continental breakfast.

Review 6:The location was ideal, close to the beach and all attractions

Review 7:Breakfast was a let down, white French bread for you to toast, croissants, unripened melon and apples, orange juice, coffee and tea. 2 toasters for over a dozen people at one time trying to have breakfast. Not much variety, since it was more of a continental style of breakfast, we would have preferred some yoghurt and a mixture of fruit and muffins, so everyone could help themselves and not have to wait for the toaster.

Review 8:As above, excellent location, right in town and easy walking distance everywhere. Very nice room with toilet and sink and bathroom right next door, comfortable bed and pleasant staff.

Review 9:The beds were hard and uncomfortable; the room was extremely tiny and cramped, and there was a bright light shining outside our window at night which inhibited sleep despite the curtains.

Review 10:This hotel/motel is within easy walking distance of beach, wharf and restaurants.

Review 11:Everything.

Review 12:Nothing. We had paid for breakfast , which we never received. She had told us that breakfast is not included thus we did not attend it. However, I later saw that I paid for breakfast. Nevertheless when I was trying to check in she kept on badgering me to pay more money because of my children which was never mention when I brought the room in booking. I would highly discourage that anybody will attend that motel again.

Review 13:Dirty, dusty TV stand, smelly carpet, hair in the bed. The chairs on the balcony were dirty too, not ready for use. It is really bad for the cleanliness.

Review 14:Location The lady let us check in earlier due to the rainy weather. Nice of her.

Review 15:I arrived early & snagged a room with a lovely view of the rock, which I watched as the sun set & the next morning as it rose. It's just a short walk to the steps leading to the beach where you can walk to the Perce causeway at low tide for sight seeing. The fresh breads & croissant for breakfast with homemade jams were delicious. I guess the only thing I would have like would be fresh fruits/yogurt for breakfast. Friendly, helpful hostess!

Review 16:As a solo traveller, this h/motel came up as the best deal in Percé itself and I'm so happy I chose it! Impeccably clean, downright spotless, room and bathroom in a lovely house with amazing views of the water and the Rocher Percé rock. And it came with a delicious breakfast on top of that. Close to the centre of town, the beach, hiking trails, etc. I'd definitely return here on a future trip.

Review 17:Sort of like a boarding house but comfortable. Breakfast was really just coffee & breads & jam & peanut butter.

Review 18:Very "French" and picturesque. Hotel room was comfortable but there are more expensive motel units. Very close to all attractions & restaurants for walking in town. View of Roche Perce from room! Hostess, Madeline was very helpful and friendly & spoke excellent English!

Review 19:- Very humble breakfast, probably the worst I had in the whole trip, - We had to find our room on our own, and so many rules... - We could hear even the next door conversation, - Too expensive for what it is,

Review 20:- Location is quite good, close to the Rock

Review 21:There was no A/C. By evening it was easy to cool down the room with ocean breezes but if you had to stay in the room for the day (eg sick) it would be pretty hot.

Review 22:Even though the shower was down the hall there was a two piece powder room in the corner of my room.

Review 23:Breakfast on front of the veranda, art galery in the loby

Review 24:Bardzo ubogie sniadanie, skrzypiacy materac.

Review 25:Really nice location near the beach where, on low tide, you can walk to the rock, and close to the main street

Review 26:Bathroom behind a curtain in the bedroom, when other toilets flush there was a bubbling in our toilet which kept us awake.

Review 27:Location and staff

Review 28:The queen room was small and we had to share a bath. Thought we'd booked in a hotel/motel, not a b & b

Review 29:The location is excellent

Review 30:Wonderful service and hospitality!

Review 31:close to everything people friendly

Review 32:No shoes allowed in mail building

Review 33:Location was excellent

Review 34:Perce is a small town, with the wharf and attractions in the middle. The Rocher is located closer to the north side of the town, about a five to ten minute walk in, which is hardly anything, but thats the only possibly unfavourable feature about this motel.

Review 35:Very welcoming and knowledgeable local staff helps you with queries about the town, things to do, the ins and outs etc, so you can skip visiting the tourist info center. There is an art gallery featuring local artists in the main lobby. Rooms are clean and tidy with all the basics. The views from the rooms arent spectacular, but that would be nitpicking.

Review 36:unit was not clean to satisfaction; armchair was brown due to not being cleaned. Glasses in the bathroom were greasy and very dirty, and they had put a paper saying ''theses glasses have been sanitized!''. Disgusting... Very small room.

Review 37:proximity to action and Rocher Percé

Review 38:The sise of the bed are not true a double bed is 54 inchs but they ave a 48 inches bed size. the florr are not on level and you role on your partner all the night long. They must correct this one the page of booking.com

Review 39:The breakfast was very humble. Toast with jam. For me it's just nothing. RV-park right in front of our window - obstructing the sea-view.

Review 40:The motel room was very clean and in a very good condition. Very close to Roche-Perce.

Review 41:One of the beds was quite hard.

Review 42:The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed sitting on the small deck looking at the river (and a corner of the famous rock). The continental breakfast was really nice with fresh jams and good coffee.

Review 43:Bad weather!

Review 44:L'hospitalité!

Review 45:Good location to access multiple activities: Boat crossing to Bonaventure Island, close to Rocher Percé, foot path to Mont Saint-Anne

Review 46:The noise The quality of the bed The breakfast (too light for the price)

Review 47:The proximity with perce town

Review 48:The continental breakfast was atrocious.

Review 49:The location was excellent

Review 50:The speedbumps in front of the property....

Review 51:The owner was accommodating and helpful.

Review 52:price of everything around no parking in town

Review 53:clean pleasant staff spacious full kitchen

Review 54:friendly owner, nice room.
