Reviews for Lujan De Cuyo B&B

Review 1:Nothing!

Review 2:Everything. Great communication from the beginning of the booking. We had an amazing time here. The owner is a helpful and friendly guy. He organised our wine tour on the day including a 5 course lunch. This is a much better option then paying a fortune for an organised wine tour (we spent less money and stayed at a great place). His bbq dinner was the best bbq we had in SA trip. Great breakfast.

Review 3:Difficult to reach without a car. If coming from Mendoza, we would recommend taking the metrotranvia to Progresso station, and then taking a taxi (approx 100 pesos), rather than taking the longer bus journey from Mendoza to Lujan de Cuyo town.

Review 4:Facilities were great, and atmosphere very tranquil. Enjoyed watching the nesting hummingbirds outside our room. Staff were friendly.

Review 5:We only stayed here one night, prior to going to the airport. When we arrived, we hadn't had any lunch yet, it was around 3 pm. So we asked for a recommendation nearby. Immediately they offered to make us something, so we had a nice salad and empanadas. They also offered dinner in the evening, which was a very nice experience, eating and meeting other guests. Since we had to leave early in the morning they showed us where to find the breakfast. The coffee and tea making facilities were a nice touch. A very hospitable family!

Review 6:There is really nothing negative to say about my stay. Nacho is an awesome host.

Review 7:Nacho made this an incredible experience for my boyfriend and I. He helped us plan our stay in Mendoza, arranged taxis and winery visits. He also cooked us delicious dinners at night. I felt like at home at this B&B and it was all due to Nacho's hospitality. This place get 5 stars in everything.

Review 8:It was a bit far out from Mendoza but was then very close to the wineries. Catch 22! Bathroom door swelled in the wet weather and didn't shut properly.

Review 9:Nacho and Nicholas arranged our days for us and made our stay in Lujan very easy. Beautiful gardens and lovely dogs, even if the new puppy is a little bitey he still is very cute!

Review 10:functionality of water system (shower partially without water). With a small playground for children, it would have been perfect.

Review 11:Staff very helpful with good contacts to book all kinds of tours, dinner, nice place, practic and clean, beautiful garden

Review 12:Nothing that you could possibly dislike!

Review 13:Nacho and his family were the greatest hosts you could ask for. He made sure we had wine tours set up daily, provided delicious breakfasts/dinners and special asado for our last night. Couldn't have asked for more!

Review 14:Nothinh really, it exceeds the price asked in terms of residence, service and most importantly making you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Review 15:Fantastic host Nacho, surrounded by a great team, amongst which his Mother who is really a great cook. When traveling with younger kids you need some flexibility in food and cooking times everything is possible here. The location is beautiful and honoust, with the wineries in close proximity. Highly recommended.

Review 16:It can be difficult to find due to the location

Review 17:Its Pet friendly Provide a nice space to meet other people from other parts of the World Very personal and friendly environment

Review 18:The floors were not clean, dirt laying around in many places. The toilet didn't work while we were there and could not get repaired because of the long weekend.

Review 19:Nacho was extremely helpful to organize tours to different wineries.

Review 20:Nacho was incredible to stay with, not only did he organise all of our vineyard tours but also the transportation between. Lujan de Cuyo was a great place to stay and perfect for our trip, nacho also provided a fantastic dinner for us on our first night. We hope to return again to Mendoza as we will definitely stay here again.

Review 21:No bad experiences at all!

Review 22:Nacho was fantastic - he arranged all our activities in the area by calling up and booking us tables at restaurants and wine-tastings at wineries. We received a delicious meal from Nacho in the evening too. The room is lovely and perfectly clean. The setting is beautiful.

Review 23:The hot water pressure for the shower was a little off, but we never brought it up so we can't really blame him.

Review 24:Nacho is amazing! I wouldn't recommend coming to Mendoza without his expertise. He arranged a full trip through the Mendoza wineries for us, including calling cabs.

Review 25:The owner "Nacho"! His kindness, his knowledges about wines, Argentina and more. The place which is a real oasis perfectly located for visiting all the Wine caves. Making an "Asado"

Review 26:The B&B itself is just great-a series of cottages built in a beautiful wooded setting just outside of Lujan de Cuyo. What makes this place shine is the host, Nacho, your own private concierge magnified. He is delightful and loves his B&B-service at its best!! Enjoy

Review 27:All was great.

Review 28:The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and the owner, Nacho, was so helpful. He arranged tours at wineries and lunches for us and provided information about other sites, like the thermal baths. His family was also so welcoming ; this is clearly a family endeavor well done.

Review 29:Can't think of anything

Review 30:If you stop by in Mendoza to enjoy the magnificent vineyards and wines of the region, this is the place to stay. Nacho is an amazing host who knows how to look after you without being too intrusive. His Bed and Breakfast is obviously great for families. But even as a solo traveler from Hong Kong, I had an amazing time. I feel like I went to visit friends instead of simply going to a hotel! Thanks again, Nacho, and keep up with the good work.

Review 31:There is not such thing

Review 32:Everything has been already written about it, everything is really like the others wrote. Small beautiful B@B with big garden, big pool, spacy nice rooms with big bathroom. Location perfect for discovering and visiting wineries in Luyan de Cuyo and Maipu, but not for going out every night to Mendoza city, because it is quite away from it. If your main goal are the wineries and maybe just sightseeing Mendoza, than this is the place to be. And th best of it is Nacho, the owner. He immediately makes you feel like at home, you get a feelling you know him for a long time and because of him you somehow get immediately connected to other guests (we had asado and one more dinner at his place with some other guests). And he helps with organising the visits in the wineres (not the easiest thing at all - by the way, the only advisable way to do it is with tai!). I don't know wat else to say except thank you, Nacho, for making our stay so wonderfulnd easy going!

Review 33:Everything at Nacho's Lujan de Cuyo BnB is pretty much perfect. We arrived and were greeted warmly; once we settled into our room Nacho began asking us about the types of winery we would like to visit, explained the history of the area and all the regions and wines available! He then set about organizing our entire trip! Amazing service, felt like family.

Review 34:The surrounding town is not very nice (Lujan) if you are the type to want to go for walks and runs in the area. While we didn't have a car and managed fine with taxis, it was a bit challenging to get to the grocery store and restaurants. I'd recommend renting a car if you will be here more than a couple days - the taxis definitely added up. There is a but into Mendoza that takes about 45 minutes and Nacho will drop you off at the bus stop, but to take it back at night is a bit sketchy.

Review 35:Since I booked the reservation, the owner, Nacho, could not have been more helpful. He booked all of our wineries visits, bike rentals, mountain tours, and even bought our bus tickets for us from Mendoza to Bariloche. The B&B was incredibly spacious and comfortable - the biggest room and bathroom we had. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Grounds are beautiful and inviting if you feel like relaxing at the hotel for an afternoon.

Review 36:Our host, Nacho, was very welcoming and helpful and easy going . Lovely garden and pool - perfect for lazing around on Christmas day. Fresh fruit for breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere with a family feeling. Lots of vineyards in the vicinity with delicious lunches and wines. A perfect few days rest before heading off again on our travels.

Review 37:This B&B will warm Your heart and is home away from home. I enjoyed every minute of my week stay. The wonderful host Nacho will help you all the way with amazing wine tours, bisycle rent, dinner options, airport transport etc. The BBQ at the House is very delicious too! I

Review 38:I really cannot find anything negative to say.

Review 39:Excellence is the word I can use to best describe everything about our experience with Nacho (Ignacio) at his wonderful bed and breakfast. I made the silly mistake of booking for the wrong date and Nacho quickly came to our rescue and was able to accommodate us. He then, without hesitation, booked us a divine tour of three wineries and a fabulous six-course lunch at the last winery with inexpensive taxi services waiting to whisk us away at the end of every winery tour and tasting. We didn't ask how much these tours and tastings would be because we knew they would exceed our expectations, regardless of price. We were pleasantly surprised that these experiences topped any tastings/tours in the States at half of the cost. So just let Nacho take care of it all for you...you'll be glad you did. As far as the B and B itself, it was a beautiful rustic haven. Beautiful brick cabins enclosed a gorgeous garden and pool, where we were invited to participate in a tradition Argentine "asado" or barbecue that evening. Wow!!! What a complete experience of the Argentine countryside! Nacho's family run B and B is clean, comfortable and complete. The breakfast selection full of traditional fresh pastries, fruit, etc. You really can't go wrong here. You'll be so glad you stayed here and let Nacho be your host! We are eternally grateful and are planning to return...with friends!

Review 40:Nothing

Review 41:Nacho's hospitality is rare and makes for a perfect stay.Dinner was a lovely homecooked parilla and an excellent time for guests to bond over Malbec.Unless you want to risk finding what you may think is better accommodation, stay here!

Review 42:Nothing !! It's a fantastic place.

Review 43:What a fabulous place ! The setting is beautiful, the rooms lovely, and the host Nachoz amazing. Every night the family produced a fantastic meal for the gathered guests, sharing good stories, great wine and food. Nachoz also helped with making wine tour resevations and transport. This was a great find.

Review 44:Nacho and the dogs are the best part about staying here. You will be treated like family and you'll receive help with winery tours and whatever else you'd like. The dinner I had here was the best I had my entire trip in Argentina. Homemade empanadas. Yum!

Review 45:We were made to feel welcome before we arrived. Nacho hired bikes in advance so when we arrived we were off into wine country. He couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were lovely with all the nice touches, including coffee and tea. The meal he cooked for us one night was delicious.

Review 46:What to say, from the second we arrived Nacho made us felt like at home. The place itself is beautiful and the rooms are very confortable so is the lounge/dinning room. What made the difference to us is that Nacho organised all our excursions and visits to wineries. In 2 and a half days we went to lunch to two very good wineries, I recommend Lagarde for the food and visit and Velasco for the views of the mountains, a guided visit to a boutique winery, Bonifatti which was excellent and very informative, a morning rafting and canopying and an afternoon horse riding. We also went to Mendoza for another afternoon /evening. Everything including transfers were organised by nacho and everything was top notch. We also had dinner in one night and it was nice to have a home dinner after 6 weeks travelling around and eating out. Don't stay in the city, go to lujan and stay at Nachos place. You won't regret it!

Review 47:The owner, Nacho, goes out of his way to be welcoming and helpful to his guests. He organized three days of excursions for us once we arrived and we had a great time each one.

Review 48:Best owner ever so helpful!!!

Review 49:Nacho was verry kindly en give good service.

Review 50:Very friendly staff, great stay, perfect location to discover wine yards by car. Delicious dinner

Review 51:Hospitality fantastic. Clean, well appointed rooms.

Review 52:Nacho made our stay unforgettable. He helped planning the trips to the vinery and was friendly host as well.

Review 53:The owner, Nacho was great! He set up all our wine tastings & lunches...and these were perfect!

Review 54:Nacho makes the most of your stay. His mother is a good cook and the place is peacefull and has everything you need.

Review 55:tranquillity of location Nacho and his family were exceedingly friendly and helpful

Review 56:No bad experiences it was great

Review 57:The owner was great. Meeting new people around the dinner table was great

Review 58:Ignazio was a perfect host and very knowledgable about the area

Review 59:Nacho was a great host and was so helpful. We liked it very much and felt like home.

Review 60:Ignacio and his staff are excellent and make sure your stay is wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Review 61:Best location for visiting the vineyards. Nacho is the best host ever. His knowledge and helpfulness makes this the best place to stay. Thanks again!

Review 62:Host's knowledge of the area and what to do. Mixed with and met other interesting guests over a bbq

Review 63:Everything! The manager is sooo helpful and friendly.

Review 64:Excellent hospitality!!! We enjoyed every moment there from all perspectives.

Review 65:This is an excellent place to stay if you are planning to visit the wineries in Lujan de Cuyo, Maipu, and even the Valle de Uco. First thing that makes this a great location is the owner, Nacho. He is extremely friendly, hospitable, and helpful. He arranged all of our taxis to the various vineyards and helped us with reservations for tastings and tours. Nacho goes above and beyond what one would expect. We enjoyed a wonderful typical Argentinean "asado" BBQ with Nacho and the other guests, one of our favorite memories.

Review 66:Our stay was too short

Review 67:Having made no plans for our two nights hear, Nacho organised fantastic days out for us. We even stayed in the hotel for our evening meals which were great, but the most special thing about that was how Nacho involved all guests, and we had such a lovely time meeting others staying at the hotel. They will make you feel welcome and take care of your needs, we only wished we stayed two days more there than the two days we spent in Mendoza city.

Review 68:Luan de Cuyo B&B is a wonderful place to stay and perfectly situated in the heart of the wine country. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and Nacho, his parents and Raphael are very welcoming hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Every morning we were served a delicious breakfast and were welcomed to join them for dinner every night if we wanted. The first night we experienced a delicious asado out on their patio. Nacho easily arranges any activity you want. He would drive us to a winery, bus stop, and had bikes delivered to us so we could ride through the wine and olive country. Nacho also arranged for us to be picked up so we could tour the Andes. They did their best to make sure we had a wonderful time. I don't think there is a better place to stay. It is a 10 in our opinion and very affordable.

Review 69:The location by a main road is a little noisy, quite a long walk to the bus stop,

Review 70:Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely food in the evenings, great big garden with pool, we had a very large suite of rooms. Good value for money.although Nacho organised bikes for us to hire on one day and local Bodego's were fairly close, as was the Golf Course!

Review 71:This place is a hidden gem! Nacho the owner was beyond helpful! He made reservations for us at wineries and provided insight on things to do etc. The location is unbeatable! The rooms are comfortable and clean. We arrived around dinner time on New Year's Day when everywhere was closed. When we arrived Nacho offered us a spot for dinner, which we accepted. Dinner was delicious, wine was great, and conversation with Nacho and the other guests was delightful. My new husband and I even went wine tasting and out to dinner with other couples at the B&B on subsequent nights. If you are looking for a simple, charming, hospitable place to stay, this is it!

Review 72:Definitely a great place to stay to see the Mendoza area. Nacho and his team made our stay just great; made dinner for us upon our late arrival, booked winery visits (couldnt have picked better) and guided us with everything; places to eat dinner and have drinks, scenary roads. No doubt I would recommend this B&B.

Review 73:Busy road. Would better with a car

Review 74:Nacho was a great host. Extremely helpful with planning and helping us during our stay. The rooms were great and we enjoyed the dinners, especially with the bottle of Malbec each night.

Review 75:The WiFi comes and goes, but doesn't it everywhere in Argentina? Hey, it's good to disconnect every now and again!

Review 76:From the outset, Nacho and his team (including his father) couldn't have done more to help guests arrive, feel at home, dine well, plan tours, and generally cater for any whim! The dogs are great!!

Review 77:Great little B&B in wine country. Nacho, Rafa and family (and of course the dogs) are extremely welcoming and knowledgable about the area, giving us ideas on which bodegas to visit, where to eat as well as other things to do. We were invited to eat with them every night, but there is no pressure to do so (though the cooking is superb, especially the asado!) If you want to chill out in a very relaxed place, and spend some time roaming the area, then I would highly recommend Lujan de Cuyo.

Review 78:I cannot say there was anything at all I disliked! very nice place to stay!

Review 79:this was a very nice oasis very near the wine route in Lujan de Cuyo. the location was perfect for bike rides to bodegas and also for accessing transportation to various excursions such as a trip into Mendoza City or up hwy 7 to Aconcagua. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, making very good suggestions for things to do and how to go about it. quiet, relaxing garden and pool area; fresh, excellent food and wine choices available at the B&B. the habitaciones were lovely block and timberframe with comfortable bed and nice furnishings. this is a very nice place to enjoy the wine country of Lujan de Cuyo.

Review 80:Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location for visits to nearby wineries. Rooms and common areas very clean and spacious. Great breakfasts and optional dinners were wonderful!

Review 81:The WiFi signal in our room was quite weak but it was fine in the breakfast room.

Review 82:When we made our booking Nacho immediately emailed us asking how he could make our stay more enjoyable. This shows how kindly he and his family treat their guests. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was a bodega booking, a taxi or the loan of the bus card, Nacho or Rafael was there to help. Dinner by the pool was excellent as was the asado on Thursday night. Yanet kept our room clean and tidy with regular fresh towels. Not a hotel, not a hostel but a true home-from-home.

Review 83:This was the best place that my sister and I stayed at in Argentina.Nacho was a superb host going above and beyond; he even came to collectus after we had an accident and translated for us the pharmacy, anothertime he helped translate at a vineyard. Nacho has vast knowledge of thelocal area including which vineyards are best, which have friendlyservice and good wines or not, he also made all our reservations for uswhich was invaluable. Lujan de cuyo is also the place to stay as this iswhere the majority and the best vineyards are located, so you can cycleto them. We met a couple who were staying in Mendoza city and had had tohire a car, they were also frustrated as their hotel had no knowledge ofany vineyards. Thank you Nacho for all your help, Nachos mother for awonderful dinner and Raphael for friendly service. We'll definitelystay at yours again when we return.

Review 84:We loved this B&B! From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed by Nacho. He organised all our itinerary to visit the vineyards over 4 days and they were all amazing! he picked a good mix of large and boutique vineyard. He also recommended us places for dinner and organised an Argentinean BBQ dinner one night. Location of the B&B is great, all the main vineyards are in Lujan de Cuyo. We were very happy we stayed with Nacho which made our visit to Mendoza unforgettable.

Review 86:Two of Nacho's dogs are young and still somewhat hyperactive. Nodoubt when they mature they will be calmer. Hopefully they will alsolearn to stop fouling in the garden! The pool could also be kept alittle cleaner.

Review 87:The best thing about this place are the people. Primarily Nacho, whoruns the B&B, and will do absolutely everything he can to makeyour stay enjoyable and comfortable. His English is excellent and hewill take time when you arrive to provide information regarding thearea and discuss which of the many wineries you might most enjoyvisiting. Soon after making my booking Nacho emailed me to ask ifthere was anything he could tell us ahead of our stay which I reallyliked, and having told him, he had already made provisionalarrangements for us! Nacho will also put on a dinner for you shouldyou require (and we were lucky enough to be staying on a Thursday, which meant we experienced his monumental asado). These dinners wereeaten on a large table in the garden with other guests and reallyprovided a fantastic opportunity to meet other guests and socialse thenight away over many bottles of excellent wine! This really was one ofour favourite experiences of the holiday! We stayed 2 nights and during our first night we were in the only room that did not have A/C, but were moved to a more modern room in the garden annex on the second night that did have air con. The second room was more comfortable and I will base this review on the latter. There was lots of space and the bathroom was large. We are used to staying at 4* hotels and whilst the rooms here are far more basic, the setting and friendliness more than makes up for it. The garden is large and very relaxing, and there is also a nice pool to use. You are also very nearby some excellent wineries and do not really need a car to visit (it is best to take a very cheap taxi to the first winery you visit, then walk to others). It is also well placed to visit the nearby foothills in the Andes, and many companies offer various activities you can participate in (hiking, rafting etc).

Review 88:-Stuff is very friendly and helpful -Very convenient location for travelers with car -Very nice barbecue arranged for guests

Review 89:staff was very kind and helpful

Review 90:The atmosfere. Very helpful. The privacy. The garden, the dogs. Breakfast. The location. The family is very hospitable.

The Fine Print

The outdoor swimming pool is fenced to protect the safety of small children staying at the property.
