Review 2：Everything,were greeted by very lively and helpful girl carol.lovely view from rooms.location is good if you want to enjoy the surroundings but if you want to roam around the town then you have to arrange your own transportation after 6 P.M. otherwise they offer their pick and drop services

Review 3：There isn't anything that I did not like about this hotel. But keep in mind the hotel is situated on a hill. So if you are arriving by train then the walk up to hotel is short but is a steep climb...about 35 floors. Very good exercise btw. If you don't want to walk/climb, call the hotel when you arrive and they will pick you up. They will also drive to you back to the promenade.

Review 5：Every thing. It is one of the best hotels i have stayed in europe. Location is the best with the balacony view. They have upgraded my rooms to jonior sweets and superior sweet. If i have to visit gstaad again this hotel will be my first choice if not the only choice. Regarding the hotel staaf, they are the best i have seen in europe. Super for a ski break - we had a car which is probably necessary for getting to the various ski areas but apparently there was a shuttle too

Hats off to Pedro, Wolfgang, Carole,Werner, Elizabeth, Jenny, Carolyn, Martine, Melanie, Celina and Antonio!And although we didn't meet any of the chefs, we'd love to thank them too for the excellent food and wine. There are many top-notch restaurants in Gstaad, but we were so impressed on our first night that we decided to eat and drink at Le Grand Chalet all four nights of our stay. The outstanding view of the mountains, the relaxing sauna and the quiet, peaceful ambience of the hotel was everything we hoped for when we planned our trip to Switzerland. It was sad to say goodbye to the friendly folks at Le Grand Chalet.

Review 67：The most observation is the Staff were so friendly. Nice place and since it is at the top, so very quiet place. It is good to spen two days for relaxation. They have nice meals for dinner.

Review 68：The single lane driveway was rather narrow and steep. It posed achallenge when a vehicle was coming in the other direction. It did notseem to make an elegant approach in keeping with the character of thehotel. The day we arrived was unusually warm and the room had not cooleddown when we were ready for bed. We asked for a fan but none wasavailable. It did cool off during the night and we were able to get agood night's sleep. We thought the prices for the room and the mealswere a bit high, but probably in keeping with prices in Gstaad.

Review 69：Someone greeted us as soon as we parked at the hotel entrance to helpwith our luggage. The woman at the front desk personally took us to ourroom and explained everything. The room and balcony were large. The viewwas great in all directions. The restaurant terrace was very attractive.The food was exceptional. The waitress offered to prepare eggs forbreakfast, in addition to the regular Swiss breakfast, which we enjoyedvery much.

Review 70：Hotel Le Grand was perfect from the minute we arrived. We were greeted warmly, and welcomed with a drink as we sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Alps. We were upgraded to a larger room which had a wrap-around balcony. We enjoyed the spa for some rest and relaxation, and then we dined in their incredible award winning restaurant. We had a magnifique time! We would love to go back again!
