Review 1：The kitchen and bar staff were a little unfriendly but we found this to be the same through all Bahia

Review 5：The staff in the bar were a tad ignorant, they seem to think whistling at clients to get their attention is acceptable behaviour, maybe it's cultural or just bad manners or a one off. If you've no car shops are a bit of a trek.

Review 6：Close to airport, beachfront, room with balcony facing the sea, great breakfast spread, excellent value for money, friendly and helpful management. Good communal areas around the pool.

Review 7：This pousada is located on Millionaires Beach. Rooms have balconies that look out to sea complete with hammocks to relax in. Luca (owner) has designed a beautiful garden and rooms and has paid attention to aesthetics. Staff (isabelle and allison) are incredibly helpful. The food (Ana) is excellent. Transportation into the town of Ilheus is relatively simple by taking a local bus. This is the place to come for relaxation in a beautiful place with friendly people, both pousada staff and guests alike. Mahalo Nui Loa!

Review 11：- Ilheus city could do with some refurbishment - Brazilians simply cannot resist to litter their beaches (like all public places)...but at least it's not as bad in Ilheus as it is at the Copacabana.

Review 21：Pousada dos Hibiscus is a terrific hide-away just off the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are plain and clean. The food offered is very well prepared, and the breakfast buffet is very good.

Review 22：Difficul to locate, the pousada's site doesn't even supply a map or GPS coordinates. In order to find it, one must speak Portuguese and ask around many times ;) It is supposedly located on the national road that drives from Ilheus southwards, in reality it is in a small parallel road and is poorly indicated..

Review 23：Lovely place, friendly atmosphere. You get a lovely bungalow, excellent breakfast, a swimming pool for kids and another for adults.

Review 24：The owner is wonderful and speaks English well, so he helped us plan day trips to see the area. The Pousada is very well kept, simple and elegant, sparkling clean and right off the beach. This is a wonderful, safe place for Americans to stay and experience the culture of Coastal Bahia. We were very comfortable and all the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Review 25：Risk of electric shock at shower. All showers are electric and there is no appropriate isolation on temperature regulator. The bathroom could be more comfortable.
