Reviews for Trinity House Inn
Review 1:Host was going through the motions. Room too small for two suitcases.
Review 2:Location was excellent. Music festival weekend so we really enjoyed our visit. Breakfast fresh and cook had lovely personality
Review 3:Room was very small private bathroom was down the hall not in the room Had to pay for breakfast but it was a B&b
Review 4:Beautiful Inn. Very welcoming and clean.
Review 5:We asked for a room with a private bathroom. The bathroom was down one hall and across another hall which looked down over the main entry. not that private for our liking and the room was very very tiny
Review 6:the staff was very friendly but owner not so much.
Review 7:Room wasn't good , felt like a walk in closet with a bed in it .Our private bathroom was down hall and across landing.
Review 8:The B+B was very close to center of town. The town is small ,easy to walk around.
Review 9:The ventilation in my room was a bit stale. Perhaps, ducts need checking. In the shared hallway bathroom, perhaps a basket for the wet towel would be appreciated. Be aware that three friendly small dogs inhabit the garden.
Review 10:This is a beautiful Inn with a beautiful hallway and many amenities. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The secluded garden area is large and lovely with a variety of chairs and tables surrounded by many flowers, trees and a fountain. The dining room and its veranda are exceptional. The WiFi signal was strong throughout the Inn. Each of the larger rooms have subtle themes, like stepping in a luxurious bygone era. I highly recommend dining here. The "table d'hote" was exceptional value and delicious.
Review 11:Location, staff, ease of access, "attitude" of the owner- friendly and fun to talk with; and his pets.! Location is ideal for "downtown" touring, a
Review 12:The wi fi was iffy. Breakfast was offered only for one hour in the morning, and not early enough.
Review 13:The Inn is near Main Street and a 10 minute walk to the water front and boat tour dock.
Review 14:Not a bad experience but dinner service was slow due to high volume of customers and only two staff plus chef to manage. They did it all with a smile and as we were in no hurry it was not a big issue but would be for anyone with time restraints.
Review 15:lovely decor, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were clean and quiet. Backyard area was simply beautiful. Menu was varied and food was delicious.
Review 16:We stayed in the Georgina room...Very small room, but worked for us for one night stay. Note:the private Washroom is located outside the room across the hall (also not a problem for us,but would not recommend for an older couple).
Review 17:Beautiful heritage home with friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Great walking distance from bars and restaurants. Breakfast on the covered porch was great!
Review 18:Nice decor in common areas and in the rooms, beautiful garden, cozy veranda in front of the house, convenient parking, restaurant quality breakfast, friendly staff. Location is great, close to the river and park, close to Ivy Lea boats to visit 1000 Islands or Boldt castle.
Review 19:The bed linen had clearly not been changed, fresh blood stains and creased. We found clean linen and had to change it ourselves. When we complained we were met with denial and then unbelievable excuses.
Review 20:Location
Review 21:We were shown the annexe above the ice cream parlour. Property was in poor state of repair. Cracks in walls and ceiling, exposed pipe work in bathroom. Because we booked online we had to pay full amount even though we never stayed at this property. Check out the rooms first before you part with any money
Review 22:The Price Regent room where we stayed might be the most luxurious suite in the house. The room - being in the basement - is cold while A/C is running and the dehumidifier noise might bother some; so while not for everyone, the coolness in the heat of summer, the privacy and the fascinating & lovely decor made up for it. I felt special and honoured to stay in this room. The emergency exit - our private escape - could use some work.
Review 23:A wonderfully old but updated, nostalgic and comfortable house; perfectly located with a very short walk to town or docks; very friendly and accommodating proprietor and staff. Excellent dining!
Review 24:Stairs to the basement suite but railings were sturdy and steps not too far apart from each other. Bit pricy $$
Review 25:Prince Regent Suite in basement is BEAUTIFUL with a separate bar/lounging area/ separate large bathroom including spa tub and a separate shower. Toilet in separate small room. Fabulous relaxing atmosphere in an Inn setting. Nice gardens with patio for drinks or reading etc. very nice setup for dining. Indoors or on enclosed veranda. Excellent food. many homey touches. easy 5 min drive to the Gananoque Boat line.
Review 26:Advertised as Bed and Breakfst but breakfast extra charge. Picket overall. Some gs smell from kitchen below.
Review 27:Spotlessly clean,friendly staff,good location.
Review 28:The location of my room I could hear all noises coming from the kitchen, and some of the odours. Although very hot, I would have liked to open window ( screen very dirty) wide. Could only prop it open a little. Room was Aubrey. Price was a little high.
Review 29:The owner is very nice. I felt safe. He explained the safety there and keys in/out so that was a plus. Nice old place, close to Main Street in town and a 5 min, walk to lake. Room was clean, bathroom too. Bed comfy.
Review 30:Jack is very nice, the breakfast is very delicious (hand-made, potatoes, sausages, eggs, muffins, marmelade etc...) !

Review 32:Period features and helpfulness of staff. Excellent continental breakfast.

Review 54:Everything
Review 55:The Inn was charming and the host was gracious. Had a lovely stay, the patios and seating areas were beautiful.
Review 56:Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Clean. Enjoyed breakfast. Great coffee. The house was much quieter and private than I expected it to be. This was my first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast, and I thought it was great Overall, we were very pleased with our weekend stay at the Trinity House Inn.
Review 57:Having to pay for breakfast. I thought I was booking a B & B which where I come from is bed and breakfast. But I now realize that this was Trinity House Inn and it does not say B&B.
Review 58:Our room was very nice. Large comfortable beds. Very clean with a large old fashion tub and shower. We enjoyed sitting on the front veranda with a glass of wine taking in the scenery.
Review 59:There wasn't anything we didn't like. No suggestions, no opportunities for improvement. We had a lovely evening.
Review 60:I had my birthday dinner in the restaurant, and it was the nicest occasion ever! The staff were so warm and welcoming, which translated to the other diners (complete strangers) singing "Happy Birthday" to me. The meal itself was a joy - we started with the soup which was incredible, my husband's rack of lamb was cooked to perfection and my duck breast salad was exquisite. I shouldn't have had dessert, but who can resist warm berry crumble and creme brulee? Not us! The small touches - herbed butter, fresh bread, perfect coffee - rounded it out to a nicety. And then, to go up to our lovely room, was just perfect. I think this will be my birthday treat for a long time to come. Thank you!
Review 61:mis -matched furniture. Bed not very comfortable. Exposed wires and pipes in the lock up[suite] Shower/bath surrounded by plastic curtain. We thought too expensive for the condition of the suite.
Review 62:The gardens
Review 63:Needed 7 day advance cancellation, Room so small, enter the room looked for the washroom, opened one closet door found a petite 2 piece, opened the other closet found a shower stall. The flat screen TV was 14 ", no air, loud above fan, not sound proof rooms. Not sure it was worth the money. Would recommend Gananoque, don't stay at the Trinity.
Review 64:Management very nice, our breakfast great. Very clean
