Review 1：Very nice place in a center, few steps from Danube river. We received a bottle of wine as we've been guests for NY Eve. It was very nice suprise. Pleasent personel and good breakfast and coffee. Highly recommeded

Review 2：Unfotunately the hotel is not disabled friendly with no lift access to the various floors. There are steps to the main doors, and then steps to the upperfloor bedrooms and to the lower floor restaurant and bar. Though there are some bedrooms on the main floor. I did ask about lift access and was told that as the building is a historical building alterations for a lift could not be made. On another more general note about the town in general. The mosquitos in Vidin can be horrid, so take plenty of repellant in the warmer months.

Review 3：A beautiful hotel, well decorated, spotlessly clean roomy rooms, clean bathrooms, shiny tiles (no grubby grouting etc). On the edge of a lovely park which borders the Danube (fabulous early morning walk with the autumn mists lifting from the river). It was too late in the year for us to use the swimming pool, but we could see that it would be a lovely deep pool (none of this chest high only swimming). The food in the restaurant was top notch, the service was attentive, as an example as soon as the waitress noticed that we were sharing our starters, extra plates were brought out. The reception staff and porters were willing to do anything asked of them (within reason of course) and were full of information about the area. There seemed to be an English speaking member of staff on somewhere in the building at all times, so any queries were soon dealt with.

Review 5：We had a downstairs room overlooking the car park. It was very noisy with cars and could also hear everything in reception. Next time we will ask for a room overlooking the Danube.

Review 6：This is a great hotel in a lovely location. We ate in the lobby bar which wasn't great so would recommend the hotel restaurant instead. Despite the room being noisy we will be back again.

Review 7：We have arrange 1 apartment for 3 persons and one single standard room. The apartment is only for 2 not for 3 persons. On the sofa is not possible to sleep any body. The matrace of the soffa is only 10cm. we feel the material on my back.

Review 9：This is a lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff who helped us get settled and find a place to store our bicycles. The rooms were lovely and very welcome after several days on the road staying at lesser accommodations. I would highly recommend this place to fellow travellers.

Review 11：Wonderful location on the banks of the Danube. This part of Vidin is lovely with plenty of historical monuments to see and parks to walk in. The staff at the hotel are very attentive and friendly. Perfect location for the Vidin bridge if you are travelling. Overall a good stay and I will be back.

Review 18：We got one of the top floor rooms, and it was huge. We travelled with 2 dogs, and they don't feel comfy in typical little rooms, so this was a big plus! Another plus was the airconditioning in the middle of summer. It was very hot outside.

Review 28：The hotel is located inside the city park and near the river! We had one of the VIP apartments and it was superb! Staff is very helpful and cheerful. Хотелът се намира в самия парк, съвсем близо до реката. Ползвахме ВИП апартамент, който беше невероятен. Персоналът беше много любезен и усмихнат. Съдействаха ни с всичко, от което имахме нужда.

Review 30：Good coffee...good sach(traditional dish)...nice room, super view of the Danube...staff was heplfull...good location to visit the wonderfull rocks from Belogradchick (33 km and Unesco monuments Magura Cave (16 km) and Romuliana (35 km - Serbia).

Review 31：I had choosen this hotel because of the swimmingpool. I was very dissapointed because on 30.05.2015, 31.05.2015, 01.06.2015 the swimming pool was not ready to use. I asked at the reception and the receptionist told us in the winter swimmingpool is closed and the first day for use is first june but it was not.

Review 33：This time we had a smaller, more modern room. We didn't like the lighting as you have to have all lights on and they are operated from near the bathroom or from one of the beds. Would be much better to have dual control and if you could switch off the main light. Also, two wall lights did not work as the bulbs had gone. Bed was OK but the pillows were really uncomfortable.

Review 41：Loads of TV channel choice but no BBC or Sky News channels The music systems in the bar seemed to have a preference for techno trance music much of which older visitors would have rated as dreadful...................Their music library did have some varied pop content which was occasionally played. Quite a bit of the meat menu featured sauces which were just like very salty gravy. I got the feeling although traditional that this might have been as the veal, beef and pork might have been of not very good quality. Chicken and fish, especially the trout was very good. The brakfast could have done with a menu when the full buffet table was not provided.

Review 56：This is just an average hotel that is overpriced for the area. The breakfast was very poor and there was an awfull greasey smell all the time. This hotel has a MAJOR problem with mosquitoes in the outside areas we were badly bitten on the first night and on the second night the local council sprayed all the park area with some kind of insecticide that affected your breathing and made the problem even worse and we were VERY badly bitten causing us to book out of the hotel a night earlier than planned, and have to make arrangements to move away. I would NOT recomend staying at this hotel.

Review 109：This is an excellent hotel for the price. Breakfast was excellent although get down early as some choices were finished by 9 a.m. and hot choices had gone cold. The restaurant is good value and excellent, even on a Monday evening the BBQ was going. We will stay here again.

Review 112：I have a certain experience in bulgarian hotels, and I know that very often appereance is much different than substance. This is abso;utely not the case of this hotel: a wonderful location in a special building (turkish bath) perfectly rebuilt with good taste and, what is really out of bulgarian standards, perfectly mantained. This hotel could be assessed with one more star much more than several 4stars hotels that I visited in Bulgaria.
