Review 1：the list is endless. the staff are kind, considerate and caring. The rooms are comfortable, and the grounds magical. The food is exquisite. Second visit, and not my last.

Review 2：But, there was something slightly off with the service. Everyone was friendly and meant well, but we had several issues with the service over the course of our 2 night stay, which for a property like this, is not cool. Our drinks got lost our first night waiting for dinner, things took too long to come (1 hour wait for egg dish at brunch!) and some servers lacked basic knowledge of the menu. Timing was too long at each meal - have to wonder if it's done on purpose.

Review 7：The hotel radiates classy old world feeling. It is very inviting and elegant. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. Our room, king suite, was super spacious with nice touches such as water and welcome chocolates. Our dinner at Wilks was exceptional, as well as a rich breakfast in the morning.

Review 10：Dirty, used slippers which were discretely brought to the attention of a staff member at the front desk who didn't handle the situation well: said a fresh pair would be delivered to the room and they weren't. We were there on a Christmas package, which included two meals, but were presented with a bill for dinner on the second night. Good think I was paying attention and had that corrected. Turn down service on second night was subpar as in they did not turn down beds or leave water or chocolates in one of our two rooms and did not remove dirty glasses; at breakfast on the second morning, the waitress and hostess did not handle it well when our group grew from two to four. Had to ask for more coffee.

Review 11：A warm welcome. Most staff did their utmost to make the experience of staying at Langdon Hall first class. The food was delicious. The walking trails enjoyable.

Review 12：I felt that the evening meal in the dining room was expensive and the service while pleasant was slow and the buffet breakfast was weak as dishes were not replenished in a timely fashion and for a busy weekend perhaps more staff was needed.

Review 14：I booked the executive stable suite for my boyfriend and I, as a surprise for him. We turned up in scruffy clothes, carrying pizza boxes. Next time, we're definitely going to dress up a bit more. It's such a fancy place. Our room was essentially a house. Everything in there was beautiful. The grounds and facilities are astonishing. The bed is the comfiest either of us have ever slept on. 10/10.

Review 16：Service was great. The grounds are lovely and the surrounding area is great for longer cycling trips. The tennis court was always available and the pool area was beautiful. Our loft space was tastefully decorated and of generous size.

Review 18：We didn't like that the room was not properly cleaned and there appeared to be mouse droppings on the floor in our room. For nearly 500.00 a night in fees this was unacceptable. As well, there was construction going on all day right outside our room. We were not advised of this and it spoiled the whole ambiance of the stable loft area. The workers left their equipment blocking our gate entrance. The radio was playing all day long etc etc
