Review 1：A bit far not in a walk able distance from the harbor.

Review 2：This is the old style English architecture which is located not far from central Gananoque (2 Km.) . The facility is very good with plenty of parking are. Breakfast is also OK.

Review 9：Bed was not comfortable at all. The decor etc very outdated, in need of an overhaul. AC switched off overnite and came back on in the am...made iVERY uncomfortable to relax and sleep..

To beginwith, I had to kill 4 flies in the room before even getting settled in.The smell was musty, the carpet gross, the sheets didn't fitproperly so we were fighting them all night, the mattress pad slide downabout 12", couldn't see T.V. from the bed, spider webs in thewindows with an array of trapped insects. And this was an upgradeddeluxe king room. What a joke! We need a refund.

Review 23：Just outside of town so wonderfully quiet, but still close enough to anything you want. The pool was actually open until 10pm which never happens anywhere else! Other places assume you don't want to use facilities after supper.

Review 43：The room was small and stuffy. Expensive for what we received. The website for booking stated a free breakfast. To me that would mean a full breakfast with choices. It was a continental breakfast with non nutritious white bread products such as toast and bagels and some sugar laden muffins and cereals. What does someone like myself who does not eat refined flours and processed cereals eat? There was yogurt and then a small basket of green unappetizing apples and small dried out oranges. On check out I told the staff person my complaint about breakfast and she said they do have some gluten free products. I only needed to ask. How was one to know that and it was not about the gluten but wheat products and the false advertising. It would not take much to have a hot plate of scrambled or boiled eggs along with a meat choice. Some quality cheese and FRESH fruit salad. Some specialty teas. Small containers of yogurt instead of a large bowl to dish some out of. Have appetizing fruit. Fruit is in season at the moment. watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches and so on. The staff was cleaning the table next to us with a big plastic basin full of dirty dishes. You have a lovely dining room but I do not feel you are using it to its potential. This area needs a total overhaul. From the food to the staff. The room was just a room. Nothing special. For the price we paid it was not worth it. We were willing to pay a bit more because we thought we would have a full breakfast which did not occur. My suggestion is to contract out the restaurant part of the experience. Lots of work required in this area. Good luck and I will see improvement next year I hope.

Review 44：The location and the layout of the property is beautiful. It has mature trees and lots of space. We came here once before when my daughter was little and we enjoyed the outdoor pool and on a cooler day the indoor pool.

Review 45：Room was small, stinky, no fan in a washroom so made it sticky and gross, towels were like kitchen rugs and bedding and beds horrible, window AC so loud.. Not my style or comfort at all..definitely not three star, hardly two or one I would give.

Review 57：The indoor pool was closed for the day/evening we were there which is unfortunate with young children as that is one of them main criteria for booking a hotel - that it has an indoor pool. Fortunately the weather was great and the kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. The "décor" is somewhat dated - might appeal to seniors and perhaps that is more the target clientele? Young parents with children often like something a little more "modern". I think most would consider the "Spa" area with the abundance of plastic flowers/plants/little creatures somewhat "over" done.... might be time to upgrade the "look" of that.

Review 58：The Family room worked very well for us with 3 adults and 2 young children. The property was great for kids as well - not too close to the road, lots of grass and green space. The Continental Breakfast was great as well.

Review 60：this is my third stay and I find the rooms to clean and comfortable. For a motel it has excellent amenities such as indoor, outdoor pools, games room, bar (even though I don't drink) and very helpful and accommodating staff

The bathroom area was directly across from the bed area, not appropriate and there was a foul smell coming from the sink drain area in the bathroom. Did not make the stay comfortable.

The room was very small, no table or chairs. They unpacked and made the best of a bad situation. Half hour later, my room was ready, it had 2 double beds, a table and chairs and I am single. My friends were charged for a double room, but did not get a refund because the owners were not there. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends.
