Hotel Bären enjoys a quiet location in the car-free Wengen, just 1,150 feet from the Train Station, offering views of the Jungfrau Mountain and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The restaurant serves seasonal cuisine, and free WiFi is available.
All rooms are accessible by a lift and have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and an electric kettle. Ski equipment can be stored at a reserved ski storage space at the cable car station.
There is a playground, a playroom and a ping-pong table. You can also make use of tablet computers, and there is a vending machine for drinks at the Bären Hotel.

Review 1：We stayed for four days at the Hotel Baren in September, 2015 in two superior double rooms with balconies. We received excellent service from the moment we arrived. We arrived quite late in the evening and were so grateful that they kept the restaurant open late so we could have dinner. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable, with breathtaking views of the mountains. Breakfast was excellent and the staff so sweet and kind. They made fresh rolls and croissants for us. The hotel is a short walking distance from the train and they sent a shuttle for us for our luggage.
Review 2：The hotel staff was most helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The food was excellent. Breakfast was included in our package and is normally served from 8AM. We had to leave for Jungfrau in the morning at 7:15 and so they packed breakfast to go early that morning. Will definitely consider staying there again.
Review 3：Roadside bedroom was on the small side for 2 adult size teenage children. If we had known we would have booked 2 balcony rooms with views of the mountains.

Review 5：Excellent service, rooms were fantastic, Wengen is beautiful with loads of hiking routes. We had 2 rooms and was able to close the door to our rooms so it became a private suite. Wonderful! The restaurant was also excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful. Would go back any day!
Review 6：No ac no fan!! How to sleep with family keeping windows open? Had leftbathroom door open for ventilation and found an insect in the morning.It was very hot one night and really my kid struggled to sleep.However, the weather imporved and it was much cooler then. But ac orfan is a must.
Review 7：Excellent breakfast, nice rooms with mountain view, very very helpfuland knowledgeable staff from a tourist point of view and very close tothe Wengen station. They even came to pick us from the raliway when wearrived late in the night. We enjoyed the stay very much and willdefinitely go back to them. Highly recommended.
Review 8：Record-breaking heat when we were there, and a west-facing balcony room. Short but steep uphill walk to the village. Downhill on the way back at the end of the day though!

Great attention to detail, providing adapter in room for Worldwide plugs and digital radio with iPod connection. Great variety at breakfast (hot & cold). We would definitely stay again if we should return to Wengen
Review 15：We visited Hotel Baren on our honeymoon and received a very warm welcome. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The dinner was outstanding! Very good choices and a discount for guests staying at the hotel. It was a great base for exploring the insanely beautiful region. Next time we come to Wengen, we will definitely visit again. Review 16：The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a beautiful view with a balcony. The complimentary breakfasts were wonderful, including coffee with steamed milk. We also had dinner there a handful of times, which was also excellent, specializing in local game. We could easily travel to Jungfrau and many trails from the hotel. The trail down to Laurerbrunnen was especially pleasant. We highly recommend Hotel Baern.
