Reviews for Auberge Cap aux Corbeaux

Review 1:No tea & coffee facility in the room, however there was a small kitchen facility downstairs where one could make a drink, then carry it upstairs to the room.- not the best way to get your first cup of tea! Decor a bit dated, not as good as the photos looked. I thought we had our own balcony, but you don't!

Review 2:The view from the room is lovely! The breakfasts are very nice, and other reviewers comments stand up on that score

Review 3:We found the bed hard, but we are used to our own memory foam bed, so we are spoiled.

Review 4:Amazing view, quiet and convenient. Very friendly staff and great breakfast.

Review 5:I chose this Inn based on reviews and I was very happy with it in every respect. It is a bit of a drive out of town in lovely surroundings which is just what we wanted, it was relaxed and very clean. The peace was only occasionally broken by a passing ship or the resident goats bleating about something or other! The hosts were charming and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Couldn't ask for much more really.

Review 6:Nothing.

Review 7:Location away from the town of Baie St Paul was a plus for us even though we didn't have a car and had to pay a $20 taxi fare each way from the bus stop. We relaxed in a most beautifully decorated room, found an amazing restaurant nearby and walked through beautiful countryside. Owners served delicious breakfast at reasonable price and were friendly and welcoming. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Canada from Australia.

Review 8:We stayed in room #4 on lower level and there was a "hum" noise which interrupted our sleep for the two nights that we stayed and it was not a hum of the refigerator as we unplugged it. No air conditioning was available but it was not needed as the temperature was not excessive and the breeze in through the big windows was comfortable.

Review 9:The friendliness of the staff and the view and location were spectacular. This Auberge was very welcoming, clean

Review 10:La vue, le déjeuner, le calme

Review 11:Nothing

Review 12:Everything was good

Review 13:Simplicity and clean. Breakfast View

Review 14:everything around was just what we were looking for.

Review 15:Beds are very firm and I mean "firm"

Review 16:The view was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful

Review 17:- a bit pricey and breakfast is excluded

Review 18:- Amazing view on St.Lawrence river from the B&B - Helpful owner - Free laundry

Review 19:No coffee making machine in the room as advertised. Breakfast not included as I was made to believe. Liqueur license to strict to my liking. Could not consume a nice bottle of wine in the front room with a nice view. Rommel small for the price

Review 20:The scenery

Review 21:The room is called a garden room but does not have access to it, which is a great shame. The garden is off limits to the guests, sadly.

Review 22:Very friendly owners are relaxed and professional. They can offer advice on hiking, walking, etc in the area. Breakfast changed the two mornings I enjoyed it, fresh and homemade. My room, number 1, was on the lower ground floor, the same level as the garden. It was spacious and comfortable. It looked on to the garden which hosted two sheep a the time and it was wonderful to hear them every now and again. The views from the terrace upstairs, off the breakfast room, are spectacular. I enjoyed a wonderful sunset there. The B&B is high above the bay, off a quiet road, so the location is quiet. Just a short drive to the bay, or onto other villages in the countryside. A beautiful area.

Review 23:The view of the St Lawrence River was amazing. Very nice deck to sit outside and a nice inside sun room both with views of the St Lawrence River. Breakfast was good and included in the stay.

Review 24:The view of the St Lawrence was wonderful. The rooms and general areas were outstanding. The breakfast was superb. All in all a wonderful stop on our journey to the Saguenay.

Review 25:The view, the view and the view the fact that we could be close tonature and walk near the hotel and on l'île aux Coudres The interioris beautiful - it is a lovely place for a romantic interlude close tonature and not too far from Quebec City

Review 26:Good breakfast; Stunning views in all rooms of hotel; Helpfull staff with good information and tips about environment; Close to city with enough options to eat and to do; Close to great nature and leisure options.

Review 27:I enjoyed the excellent breakfast and certainly liked the view of the St Lawrence river and mountains. The skiing at Le Massif was also very good and only a short drive to the resort.

Review 28:The view from the balcony is breathtaking.

Review 29:Owner Pierre was very friendly and spoke good english unlike other staff who had limited english. Views from the Auberge were stunning.
