Reviews for Nipika Mountain Resort

Review 1:Everything was perfect. The location, the staff, the cabins, the surrounding environment ... It is the perfect place to be. You don't need to go anywhere been there. It's the perfect place to enjoy with your couple, family and/or friends (and of course your pets ;) ) It was one of the best experiences we'd in our travel along the rockies.

Review 2:The one thing that should be improved on the most is signage. We had friends meeting us at the cabin after dark and were delayed for quite some time due to inadequate resort signage. Their GPS even took them to the owner's personal home which is quite a distance away. If it wasn't for a very nice resident of Radium who drew a detailed map on a napkin, they likely wouldn't have found it. In my opinion, Settler's Road is very dangerous to be taking after dark, in the winter. There are a couple of very large ravines which have sharp bend turns. We also had someone that passed us very dangerously and almost hit the ditch. My biggest recommendation is to put a resort sign on highway 93. Also, the resort is often advertised as an Invermere resort which is deceiving. The town of Invermere is some 30km away. This definately won't deter us from going again. I'm just warning people to do their homework on the location as even the Settler's Road park signs were covered in snow and dirt.

Review 3:If you want a place where you can turn off all of your electronics and totally unwind, this is it. We brought my dad here for his 64th birthday and he absolutely loved it. The wooden fireplace, rustic cabin, and view were perfect in every way. There is no cell service which was perfectly fine with us. If you want to stay connected to your everyday life, this is not the place for you. Book reading, board games, hikes, food, and conversation were our primary activities. We are looking forward to going back in the summer when we can truly experience the extensive trail systems that this location has to offer. Loved it!!!

Review 4:The website should be a little more informative and they should really describe how wonderful the area is and the hike paths!!
