Review 2：Rubbish hotel. Inferior rooms dirty uncomfortable bed overared due to lack of any decent accomodation in Douala. We moved to hotel la falise fir the rest of our stay. Much nicer.

Review 3：Staff were rude, food was bad, needs to be refurbished. However this is still the best place to stay should you need to stay in Douala.

Review 5："Someone" changed my booking without telling me. Although the rate was lowered to reflect a different room, they also took breakfast out of the rate and I landed up paying as much for a lower class of room as for the original higher class room. The street side of the hotel is extremely noisy. Service at the pool bar was slow and poor. I was given the wrong departure time of the airport shuttle and had issues when I arrived late bus The hotel is allegedly in the process of being upgraded but the room I was assigned had definitely seen better days. The solution they had for the fact that that the socket for the bedside lamps didnt work was simply to plug them in on the other side of the room! Not very helpful at all There are much better hotels in Douala.

Review 24：Carpets smelled very bad and furniture was very dated and smelled of old oak trees which irritated my nose. I had no minibar fridge which was very strange. Beds were not comfortable and airconditioning was also a bit faulty. The air in my room was also stale. I couldnt believe in 2014 internet in the rooms was only accesible via an ethernet cable. I have a new macbook which doesnt have a LAN port so had to purchase an expensive USB LAN convertor in order to utilise the sub standard internet.
