Review 1：Slow internet, pillows smelled. I got a room for three people, it cost more than room for two. My third person was not able to make it. I ask for the two person rate. They said not possible. The room was identical to the room for two people. It cost me 120 reals per day, for the additional person why so much? Same size room as two person. I will most likely not be returning to this hotel. Also, lot of mosquitos on this island. Bring lots of repellant.

Review 3：Not a lot that I didn't like, but if I were to comment I think it would be, no coffee/tea making facilities in rooms and bathroom slightly on small side.

Review 4：The size of the room and balcony was big an close to a small but popular beach. The location of the pool was great (directly across) from the hotel which had a long pier with wooden sun chairs.

Review 5：Bedding below average Wi-fi very poor, even with little hotel occupancy. many relays but none of them satisfactory. Refurbishment underway, some rooms are still "oldy"

Review 7：Booked online for a price, they charged me $80 more when I arrived in person to check in, Horrible couch at suite master, wifi works really bad at this hotel, yellow/brown water when jacuzzi tub was filled, severe mosquitoes (borrachudos) Dengue alert...Pillows smells horrible, natural waterfall pool was under contruction looks ugly, no coffee before 8am at all, no place to buy nothing around the hotel other than driving to the city, hotel does not provide any vendor machine at all, they over charged my room 4x for items not consumed (beware) , only 1 person speaks English.

Review 9：Nothing really working in the hotel. Out of 4 plugs only one worked. The light in the bathroom didn't work. The moscito-net in front of the window has a 2cm gap so it's useless. The window was broken so you couldn't close it.

Review 11：The restaurant is outside the hotel in the swimming pool area. The food is quite expensive in there and in small amounts. Cocktails same thing. I had dinner in town most of the time. And the private beach was quite dirty aswell they should look after it better.

Review 13：Poor Breakfast, No comom sense by the receptionist. Had to Pay 30% more at the Hotel for my little girl of 4 year old to sleep. also Brougth a nice champagne to comemorate my anirversary with my wife and could not able to drink eventhougt I had spent money at the pool bar with ffod and other drinks. Not value for money at all.

Review 15：Staff very rude, unpolite, they dont know a bit about the concept of Customer Service. The treatment I received from the staff its the worse in Brazil, specially the one at reception. Also, the WiFi didnt work and they didnt care to fix it. Definetly the worst hotel in Brazil regarding Customer Service

Review 23：little negative points: the hot water in the shower that takes 5-10min to warm up, mornings can be quite noisy because the doors dont close properly (3 cm in the bottom are open), mosquitos at night ( probably the same problem in all hotels of ilhabela), the service at the bar was very slow, but it's only little details that don't affect the quality of the stay!

Review 24：The hotel was AMAZING !! the pool is located on the beach, with an incredible sea view, the private beach is really nice, the architecture of the hotel is beautiful, with gardens, rivers, etc. There is a room with ping pong, billard and a gym. The Breakfast (until 11am) was excellent, cakes, breads, frutes, eggs, juices, all super fresh and delicious! The staff working at the desk, breakfast or cleaning is extremely polite and nice. We highly recommend this hotel, probably the best on the island! We added one night at the last minute so much we enjoyed our stay! Simply the most beautiful place i've visited !

Review 53：Perhaps more detailed information on local activities (especially walks) and local attractions on display in lobby. For example it was only a chance remark that lead to information on the samba dancing in the evening. Some walks to waterfalls said a guide was needed but we chose one that didn't. Getting to the waterfall on public transport was a bit of a mission if you didn't speak any Portuguese. Only 20 taxis and 1 bus per hour passing the hotel meant careful organisation was needed to get anywhere if you weren't prepared to walk. More buses on during busy tourist times? We were there at Easter!

Review 54：Calibre and quality of staff was great. Helpful and friendly. Design of building incorporating natural features (huge rocks) was ingenious. Enjoyed location by the beach and proximity of pool to beach. Breakfasts were great - Brazilian specialities blended with overseas visitors needs. Rooms comfortable, well appointed and maintained well.

Review 62：We rented a suite, which had a jacuzzi tub and balcony. The price was reasonable, and parking was right near the entrance to the suite. The location of the hotel is great, as it's a bit further from the centre. As a result, there is more privacy and it's not as crowded, even on busy weekend days.

Review 74：Incredible location, the deck is just perfect! The little river running through the hotel garden gives an incredible atmosphere. The breakfast cake is amazing and they prepare scrambled eggs individually. It's a very well managed hotel.

Review 76：It's located just in front of the Viana Beach which has water just like crystal, and there was a very famous restaurant next it. You can also have a wonderful travelling even without car. From the balsa, you can take a bus which is pass by Praia Armaçao, and the bus will stop just in front of the hotel. You can also take a taxi to Vila that will cost R$20 only. There are varies restaurants and bars.

Review 77：Difficult to communicate with staff (communication issue) Despite the hotel was empty they first gave us a room far from the entrance After we complained about not being able to close the window, they decided to move us to another room, closer to the entrance but the curtains were smelling pee I hope the attention is better in other seasons.
