Reviews for Gite TerreCiel
Review 1:The owner is very friendly. He accommodated us in serving breakfast earlier that his normal hours as we had to leave early that morning. The place is well located and very clean.
Review 2:The bedding and pillows could go up notch in quality.
Review 3:I liked many things about this place like the delicious, locally sourced breakfasts and the friendly dog Benoit but by far the greatest thing was the warm welcome of our host David. He is the gold standard of inn keepers as far as I'm concerned.
Review 4:This place was so nice: a warm welcome by Dave, including explanations about activities and where to find what in town; we felt welcomed and home quite from the beginning. The breakfast was extraordinairy: freshly baked bread, self made blueberry pancakes served by Dave and a great chat to other guests in the cosy dining room. At night time a fire is set up in the garden and everyone can join for a chat or to watch the stars in the sky. Clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped rooms make this place the perfect stay which is so positively different to all the other experiences one has when travelling.
Review 5:The B&B does not have a/c, and the first night was quite hot and steamy. The second night was much more comfortable. Can't really fault them for not having a/c in Canada!
Review 6:Danielle was an absolute delight! She made us feel completely welcome, even did a small load of laundry for us to get us to the end of our trip.
Review 7:David was a warm and accommodating host, who makes delicious breads, pancakes and serves local cheeses and meats.
Review 8:After our winter visit we had to see it in summer. We were not disappointed. David is so welcoming and the breakfast is amazing. Nice new bed!
