Review 1：I've never before had the opportunity to stay in a hotel that disregarded the do not disturb sign that was left on the door to indicate that the room did not yet need cleaning!
Review 2：I liked very much that we were able to stay as close as we did to the mall. It was a great experience.
Review 3：Parking...if I'm booking a room to sleep in my car needs a place to sleep too. You either offer parking exclusively for guests (paid or free, but guests only) or you cut the rate of the room by 15% for inconvenience. 6 light bulbs in the room, 33% didn't work. $1.50 for water? This is the Edmonton Inn, not the Hilton. If you don't offer a bell boy, there isn't enough upper crust to charge for water. Toilets are built too far into the wall. You cant open the lid without it falling. Holding the lid with one and holding the shooter with the other is just annoying.

Review 18：We did not enjoy that to rent movies in our room it cost us $17.99. We also did not appreciate the fact that house keeping knocked on our door three times at 9am. When arrived in our room I would like to mention that the window was wide open and freezing even with the heat blasted.

Review 24：I didn't think it was worth what the room cost. I could hear people through the walls at 6 am and the sleep was terrible. Pipes or a.c was banging loudly almost every hour
Review 25：During our stay, there was an incident in the parking lot just outside our window at 02:30 am that lasted until 04:00 am. There were no less than 6 police cars with lights flashing. From our observation hotel guest where involved and at least one person arrested. Due to this incident there was a hotel guest's dog that was barking continuously. Resulting in our getting no sleep. In the morning we commented to the front desk about what had happened. The clerk was not aware that anything had happened and the night clerk had not reported any incident. The clerk told us we should have called when the incident was happening. As the Police where there in force, I had not seen a reason for me to call. I was amazed that the night clerk could not have known about what had happened. The clerk did give us a small discount, however I still felt I should inform the manager, I left two detailed voice mail for the manager. I never received a call back.
Review 26：Those working at the front desk were not happy to be there and visibly annoyed by guests. Despite repeated calls about ensuring we could checkin early, we were suddenly told when we arrived that we would have to pay an extra $100; this should have been made clear in our earlier calls.

It was no big deal until they stayed in the lobby for at least half hour talking, laughing and yelling. Clearly the staff did not think to tell them to take it to their room or to even be quiet as our rooms are right there.

Many international guest drink both tea and coffee. Breakfast staff not particularly friendly. Front entry and lift carpets unclean but renovations are occurring so dirt is probably walked in. Renovations did not effect my quality of stay.

Review 97：It was a complete JOKE that this hotel was open during renovations. We got a room facing south, which the outside, was completely under renovations. The workers started at 6 a.m. on Saturday, when we had just gotten to bed at 4 a.m. Us staying out late is not you concern, but 6 a.m.? On a Saturday? The workers, up on scaffolding were RIGHT outside our 2nd floor window. I thought I was in a dream. With our curtains open, 3 men could see RIGHT inside. Can we talk about invasion of privacy? I think we're still in shock that that's where they were working. Why would that room even be rented out?! The lobby also stunk like "fart" for lack of a better word. It was GROSS! The air conditioner was SO loud, and although it "ran", our room was an oven.
