Review 1：There are few things that lowered the score, they may not be big ones and each of them separately would not bother me too much, but taken together have an impact on our opinion. 1) We checked in on 2nd Jan and even though the check in time was listed as 2 pm and we arrived after 2:30 our room was not ready. We had to wait until after 3:30 pm. The staff explained it was due to too many people leaving after New Year, but that issue is easily to be forecasted and taken care of. In this case we came from Pattaya and it wasn't a big deal, but if you are arriving from Europe after long flight that could be pretty disturbing. 2) The bathroom had 2 doors and could be accessed from both the bedroom and the big living room, which also had 2 beds. That was perfect, however it turned out the lower part of the doors is not made of solid material but reminds partially turned shades (I guess for ventilation purposes). The result was that whoever goes to the bathroom the rest of the people in any of the 2 rooms can hear everything. It was also disturbing during the night if one person goes, and flushes the water everyone else wakes up, as the doors are technically open.. 3) It was almost impossible to adjust the water of the shower- it was either burning or cold. 4) The swimming pool looks great, but it turned out to be too cold, so we couldn't enjoy it. 5) Breakfast was not impressive at all for the amount of money paid, I would not recommend it. Usually when I see such comment I am thinking that people are too picky, but this time we couldn't eat even the croissants, they tasted like old bread.

Review 3：The power and hot water went out, there was no phone call to notify us that it was being dealt with and not to worry. When I called reception they said they knew there was a problem and then hung up on me. Also, housekeeping staff were not very good.

Review 4：Fabulous location, lovely foyer. Also a lovely view from our window. Entrance staff very friendly and helpful. Pool staff also were very pleasant.

Review 5：The day before leaving, we ordered a hotel airport shuttle for 4am. At 3:30am i came down to the reception to make sure they had called their driver, and they said yes. At 4am, we all come down and I ask the receptionist if our car is ready. She says yes. We go out and there was no car, and the staff at the entrance seem to have no clue. After 5 minutes, I ask the receptionist what is happening and she makes a call and gives me excuses that only further prove their lack of professionalism. The car came 15 minutes late. Which I think is highly unacceptable for a place of this caliber, and especially for a airport trip.

Review 6：I had sent 3 emails requesting separate beds as travelling with son, but when we arrived the room was not reconfigured. Poor communication. Their website promises free upgrade if staying more than 2 nights. We stayed 7 nights and didn't get it as we didn't book with hotel direct. Not made clear on the website.

Review 11：Nothing much on things not to like. Design is slightly dated and could use a refresh. I'm neutral about the value for money part as I think I got what I paid for. I also would personally like if there were more street food vendors nearby.

The location is perfect for shopping, lumpini park and seeing the sights. Lots of construction around the hotel add to the conjestion and noise. We really enjoyed our stay.

And please contact the reservation department as non refundable room is directly defucted without reaching the date of the stay. As guest we are not updated that it will be deducted earlier before the date of our stay. And please deal with the wifi better. It's hard to get connected.

Review 38：I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I was upgraded to an executive suite and it was superb. All the cooking facilities you need and an amazing view over the city. The staff are fantastic and the suite was exceptionally clean.

Review 39：Rooms were noisy at night - shouting in corridors and people ringing our door bell at 3am on two separate occasions. Staff did not respond to our 2 emails asking to check in early then when we arrived, after a 20 hour trip, got told we had to wait 50 minutes or pay £40 even though they explained that our room was ready! Not helpful and we sat exhausted in the lobby counting down the minutes with staff watching.

Review 40：The staff were polite. The hotel was clean and the location was near the city. The price was affordable - even for a hotel of less quality.

Review 41：No entertainment facilities (there is a library and cinema rooms that no one uses , better to replace with pool table or other activities). Catering options are very limited. No staff providing service near the swimming pool , you have to go inside and order. No smoking allowed near the pool (in open air). The hotel is totally dry

We booked the suite but I imagine all the rooms are great, large, spotless, so well equipped..even a washer-dryer. Because of the kitchen facilities, we made our own breakfast which was so relaxing. The pool, steam and sauna facilities are terrific. And the location, close to both train lines and major shopping, is so convenient.

Review 49：I paid an upgrade fee to a room that I specifically requested, but they said the room is not available to me to a room that was not my expectation. Even the have upgraded me to a deluxe suite, but I found it disappointed that we couldn't get the room that we wanted.

Review 63：I've stayed in this hotel more than 10 times over the past 8 years. During the initial opening stage, we were introduced by one of the travel agent and have breakfast in their exclusive coffee house on the ground floor. As the number of tourist is flooding the hotel, they have moved to the 8th floor. Now, it is tourist class; especially in the morning, with children running around, messing the buffet table, etc. No more serving of coffee/tea, you have to self-service.

Had to upgrade to two bedroom suite at much higher price. On our last day we booked hotel minivan to take us to lunch and then to airport. But driver took us to wrong restaurant. Concierge made mistake which was rectified by hotel manager after several costly calls. Not nice to be stranded in strange suburbs with driver who can only speak Thai. Lastly don't bother to fax as line perpetually busy.

Review 72：Reception, concierge and spa never picked up the phone, the phone would just ring and ring. Breakfast wasn't for western taste, no cheese and pastries were stale.

Review 74：Staff were unfriendly and didn't speak English, they didn't advise us ahead of time that they do not offer interconnecting rooms, breakfast was so terrible we had to eat at the mall, and they asked to charge us for extra pillows when we asked for them. We had a medical emergency and they didn't offer any support I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay in this over rated place. Cleaning lady was asking for tips to clean the room properly, it's the worst place to stay in!!

Review 76：One of our rooms smelled of smoke, even tho it was on a non-smoking floor. The smell didn't go away even after a few days. Walk to BTS wasn't good for a stroller. But then again, Bangkok is not very stroller-friendly in general. Concierge didn't speak much English. Communicate with check-in/out staff instead.

Review 77：My 2yo loved the kids club. My 9yo loved the pool. I like the shortcut to Central ChitLom. Ask the check-in staff about it. It goes straight to Soi Langsuan where you can find many interesting restaurants, including a very special Starbucks cafe.

Breakfast was very good, 20 different food/trays to select with additional corners e.g. for salad bar, drinks, fruits. Location is excellent, closer to shopping malls than it looks on the map.

Review 80：Staff deal with me and my family in very bad way. It's nice building and furniture but it seem that the mangment don't know about the staff and how they are dealing with the guest . Duty manger his name is VIX he was totally un polite and aggressive with my wife. Also upon check out we order a van to the airport and it doesn't come to pick us which delay us from the airport I will never stay again there

Asian food was good, but the rest (coffee, thee, jams, breads, rolls...) are just under the level of what one can expect in such hotels: it is industrial, of poor quality, simple, not varied... Perhaps good for Chinese clients but insufficient for western clients.

Review 99：When we check out, staff helped to take a taxi to airport. Unfortuately, when taxi started to drive, they asked for the fixed amount to airport at B500. At that time, we insisted him by "metre" and we paid the toll as well. Finally, he reluctant to accept. So I do hope if staff can talk to taxi driver before we got in whether it is fixed amount or by metre and it would be much appreciated.

Review 118：From the moment my mom and I arrived we were greeted and treated so professionally. Our room was gorgeous and very large and tastefullt decorated. The location was great as well. we managed to walk to CentralWorld and the Siam center as well as in the evening there were enough restaurants to keep us busy. The hotel was very happy to arrange tours. King assisted us with a dinner cruise which was one the highlights of our trips. the spa was out of this world. we had a 3 hour pamper session which was so worth the money and time. the therapists were professional, friendly and kind. and we got THE best sticky rice and mango at the end end! I would return in a heartbeat!
