Review 8：Free upgrade to a superior room - the view (of Jungfraujoch and Lauterbrunnen valley) from the balcony was absolutely spectacular!!! Very comfortable bed, good wifi and breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location, peaceful and quiet, a bit of a walk from the station with our heavy suitcases but the hotel offered a drop off service when we checked out (maybe they also offer a pick up service? We didn't know)

Review 9：Room 412 had light sensors in hallway and bathroom which had the lights constantly switching on and off with every movement. Made it annoying if someone had to go to the bathroom at night. Five minutes in a shower the light would switch off leaving you in total darkness. Please replace with conventional switches. Would also say that whilst everything was very comfortable the decor in the rooms is getting tired.

Review 19：With so many hotels from which to choose in Wengen, we were very happy with our selection. We were concerned about hauling our luggage uphill from the train station, but we were picked up for the quick ride to the hotel. The elegant Hotel Wegenerhof is conveniently located, has great views, a very attentive staff, and fabulous food. It is quiet, and after 2 weeks of travel and 5 hotel experiences, we found the beds most comfortable. We highly recommend!

Review 22：I have stayed here many times in both Summer and Winter. This is truly a most relaxing place to stay where excellent customer service is everything. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel all over is kept spotless. If you have a room overlooking the valley (an additional supplement is payable for this) then the views are stunning. My single room although small was well equipped with everything you need. Very well positioned about 5 mins walk from the train stn but you can always go there by the electric buggy if requested. The restaurant serves fabulous food normally 5 courses and includes a lovely salad buffet, breakfast is equally as good. The whole ambience of this hotel is of relaxation and friendly staff and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Review 23：The main shopping area n restuarants were in the interlaken west so had to travel through train which cost us 80£(2 adult 3 children). No indian restuarants in wengen. Hotel services were ok. found nobody on the reception many times especially in night or early morning. It looked like a motel rather then a hotel. It wasnt really a tourist point

Review 25：You can't take your car to the hotel. You need to park at the train station and use the train to get to the hotel. Last train moves at 9:30 PM and if you miss it you are in a real problem. Hotel furniture is quite old. Over priced compared to the quality.

Review 62：Location is perfect. View from our balcony over the Lauterbrunnen valley was amazing. Wengen is a nice little town that offers plenty off nice restaurants and other amenities. Hotel staff was kind and the breakfast buffet was grewt!

The desk chair was painful to sit in for very long; it hurt my back, and I ended up being better off sitting in the lobby to use my laptop. Before I left, the person manning the front desk asked how everything was, and I mentioned the wifi had been difficult. He told me that nobody else had complained. This was not really a constructive response.

Review 86：As this was a special birthday year for me, we chose a Junior Suite on the fourth floor, which gave us a bedroom and huge sitting room with 2 sets of double doors onto a massive balcony. The views were sensational. The staff were a credit to the hotel as everyone was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good with hot and cold dishes and plenty of choice. All in all, we really couldn't fault it.

Pickup and drop off (with a golf cart) at the train station is available. The staff was outstanding and accommodating. They ran out of croissants at breakfast one morning and the staff went to a local bakery to get more when my wife asked for them. Great views down the Lauterbrunnen Valley from the balcony. Higher floors (not surprisingly) seem to have better views. There's a single computer in the lobby for complimentary use by guests.
