Review 1：The road to access the hotel is really bad, if you can even call it a road. There are a lot of Mosquitos around the hotel because of the extensive ponds around the garden, they provide free repellent though! The airconditioner in our room didn't work and the wifi was down for two days. The hotel is a bit expensive!

Review 2：This hotel is literally on the sands, nestled amongst absolutely gorgeous, landscaped gardens. Paradise! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, couldn't ask for more. Spa had sea views, what a dream! Balcony is huge. So relaxing. There's no pool but you don't need one :)

Review 6：The staff in the cafe for breakfast were amazing. They get an EXCELLENT especially Lenise (?) It was like staying with family each morning. The reception staff were also very nice although our first encounter upon arrival was a bit unsettling as the reception person saw us arriving yet he walked past us as we entered leaving us in the reception office without saying hello or welcome or that I'll be right back. He returned shortly thereafter and was more cordial and welcoming so it was forgotten. He was obviously attending to something important at that moment. The staff at the beach was also very nice. Overall, the entire staff was very good. The portiero at the gate actually secured a rental car for us.

Review 7：We noticed at breakfast quite a few flies were getting into the buffet, which looked like it would have been good if it weren't for that issue. A fan was turned on some time later, but it was too late to make us comfortable eating the food. The following day the fan was on earlier, but is was hard to forget what happened the previous day.. Also, if you had a problem later in the night, there didn't seem to be anyone there to help. There was a guard on duty, but I think that is where his responsibilities ended.

Review 8：Roger a new staff member spoke enough English and helped us resolve a few issues with the room. He was also extremely helpful in retrieving a missing item left in a taxi the night before. The reception called a taxi for us when we needed to get into town. Thank you very much !! The clean beach has some really nice covered beds and more than adequate additional chairs. Overall we enjoyed our two night stay.

Review 10：This is a beautiful, relaxed hotel with inspiring design elements in a superb location right on the beach. My room was simple but stunning with a sea-view terrace. Breakfast was the best on Bahia so far. The beach bar is quite a scene - loud, with Balinese-style bed cabanas.

Review 11：Poor staff and attention at check in. Room and hotel was tired and not very welcoming. Overall we decided to move hotel as not prepared to stay and spoil our impression of Trancoso.
