Review 2：Le Grand Bellevue truly is an amazing hotel! The stay there was wonderful, you are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive, check in is made easy and is a relaxed affair. The rooms are comfy, cosy and spacious, with great in room extras such as a fully stocked mini bar and a SMART tv. In room dining allows you to enjoy the delectable food from Leonard's without leaving the comfort of your room. However, a visit to Leonard's is a must as the wonderful menu coupled with a great atmosphere really do make for an evening well spent. The staff were helpful and were always on hand to answer any questions and make useful suggestions. The spa really could be a stand alone, you feel incredibly lucky that access is included in your stay. The seven saunas available to try are magnificent and they ensure you leave with not only great skin but a clear head! The stay at Le Grand Bellevue was full of positives, we can't wait to come back and visit Le Grand Bellevue and Gstaad in the snow!!

Review 3：Very personalised attention and always willing to help - luggage from car taken out and shifted to and from the room without prompting, suggestions on route for travel, booking another place in town for fondue - really felt very special in this hotel.

Review 4：No A/C , so in hot weather we had to open the window at night and some insect get in the room also the smell of the food of the resturant downstairs, they did not inform me that they charge 30 CHF a day for parking my car in the garage.

Review 9：One of the best hotels in the world! Very nice people are working there, very helpful and just wonderful! The amazing guy from Le Petit Chalet who is doing there everything (who was there will understand) - also was ready to play with our kid while we end our meal. That was very sweet of him :) So the stuff there is the most amazing, helpful and nice ever!!! The hotel is very beautiful and the place (view) is amazing! So we are very thankful to the all incredible stuff and great managment of the hotel for our staying in the paradise!

Review 10：This was the best hotel we've been to in Switzerland by far and we regret leaving it since our next hotel was horrible in comparison. They have the best hospitality and we were asked before arrival if we required any transportation and they quickly arranged for it. We were also greeted by the owner on our first and last day in the hotel. Their location was perfect and we had an amazing view of Gstaad. I loved every minute of our stay and we are definitely coming back. This hotel should be an example to all the hotels in Switzerland. Worth the money spent.

Review 18：no big duvet cover for couples, only each individual small covers.For a couple, it's not very pleasant. too pricey for what is offered. You hear the noise in the hallway and the floor above.

Review 24：The hotel is very new and clean. The owner said hi to me and my mother while we check in and having dinner. The stuff is very professional and always friendly to help you. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was including and it was so good. The dinner also good in there.

Review 26：Excellent service and the owner Daniel was very welcoming. The or Le Grand Bellevue is what it says it is; a grandiose yet relaxed environment. The facilities are great, as are the products used. An excellent wine menu! Having essentially everything you want under one roof. Thought there a splashes of colour, it remains nicely balanced despite the vibrancy and boldness of the décor. You feel like you're coming somewhere special yet you feel like it's a second home!

Review 27：Service at breakfast was slow and slightly erratic, eg asked for English breakfast tea with cold milk and received Earl Grey and no milk. Not a disaster, but a shame when the hotel is so good otherwise.

Review 28：A lovely room with all you could need. Great pillows. For once a room safe at eye level! Also a make-up mirror that's not only for the extra tall guest!

Review 29：Breakfast is very poor for a 5 star open buffet. Kind bellboy was asking me if I would like a water or something when I was waiting for my taxi. He ended up charging the water to my room, I found this really funny and not a very elegant approach.

Review 30：Spa with 6-7 different saunas is just perfect! Location few footsteps from Gstaad centre and shops Minibar was free but few drinks and no snacks. I met the owner upon c/out who was very kind.

Daniel is fantastic - always greeting guests personally and also dealt with a small issue we had with our breakfast order in a proactive and professional manner. Highly recommend this hotel.

Review 36：my bed was very uncomfortable. I had a double bed but yet received two single duvets, upon requesting several times to receive a double duvet the house management told me they did not have one and all double beds in the hotel come with single duvets which found very difficult to believe.

Review 40：it was all just perfect. small electric busses might be good idea as is prevalent in Zermatt, to do the station commute in summer and ski lifts is winter. we have enjoyed the electric experience in Zermatt and might be work in Gstaad

Review 43：This is real 5 Star Hotel. We never expected that door man will receive us by our name. Hotel has a beautiful view, very high standard decoration and over all highly motivated staff. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. We have very nice stay even though god sun was not with us.

Review 44：The hotel should stop the nickel dime attitude on "extras". They purport to provide a "free" minibar but there was very little in it. When I consumed the one bottle of still water and requested more, they charged $20 to bring tap water to my room. They are just too good for this type of mickey mouse behavior.

Review 88：The Hotel Owner and Manager asked us to evacuate our rooms and leave the Hotel for a VVIP guest of his (UPS I think). That Was very Rude ! Btw the Hotel owner has just bought the Hotel (2 or 3 years ago).

Review 90：The restaurant and reception service was not in line with the stars.. - We asked for vegetarian food and we were reassured it would be taken care of but it was not the case - they were bringing the menu courses while still eating - they asked us 5 times during the main course if we still wanted bread - but there was still plenty of bread on our table.. and we were always interrupted while in a middle of a conversation - while bringing the dishes they didn't really say what it was what we were supposed to eat - the hotel cuisine not the best one. E.g. The recipe ravioli with tartuffo contained so much gratinated cheese that one couldn't perceive any tartuffo at all. - at the reception we asked two times for un umbrella as it was raining. The girl said two times "sure no problem" but as no umbrella was brought to us and we were still standing there waiting she looked at us in a not very polite way and when we explained nicely that we were still waiting for the umbrella she sighed and brought it to us without no "sorry" "i beg your pardon". The hotel and restaurant has potential and the service will be key. More senior staff would probably be needed or properly trained juniors. If it had been a 2-3 star hotel we could have accepted the poor service, but as this is not the case, we're afraid we won't come here anymore in the future as Gstaadt has other 4-5 star hotels with better service and better hotel cuisine.

Review 93：Staying at the hotel in 2nd half of January secures the undivided attention of hotel staff. Rooms in the separate wing are spacious and very tastefully decorated. All facilities are absolutely 1st class and the same goes for the service levels provided by staff. The owner/GM goes to considerable lengths to secure painstaking attention to detail. Review 100：Upon check in, learned the hotel was closing at 3 p.m. the next day for a few months period of time. This is news that I was not aware of when I made my reservation. As a result, we were unable to use the pool / spa facilities and the usual Sunday brunch was not served. Such hotel closings is typical in the mountain areas, and they re-open when ski season begins. But the guests should be made aware then making reservations.

Review 109：The hotel size is intimate although it has more than 50 rooms. The staff is very personal and attentive. The quality of the facilities is impeccable and the location was ideal for staying in the village, without being inside and hearing any noise.
