Reviews for Bed and Breakfast Chalet Rey-Bellet

Review 1:Since the chalet is on a rough footpath, it's a bit hard to find and access by car. Walking or skiing in would be the right way to arrive. My room was very small but packed with 2 bunk beds (sleeping 4). Efficient but cramped.

Review 2:Rick, the chalet manager went way beyond the call of duty when he rescued me at midnight from a mountain top which my car's navigation system had mis-directed me (the chalet is not on a named street so the navigator sent me to a named but unpaved cowpath at the other end of the ski lift). Hot bread for breakfast, coffee machine always available, balconies around every floor. Essentially a sophisticated log cabin, this chalet has got to be the best summertime value in Switzerland.

Review 3:Fab location, very welcoming and helpful owner and opposite small bar for great après ski

Review 4:This nice chalet and its welcoming staff was perfect for our short two-day ski break. Great location, right on the slopes!

Review 5:Only one restaurant in les crosets . so b and b was not good option. WiFi was in

Review 6:Location was good.

Review 7:very friendly welcome

Review 8:Very hospitality n helpful in info around the tourist area. Go extra mile to pick us n send us to bus station.

Review 9:As it was located on the mountain, evening food sources were verylimited and expensive, I would recommend taking food with you. Alsoremember to get Swiss francs and euros as the resort takes Swiss francsbut most of the mountain is in France so euros are better value.

Review 10:Awesome place, great friendly staff, right on the mountain. Couldn'task for more than that!! Good breakfast, ski-in, ski-out

Review 11:hospitality of the staff (Luc is ok) others were not really friendly. Maybe end of ski season? no possibility to pick up drinks while in the living room at evening (just coffee/tea).

Review 12:location is perfect value for money

Review 13:Bed and pillows / bedding (bring your own if possible), a few more coat racks would be great, and a slightly bigger sink (or smaller tap).

Review 14:Location, the very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, shower is awesome, super sweet hospitality and service of owner. LOVED LOVED LOVED being here.

Review 15:We had no complaints at all.

Review 16:Our host Luc could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The location was fantastic - real ski in ski out in a beautiful spot and perhaps one the friendliest resorts we have ever been to. Simple but completely adequate for 3 days. We will

Review 17:You have to takes your luggage across one of the pistes. When we left we skiied our luggage down to the carpark, as there was too much snow near the chalet!

Review 18:Very convenient for slopes (ski-in, ski-out). Excellent value for money. Luc is very helpful n.b. he gets a discount on the ski passes. Meeting other guests in the breakfast and common rooms. Hotel across piste is convenient for evening meal. Pizza place at bottom of village very good.

Review 19:Food in the immediate area poor and over priced. Have lunch on the mountain late. Have snacks back at the chalet for evening. Stop in monthy for a shop on the way up go crossets.

Review 20:Amazing location Luc is cool Very helful

Review 21:It wasn't the best value. The breakfast is quite basic as are therooms (2 bunk beds, a bathroom, balcony). The price of 256 chf for aroom of 4 (used by 3) seemed exaggerated. For that we expected more.

Review 22:Charming chalet right on the piste. Staff very friendly and helpful.Common room with a tv set and games is also a plus.

Review 23:Luc the host is excellent, due to flight delays we didnt arrive until 0430 and he was still up waiting for us when we got there! He picked up our ski passes on the first morning and will also arrange to have dinner provided from a local restautant in the comfort of the chalet.

Review 24:Superb location, right at the Les Crosets' slopes. Clean rooms, nothing fancy just what snowboarder needs. 24/7 coffee/tee/hot water machine at the dining room. Free and well-working WiFi. Friendly and helpful staff - Luc is the best and speaks excellent English.

Review 25:Nit-picking, would prefer more shelves in the wardrobes rather thanhanging space - ski clothes are not hanger friendly!

Review 26:Free coffee machine with tea/ovaltine/chocolate available at alltimes in Breakfgast room. Dining in option in the evening - plenty ofgood food, 3 courses at a reasonable price. Flexibility (E.G.arrival/departure) Ski to and from the front door Lockable Ski room.Boot changing area in hotel Bar outside during the day Powerful, hotshowers Friendly staff Sufficient Lighting in the bedrooms (oftenlacking in French appartments - yes I know this is Switzerland!) Had agreat time.

Review 27:The location was excellent, ski in and out with the whole ski area on your doorstep. Luca couldn't do more for you. Its basic but clean with loads of hot water. He provides a great value set evening menu if you want it for a reasonable price. We drove from the airport on his directions were quick and easy.

Review 28:Very dedicated manager Luc, who awaits clients arriving after midnight !Literally on the skipiste. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Accomodation Isexactly what it needs to be. Nice après-ski bar. Best village on thissite of the domain to transfer to Avoriaz and France.

Review 29:The beds were very firm but an extra duvet on top of the mattress easily softened my sleep.

Review 30:The location was superb, the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Taking the lift outside the door in the morning and then boarding into the chalet from the mountain was amazing, particularly at the end of the day when there was usually a small crowd of people attending the outside bar giving it welcoming and social flavour. The breakfast was continental and just perfect, and we also purchased the evening meal which was just right, hearty and good value.

Review 31:It is not a good resort for beginers, the pistes are narrow and can get very bumpy. For better skiiers there is plenty of good runs.

Review 32:The location on the slopes was excellent enabling us to ski in and out. Luc provides a fantastic personal service to all his guests and I would cirtainly recommend it.

Review 33:Wonderful stay for ski holidays in this unspoiled swiss village.Extremely friendly and helpful staff, wonderful location for ski, as theB&B is located on the ski path, so one could ski home! Also, friendly place for kids and pets, cozy home feel. Home cooking dinnerdishes are simple and delicious! The manager Luc is very kind, friendlyand knows everyone in village!

Review 37:Perfect location, Luc (owner) super helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him.

Review 38:The staff is really nice, the rooms cosy and the slopes right in front of the house...

Review 39:Good alternative to Refuge Chesery about an hour or so further on along GR5 (if you follow the correct signs -- otherwise 2 hours).

Review 40:Size of the room was great, and it had a balcony. Breakfast was incredible and very pleasently laid out. Access to mountains and lifts was perfect

Review 41:None.

Review 42:The location, the 24h/7d availablability of a tea/coffe/milk, the owner, were really exiting.
