Review 1：it's not that I didn't like it, but more a tip. The hotel is getting older, needs some maintenance.

Review 3：No real adverse comment. Signage could be better as the hotel is a maze of stairs and landings. Odd sign in all rooms - 'Don't move the furniture'. Some noise from tables outside bar if you want an early night.

Review 4：Quiet location on the edge of town near the zoo. Rooms quite spacious. Quite a decent breakfast. Staff helpful (need to speak Czech or German). Good value for money.

Review 5：The positives far outweigh the negatives.The receptionist did not speak English,but we conversed in ungrammatical German. If you are a light sleeper,you may be woken by the trams which run along Masarykova from about 5 a.m. The hotel has a bizarre system of only allowing you to access the restaurant,at breakfast time,by one staircase (the others are taped off.) It's a confusing system at first,but you eventually become used to it.

Review 6：I've stayed at this hotel on three seperate occasions and think it represents value for money.I paid about £14/19 euros per night for bed and breakfast.This time,I was given a large en-suite apartment which had tv and fridge.Fantastic! The hotel bar is open from 10a.m. to 11 p.m.and serves drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices.Across the street,there's a kiosk which sells coffee,beer and snacks from early in the morning until the end of the afternoon..The hotel breakfast is good. The U Jezirka is situated about 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Liberec,on the tree-lined street Masarykova.It's close to the Spa,the Botanical Garden,the Zoo,the North Czech Museum, the Technical Museum and the Exhibition centre.Trams 2 and 3,from the stop on the other side of the street willt take you to the city centre in 5-10 minutes,at a cost of 20Kc (60p/80 eurocents.) If you don't want to walk too far and fancy a late dinner,there's a superb Italian restaurant abour 400 metres from the hotel,on the same side of the street-it's near the Spa and opposite the Exhibition Centre.

Review 7：The wifi was not a strong signal and rarely reached to my room on the 3rd floor.

Review 16：It is a typical Czech local hotel so could do with an upgrade in bedrooms but hotel was very clean. Good wifi connections. The staff were friendly. Good choice at buffet continental style breakfast and good beer in their pub next door. Easy tram link right outside to town.

Review 30：i booked two stays at this hotel in april . the first stay was for three nights . but these were booked separately as I had no concrete plans .when I arrived only the first night was boked . this was a sunday . soon after this was found the manager/owner came . for some reason my second/third nights were lost in cyber land .? the owner assured me that there would be a room for me . when un packing the owner came to my room to aplogise again . next day everything was sorted . they looked at my next booking that was confirmed . hiccups appear fron time to time . this was dealt swiftly so will be back again and again to this hotel . I did not use wfi so cannot comment on this . tram outside hotel and is near to zoo . 200mts . my daughter lives a ten minute walk from this hotel . so this hotel ticks all my boxes .

Review 31：The hotel is situated in a nice natural environment. The hotel was really clean as well as the room. The room was full of simple practical solutions which amazed me. Although I stayed only one night, it gave me a feeling like home. Thank you.
