Review 6：The staff was good. When we arrived in the evening guy at the reception chatted with us and told several information about the village and also recommended the near by restaurants. Also at next morning the service was good at breakfast and when we checked out. The room was nice and clean. Also the wifi worked well and fast.

Review 7：If you do not have any interest in Leysin itself you should take into consideration that the road to Leysin is difficult with a lot of curves. The beds were horrible and it seems that the mattress should have been replaced long ago. The light in the room was so weak so you can barely see anything. The WiFi was very weak so you can barely use it.

Review 11：we were very disappointed that there was no shuttle to station or airport as per their advert .We were told it was a 5 min. walk to station but it was 15mins when I complained he said I must have walked slowly, I am 75 yrs old I do not walk that fast

Review 13：Was very noisy! No air conditioning, so when its hot outside, there is very hot in the room as well, the windows couldn't be open because again very loud outside. Also had to wait for a while to pay for the room, because the restaurant was busy at the restaurant

Review 17：Everything you need when you want to enjoy a short holiday in this amazing location. Small hotel, excellent location, family-run, very forthcoming and helpful staff, very clean, rich breakfast, typical Alpine-style and cozy environment. Anything you need you can ask with an email before your arrival, or once there, they will be very helpful, gave us information for leisure and activities, provided me a hair-drier and lactose free milk (we brought the 1st morning and they bought for us).

But, within its category and price range, this is one of the best hotels I ever went too: Quiet, friendly, comfortable, conveniently located in the village center, with unusually kind and helpful owners and staff. Review 23：I could not check-in becasue I was quater past 10 pm and there were no staff in the hotel ! I had a great luck because one of guests showed me where the land lady sleeps (building close to the hotel) and I spent 10 minutes knocking on her dors to wake her up and receive a key. I was terrified that I will have to spend nigth on the flow in front of reception desk. Phone number on my reservation was to this empty reception desk :)!

Review 34：Way up in the mountains which I really didn't like or know. Too many stairs. No elevator. The floor felt very weak like we would fall through. Needs a little updating. Waited 10 minutes for someone to help us check in.

Review 36：I stayed very disappointed with the owner of hotel. In the checking voucher was wrote that we can arrive at the hotel until 10:00 PM. We arrived there at 9:15 PM but, the owner was so nervous because of the time and said a lot of things about that was necessary to make a call and inform about the delay etc… I just said that there was no delay and we have followed exactly what was wrote in the voucher, and we arrived 45 minutes before to close the time. He continued to say a lot of bla, bla, bla that the voucher was not him problem and Booking.com problem itself etc…, and I just said to him once again that we have followed exactly the schedule in the voucher and if there was some mistake in the schedule, he has to check and ask to Booking.com to make the future corrections to avoid this type of inconvenience.

Review 90：Beds are too short for guests of 6ft (~180cm) and above. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Somewhat too hot in the room (despite a relatively cold night) and no way to adjust heating or open a window.

Review 92：The supermarket, bank, restaurants and the rail station were just a short walk away the ski bus was right opposite the hotel and the hotel owners could not have been more helpful, Great holiday.

Review 101：The hotel needs to be refurbished; the terrace outside the room is in a poor shape; the mattress are exhausted. More serious, the bar tender in charge of the breakfast room is really unpleasant and seems to consider hotel guests as living nuisance... "Management" in La Tour d'AÏ is obviously non professional which is a pity considering the Swiss reputation in this field !

Bathroom was clean. This is important when traveling with young children. Great breakfast and the staff was very friendly.
