Review 1：The door wouldnt close properly and had a couple inches sticking out which made it cold. When I called and asked for extra blankets i was asked to go down and get them myself instead of sending a Staff member up to deliver it.

Review 3：Ensure to get a room that does not have an adjoining room. There was a connecting door to another room, and there was a family next door with a baby that cried a lot durring the night. We did not get much rest.

Review 5：The vacumming job could be more thorough, our grandchild was crawling and found a piece of candy cane with partial wrapping and another small candy on carpet. We did not bring the candy into the room.

Review 6：The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after travelling. The breakfast was included, so a good value.

Review 7：We arrived in our room and it was run down. Went to turn on tv it was broken went to call front desk and we had to fix wiring to get it to work just to call front desk. We were told someone would be up to fix the tv. After a couple of hours and numerous excuses as to why no one had shown up we were fed up. We fixed the cable reception ourselves and called the front desk and they wouldn't even answer our call. Shouldn't be too much to ask for a phone and tv but for this hotel I guess it was. Won't stay there again for sure!

Review 9：The night manager was helpful.. 1st rm they put me in smelled like an ashtray! 2nd smelled slightly better.. Not very clean & when I opened one of the drawers it fell out on my foot! Bed was also very uncomfortable.

However when he dealt with me, his attitude changed so it ended okay but it was an inappropriate reaction. Furthermore, the rooms and hallways are only half renovated!

Review 30：Asked for a wake up call, which I did not get. This left my wife stranded at Abbotsford Hospital for an hour and a half after being there all night. Said they would compensate us next time we stayed - as we live an hour away and the only reason I stayed there was the dismissal time (6:00 a.m.) for my wife. I will not be staying there again and would have appreciated some kind of compensation. Will not be recommending them to anyone.

Jacuzzi tub was supposed to be a luxury, I suppose, but I don't think it was cleaned properly. Ironing board was left set up in the room after the cleaners had been in. Restaurant attached closes at 3:00pm, so we had to walk about 1/2 km to the restaurant in the Best Western. We should have stayed there!

Review 40：Hot tub only worked one day, found a hair on my pillow before I used it, the bathroom fan was SO LOUD (didn't like that I couldn't choose to turn the fan off), overall the room was smelly. One time when my husband and I were in the hot tub enjoying our time together, some random guy came ripping through the room on roller blades!! Wtf!! He came in the hot tub room from the hotel door and went outside through the other door. I don't think he was even a visitor?!!

Review 51：Many things must be updated and the hot tub had not been working correctly the sauna also did not work, it just wasn't getting hot at all and after an 18 hours trip driving...., it would have been nice to soak and go do the sauna to relax. My husband and I travel quite frequent to Abbotsford and would like to know that if we choose your establishment for our home away from home with out dog. We would like to find a place that has everything in working order. The color scheme could be better, and the mattresses could use to be updated but, we understand that funds are limited and you are working quite well with what you have from what I could notice. Also there needs to be more washers and dryers maybe you could stand to get 3 more or each. and have them cleaned regularly and maintained then your avoiding problematic patrons. Oh yess, seating outside either outside the door or on a grassy area, would have been nice for smokers like us. a small table and plastic ashtrays would also been very convenient. Take care. We should be back in or around October at some time. But, we will call again.

Review 52：I booked this hotel a month in advance.. 4 rooms for 3 nights.. When wegot there all our rooms were in different parts of the hotel. One of therooms has been smoked in as I requested all to be none smoking. We askedto change rooms and they wanted to take my queen double room away andgive me a king room for 4 girls, this is not acceptable. When they gotthe manager on the phone he was very rude and told me to leave the hotelbecause he didnt care if we took our money and left. This was the worsthotel we have ever stayed at and we have stayed in many as a sportsfamily. I will never tell anyone to stay in this hotel, it was dirty,run down, the breakfast was more continental and the pool was cold alongwith the hot tub. Do not stay in this hotel... We spent alot of moneyfor a run down place to lay our heads at night. Booking.com shouldnteven have this on their site ...gives them a bad name too.

Review 59：We had been traveling late and got to the motel at midnight. I pulled back the covers and their was nasal mucus ( green booger) at the top of the sheet by the pillow, in the middle of the bed was a small bunch/ballof hair (pubic or belly button?) and then slightly below that was a dark brown smear/stain in a jagged line ( blood or feces?) anyways, needless to say I was completely grossed out. I felt nauseated at the sight as well as the thought that the motel housekeeping thought that they could "skip changing the sheets" and make the bed, thinking they could get away with no one noticing, it makes you think how many other times this happens? The pictures did not portray the run downess of the facility. The carpet was dirty and had a large wet spot by the bed. I reported it, front desk said it was "noted". It smelled musty and wet and on the ceiling it had water stains. The furniture was scratched and beat to heck. The room was dark. The shower curtain was stained. The drain was plugged in the bathroom sink. So I felt like pictures did not resemble what your actually stayed in. I was too scared to eat breakfast and use pool. We stayed a total of 6 hours and they they knocked $20 bucks off for our "trouble" so $70 for 6 hours of not being able to sleep, I called Booking.com, spoke to someone who spoke poor English and she told me not to leave, stay the night and a Booking.com Manager was going to call me and straighten things out . And nothing. No one called from Booking, no one called me from Abbotsford Inn. Front desk said I had to pay $70 and that Abbotsford manager would call me in morning. And nothing. I would not NOT recommend this motel to anyone

Review 60：The place was OK for the exception you had to go outside to access the pool and the restaurant from where our room was. It's ok during hot summer days but would be a problem in the winter months.

Review 61：The room wa large; and had an alcove with table and chairs. We had traveled two days to get there, and were able to visit with other family menbers who were also in Abbotsford.

Review 62：I had difficulty with the key - had the wrong # on envelope which I noticed when the door didn't open the second time I used it. Office told me I was at the wrong door but when I went to the # on the envelope, my belongings were not in that room. By now it is late & I am tired. Had to go back to office. In the morning the key had been de-magnitized & did not work again even though I had it in a separate compartment. I am there for a funeral...I do not need more stress.

Review 68：This hotel was terrible. Apparently it used to be a Comfort Inn, but has gone downhill. The outside is in terrible shape and the clientele hanging around was sketchy. My kids got to observe a domestic dispute in front of a room that appeared to be booked long term. Breakfast had 3 of each thing out at a time, had to ask for more for a family of 4. The wifi didn't work, and phone to front desk didn't even work.

Review 83：The bathroom in the disability room' was a huge disappointment. The shower did not have a seat or shower bar and was slightly slippery when wet. It did not have a proper drain and so flooded the whole bathroom floor. The toilet also did not have a bar and so was difficult to use. In this room the bathroom door was damaged and could not be closed. In this particular room the air conditioner worked poorly. The door thresholds are very high making it difficult for a person using a walker to enter the room and would make it impossible for a person in a wheelchair.

Review 85：Was first greeted to find out that the person at the front desk said that I had already checked-in and to find out that my room been given to another guest. I told him that it was very unlikely we had checked in, since I had just crossed the border. Check-in took longer than expected because they had to accommodate us with another room with the same reservation. Very smelly hotel - the smell was very off-putting as I entered the lobby and it continued into the hallways and into our room(combination of smoke, musty, foreign food and body odor combined), our room had ripped curtains, and our room was supposed to be "quiet", but was located near a business that used a lot of power tools, our TV didn't work and we had to ask for help. Garbage from a previous remodel like the "Comfort Inn" sign and other junk in parking lot. One driveway in and out on one side of the street makes it difficult to access. Door between suites had a missing doorknob and a hole that we had to cover for security and privacy. Room had items that said "Quality Inn". I would have spent $20-$30 more a night elsewhere if I didn't have a $99 cancelation fee to do so. Security must not be an issue since staff and guest will prop the security door open with a 2x4 that is located right next to the door during the entire duration of our stay. Stairs will take you to the 2nd level, not helpful for those who have a lot of or heavy items to take to your room or to your car.

Review 92：Was in need of a few repairs: the faucet leaked, as did the toilet; the door wouldn't lock without having to fiddle with it for five minutes; and the coffee maker didn't work. The TV was very small and/or too far from any seating/ the bed.

Review 94：The room obviously needs repairs and a good cleaning. Curtain valance was too long so it is hangjng off the end.water leak above caused significant ceiling damage which was poorly covered up. Bathroom shower tiles were recently replaced but grout was smeared across tiles and poorly cleaned up. Corners of the room needed vacuuming as did between the mattresses. Ceiling in bathroom was peeling, moldy and had construction pencil marks from the tile job all over it. Front desk people didn't offer helpful suggestions, unless you specifically asked the right questions. The restaurant next door (attached) is a seniors restaurant (early bird special) but is only open from 7 am -3 pm) but is reasonably priced.

Review 98：I thought that the breakfast really lacked appeal. I didn't like the idea that you had to enter the hotel from a back street. It was advertised with a Clearwater Road address but you had to enter the property from a back street which took away from the appeal.

Review 109：The door handle was broke and we had a hard time entering the room. The room smelled like a cigarette producing factory! Wifi connection kept dropping. Lots of unorganized furniture (for their renovation) on the ground in the lobby made it hard to make your way to the swimming pool. The sauna simply didn't work.

Review 110：The hotel is located near numerous restaurants, so a wide variety of eating places are available. There's also a shopping mall nearby. Also, the swimming pool and hot tub were spacious and clean. Decent value for the money.

Review 111：Remote did not work on t.v. the paint is peeling due to serious moisture issues like fans not working. This in turn has caused towel racks to rust. The breakfast was not breakfast and the food safety would concern me. So we never ate any of it. The room overall wss not worth the price.

Review 115：Breakfast in Vic's diner (connected to hotel) was excellent. We were assured of a breakfast discount as we were hotel guests but never received the discount even though we told the sever we were staying at the hotel. Coffee was extremely good.

Review 116：First room presented to us had a door that did not close. After we reported it, someone went up and told us that there was nothing wrong with the door. When we went up together with the staff member, he advised us that he did not try to close it. We were given another room eventually.
