Reviews for Hotel Boryana - All Inclusive

Review 1:The reception staff is totally incapable of doing their job. They don't keep track of anything and don't know anything related to the minibar, arrival time and payment, very disappointing. Also, the cleaning in the rooms is very poor, done in a hurry.

Review 2:Food is verty tasty, there is a wide choice between lots of Bulgarian salads... You can eat good fish every meal. The hotel has an excellent position, very close to the beach. Most part of the staff was friendly.

Review 3:Beach/pool bar guy - really unpleasant, staff from all bars and restaurant didn't seem to know how to smile, with one exception: at the bar with entrance from the restaurant, one guy serving was smiling and even knew how to make a joke :-) Food except breakfast- not so tasty and lack of diversity Snacks - really a bad joke (in diversity as well as in quantity), except for ice cream that was OK Animation for kids - very poor WiFi working properly only in the reception area

Review 4:Location (sea and beach), reception OK, comfortable bed, large bathroom (in room with side-sea view), lots of fruits to choose from during meals, during lunch and dinner grilled meat / fish (even if you had to queue sometimes)

Review 5:Nothig

Review 6:Beatiful restaurant near the pool with a piano background &live music in the evening, barbeque, snacks from11 to16,drinks all the times, the sand's beach is neare the hotel samebody said the bathroom is small, but I'am not going on vacation to stay in the bathtube prefer all nice area around.

Review 7:The room was rather small for 3 people. The bed was uncomfortably hard. It was not possible to darken the room for the night, so we woke up every morning at 5 am with the sun in our faces. In this day and age when people travel with tablets and smartphones, there really should be wifi in the rooms, not only at the reception area.

Review 8:Good location directly on the beach, ideal for families with young children. Staff was kind and helpful. Good selection of food, some variety each day. Nice pool. Good all-inclusive package overall.

Review 9:If you happen to travel with younger children, don`t expect any flexibility from hotel staff even if you are prepared to pay for the extra bed/child. No sign of politeness at reception and staff fails to understand that their primarily concern is to make you feel welcome and have a pleasant stay and not argument as to why you are bringing children with you!

Review 10:place, cleanliness, comfort, Wi-Fi

Review 11:bad quality of drinks (fake cola, sprite , fanta , beer). Because of this I was supposed to buy a doze of normal beer. The double bed is not kind size. It is just two separate beds and they split into a single one and you have a gap between the beds. In the restaurant you should stay in a row in order to get something. The food was fat but tasty. For young people there are no entertaiment , it is a hotel just for relax , suddently at the beach there were only old people , and families , no young couples. No wifi in the room , you need to pay. Also the staff speak english very bad.the snack bar should be at the beach not at the hotel. when you look at the hotel from outside it looks like a comunist hotel. The balconies are not separated , the wall between balconies are visible and you can see other people ( no private balcony)

Review 12:beach was closed to the hotel , sea view from the balcony , good room with air conditioning , TV, food was various

Review 13:Around 50% of the guests at the beach were smoking hence - no fresh air outside the hotel at all! The food at the restaurant was excellent, but the all-inclusive drinks were very limited (close to none). Only one type of beer available that was the worst beer I've ever had! Bulgarian beer like Kamentiza, Zagorka, etc. even though not imported, you had to pay for. Also, there was free water in cups, but if you wanted to take a bottle of water in your room during the night, you had to pay for it or alternatively fill up your own bottle from the bars, which felt somewhat like stealing water. Coffee was also pretty bad, except if you ordered it from one of the bars, but we had to wait to be at least 10.00 in the morning when the all-inclusive started.

Review 14:The room with sea view and the food.

Review 15:high pillows

Review 16:Well organized hotel. Reception staff greeted us with warmth and was very helpful throughout the stay; varied and tasty food, clean beach.

Review 17:Air conditioning of the room next door was installed on our balcony. While he was involved could not be out on the balcony.Only on 9 floor.

Review 18:Everything in the hotel is made so that a person can enjoy his vacation. The staff and service was higt. The food was varied and for every taste. We enjoyed our vacation.

Review 19:Food, drinks, staff, local, seawiev

Review 20:Management impoliteness

Review 21:Proximity to the beach

Review 22:The hotel manager professionalism, service quality, accessibility and positioning of the hotel...

Review 23:Breackfast a little bit poor.

Review 24:The location, hotel quite renovated with modern furniture

Review 25:Would be nice to have WiFi in all the premises.

Review 26:Prime location on the beach. No discos or dance shows nearby, so you will enjoy quiet slumbers. Very warm welcome by the General Manager, really taking care of her guests, with the help of her staff (of course). Lobby nicely renovated. Very good food, with something for everybody. Besides chicken and meat dishes, fresh fish and seafood was available daily. Room not very large, but with plenty of storage space for clothes. Balcony with two chairs to enjoy Black Sea sunsets. Very good shower. Free use of sunbeds and umbrellas for guests. Free WiFi internet worked very well, but only in the lobby. Very good value for money!

Review 27:Staff was not very friendly, in 4 days they didn't vacuum once (we brought sand from the beach on our shoes), they switch to half-bord, wanted money for water at dinner (water should be free - at all time, we were OK paying for other drinks)....

Review 28:Close to the sea, rooms were decent

Review 29:For the hotel: there are mosquitos, disturbing your dinner on the terace, near the pool. For Albena (general German management for the whole resort): - there are the same TV channels at every hotels, missing the most important European ones: Euronews and Eurosport - there is a unique exchange rate in all resort, very low (1 Eur = 1,86 Leva), while in a bank (in Balcik, for example, where I am suggesting you to go for a day to visit the Quinn's Maria Palace and gardens) it is around 1 Euro= 1,95 Leva!

Review 30:We spent wonderful holidays in this recently refurbished hotel, placed on the very large, sandy beach. One sun-umbrella and 2 beds for free per each room (extra: 1 mattress for 2 Leva = 1 Euro). Nice rooms, very clean (towels changed daily), with AC, refrigerator. Staff very friendly and supporting. Extraordinary reach and tasty food (half-board), offering a large variety of products, including (unexpectedly) different kind of fish and sea-food. It was our best stay in a hotel in Bulgaria and we shall return there for sure.

Review 31:Hotel doesn't have parking to speak of (they have some 15 places for the whole hotel). Not even a spot where you can unload and check in. I drove around for 15 minutes to find a place to park, then walked another 10 minutes to the hotel to check in. Flooring in the room is ceramic tile, feels like a hospital. Albena is a family-with-small-children resort. Just a few stand alone restaurants (i.e. outside the hotels' restaurants) and they were practically empty. I suspect this is because most people have the all-inclusive deals, and they don't need to go to other restaurants.

Review 32:Hotel is on the beach. Front desk ladies were friendly (although they all struggle with English.) Room was clean.

Review 33:None.

Review 34:Hallo, dear friends at Booking.com! This was one of the best summervacations I ever had - excellent location, mild sea and sun, silkysmooth sandy beach, very friendly and competent personnel (big thanks toMrs. Ivanova - the Hotel Manager!), very clean and comfortable rooms andthe food - like all fruits of the richest Bulgarian lands are pooringthere, tasefully prepared and served with a friendly smile! Definitelythe best seaside place I have ever visited, while back home! Trulyyours, Anatoly

Review 35:Breakfast could be improved a bit, especially on the food diversity side. The room was not cleaned properly on a daily basis. There were spots where it was obvious that the vacuum cleaner hadn't been put to use.

Review 36:Location is perfect, the hotel is on the beach. Reception staff and the manager, Dima Ivanova, were very helpful. Although the wireless signal is not available in rooms, they had an RJ45 slot in the room and I have used my personal Ethernet cable to connect my laptop to the wired network. For authentication I have used the same credentials as for the wireless network. Daily fresh towels, the sheets were changed every 3 days. The room had fridge and A/C which were very useful.

Review 37:The hotel was clean, there was a fresh smell everywhere. The location is excellent, close to a nice forest, hence it was not very hot, very close to the beach, so that one gets directly there when coming out of the hotel door. The beach is clean and cleansed every night. The food was served twice a day. The meals very very tasty, very healthy, always different, and displayed in a very pleasant manner. I spent a wondarful time there in all respects.

Review 38:A great little hotel, fantastic staff very responsive and working very hard, clean, friendly, good food, a truly exclusive location. We loved it and will be going back. Albena is great for families!

Review 39:VERY weak internet, & the elevators frequently did not work to the upper floors so you had to use the staff elevator.

Review 40:Good location, friendly staff, food was great & the rooms nice.

Review 41:Only possible to get good WiFi connection in the lobby. Would have been nice to have it in the room.

Review 42:The breakfast buffet was very good, and all the staff spoke good english.

Review 43:pure wi-fi connection in the rooms, it's ok only in the lobby be aware when you have breakfast outside, if you let you plate alone, seagull can eat it easilly!

Review 44:beachfront, staff is very friendly

Review 45:No Wi-Fi connection in room - only in reception and nearby area, very disappointing.

Review 46:There was always free space at pool and at the beach, 5-10 min walk to main street, quite at night. Perfect for families with little children.

Review 47:The rooms are a little bit too small.

Review 48:The location of the hotel is right on the beach. Very comfortable for families with little children. The swimmingpool was clean and big, the rooms are cozy and clean, the food is good and diversified, Hotel Borjana has a very good entertainment team

Review 49:They don't have all inclusive, just half board.

Review 50:The hotel is on the beach, is clean and the staff is very good. They have an excellent animation team for adults and children. The pool is clean and the food was a lot and good. They have a long breakfast from 7:30 to 12. You have two sunbeds and one umbrella for each room for free. The beach is clean and they have for each beach a lifeguard. The price is very good.

Review 51:loosing my time

Review 53:Wifi is not free.

Review 54:It is on first line of the beach. The food is Ok.

Review 55:Unsatisfactory customer service in terms of not making best effort to comply with customer needs
