Reviews for NOI Casa Atacama

Review 1:The staff was unpleasant and inexperienced. The breakfast was very poor and corresponded to 3* hotel. Room had no air conditioner. It was hot in the nighttime. Do not recommend this hotel. It should be much more cheaper for such s service. The price is absolutely inadequate for this hotel

Review 2:Location is the only benefit.

Review 3:The spa was being renovated.

Review 4:Clean, comfortable hotel. Lovely pool area, shop, bars & restaurant. Staff helpful & friendly. Good wifi coverage.

Review 5:On the day of our arrival the hotel was empty. We were the only guests there. As the other guests arrived, they were accommodated in the rooms right next doors, even though there were many rooms available. This was somewhat a nuisance for us, as one night we wanted to have a drink in our room and other guests complained because of the noise (it was 23:30). The other thing was that on our last day they didn't want to serve us eggs, saying that the had run out. It seemed very unlikely to us.

Review 6:By far the staff is the best feature of this hotel. Everyone is amazingly friendly and problem-solver. We never heard a "No" for an answer and all the time they were willing and able to help and assist us in everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and varied. They have a selection of breads, hams, pastries and cereals. Eggs are also available, but you have to order them directly to the waiter (included in the breakfast for no extra charge). On our last day, though they did not want to serve us eggs, under the pretext the had "run out", which to us seemed very unlikely for a hotel of this category. That was the only downside of our breakfast experience. Everything else was great. The food served was also good. A bit pricy, though. You might as well walk 5 minutes to town and have dinner on Caracoles Street (main st.) for a lot cheaper budget. In any case, we only had dinner once at the hotel and it was a BBQ buffet for CLP $19,500 per person, including a glass of wine and a soft beberage, and dessert, which was fairly reasonable.

Review 7:- bed could be better - no air conditionning but the adobe construction technology is also a solution - tap has a very low debit but shower is excellent

Review 8:- very kind attending people - good restaurant - excellent internet - nice room

Review 9:A hotel of this caliber should have WiFi in every room. The signal strength in the main lobby is fair to poor. Also, given that many tours in San Pedro begin at 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning, the breakfast should begin at 6:30 and not 7:30. These are minor flaws however as the hotel warrants four stars.

Review 10:The hotel is a beautiful facility located about three blocks from the town center. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable beds and lots of pillows. The water pressure is very good with plenty of hot water. The free continental breakfast features fresh breads, fruits, cheeses, meats, and cookies.

Review 11:We arranged an airport transfer from Calama to the hotel. Though we provided our precise arrival time, the driver was late and this caused some unnecessary worry as we thought we would have to sort our own transportation out. We had dinner at the hotel one night but found the food just OK and over-priced compared to restaurants in town. We'd suggest walking the few minutes and eating in town.

Review 12:Great location set a few minutes walk from the town center. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and quiet.

Review 13:The pool was amazingly cold. After a long day in the desert, some solar heated water could have made the trick. Restaurant is absolutely overpriced and not value for money AT ALL.

Review 14:In San Pedro it is difficult to find a mid-range hotel so we went to for slightly upper end NOI with our daughter. The rooms were very nice, staff helpful, breakfast very good but the restaurant is absolutely overpriced and not value for money AT ALL to have dinner.

Review 15:price si expensive , wi-fi is not good in the rooms, water in swimmg pool is too cold , no TV and frigobar in the room ,

Review 16:staff friendly , location ,

Review 17:The wi-fi is a bit slow and doesn't always work. The breakfast only starts at 7:30 and most of the tours begin before this time. We only managed to have breakfast twice during a 5 days stay.

Review 18:Everything is absolutelly perfect. The staff is very helpfull. The breakfast is great. The rooms are quiet, clean and confortable. They have Trek bikes for the guests. A jug of cold water is always available whenever we arrive. The relaxation massages at the spa are a plus.

Review 19:The 30 day cancellation policy (we wanted to change our trip, but were forced to have it remain as is with the hefty price tag per night). When we checked in, I had mentioned to front desk that we were on our honeymoon (he said he didn't know, even know it was on our reservation), he sounded pleased for us said he would arrange something. That something never happened! Also, we were never offered help with our bags to our room, we were showed, empty-handed, by a member of staff to our room. Even though I was stopping and struggling with a large duffel bag. Breakfasts were bizarre- cupcakes?! And very carb heavy. Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Dinner was another disappointment. Service fine, food pretty gross! And expensive!!!! Venture into town for sure! Pool was small and COLD.

Review 20:The rooms were beautiful. Very comfortable. Shower was lovely! Nice pool area. The bar! The bartender Carlos makes great drinks and loves to practice his English on you- plus he'll teach you some Spanish :)

Review 21:Rooms were great, pool area could be better, great drinks, clean

Review 22:Helpfulness of staff, very good food, very nice suite, high quality accommodation. Would stay there again.

Review 23:Need to improve the number of options of the restaurant menu, just 2 options per day is not enought.

Review 24:Everything: Tours, Room, Staff, etc.

Review 25:In house tours are a bit pricy

Review 26:Great facilities, clean room, sauna...

Review 27:El personal en general

Review 28:No comforts not even a decent chair to sit in. Very poor facilities for the money.

Review 29:The staff and the location

Review 30:I had no issues during my stay.

Review 31:Great staff on hotel service and travel agency. You don't need to worry about logistics, they will handle all your needs. Try the rica rica sour at the bar, it is amazing!

Review 32:Beautiful and quiet place. Excellent breakfast (fresh fruits, home made cakes). Excellent service. Big and nice rooms. The hotel organizes tours with very competent guide (Derek) and driver (Nelson). You have marvellous breakfast and lunches during the tours.

Review 33:There was no air conditioning which is okay but no fan??? and mosquitoes were biting us all night! pool water is freezing cold like frigid to the point that getting in is like torture. food was not good!!!

Review 34:The staff was helpful about tours although nothing was available from the hotel itself.

Review 35:There is still a bit of construction going on, but the staff did their best to ensure that it didn't disturb the guests.

Review 36:The staff and hotel were great, but the excellent guides that Casa Atacama uses for their excursions make a stay there spectacular!

Review 37:Breakfast poor (they even do not have eggs). In addition, they give asmall dish where practically you can not put anything on it, when werequest a bigger dish, the staff simply said "we do not have".The coffe was always warm. they use a normal thermo not a industrial as you can find in others hotel The sink´s cap did not work in the room The car parking is small for all clients The hotel fare is high if we compare with other alternatives, for above mentioned aspects, the value for money is very poor.

Review 38:Terrible. We were given a different room than we booked. Then we were moved to a better one but the shower did not work. The pool was empty, and under repair. The hotel was being renovated and all day people were hammering and working around the gests. The rate is too expensive for what the hotel offers. After 2 days we went to another hotel, the Kunza, which is spectacular, with the same rates and I which recommend instead of Casa Atacama Noi.

Review 39:location. walking distance to town

Review 40:- Front desk staff barely courteous. - Restaurant inefficiently managed (friendly waitress, but lack of selection). - Marginal cleanliness of room and facilities. We stayed at the Noi Indigo Patagonia last year and it was infinitely better managed, friendlier, and cleaner. The restaurant was very good.

Review 41:Location and excursions.

Review 42:Although we enjoyed the room and services, prices are a little overrated.

Review 43:the staff! they were most helpfull, professional and friendly. Perfect! We also enjoyed the peace and quiet. Great place to relax.

Review 44:No TV in the room. Poor wifi connection. Pool little bit small.

Review 45:Kind staff. Nice Spa. Quiet place.
