Review 1：Because we had a dog, there was a $10 charge added on to our rate for the room. Also the pictures that was on their website was a lot more attractive than the room we got. I don't blame them, because we had a dog, we probably were given a room that would be easier for them to clean. The room also had a hint smell of cigarettes.
Review 2：Staff was friendly. Spitting distance to a Tim Horton's. Just less than a km off the highway.
Review 3：Room was cold at first but did warm up. We booked last minute so they may have had the heat turned down low, not knowing we were coming.

Review 5：Just nervous of the steps, on a freezing day could make a sheet of ice, which can cause an accident, especially an elder or someone carrying something.

Review 10：We travel to NS and usually use Edmundston as a rest stop. This was the first time we stayed at the Happy Motel and hopefully it won't be the last. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. Our room was a great size, comfortable and very clean.

Review 14：This nice little Motel looks like it is in the process of getting updated as the room we were assigned looked older and didn't have heat control. Essential for older people!! The front desk lady on the fourth of Oct that evening was a nice lady (I wish I had taken note of her name as she was a trooper!!) and gave us another room that was updated with new everything in it. Thus my thinking they are updating as they can afford to.
Review 15：No facilities for making tea or coffee. Microwave provided but no mugs or cups that could be used to heat water.bed too high. No rugs or mats on the floor just sticky iles

Review 24：This was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. It was less than a block from a pub with great food. It is an older motel but has had some basic updates like vinyl flooring. Very good value for dollars spent.
Review 25：We dropped enroute to Montreal from Nova Scotia just wanting somewhere to sleep for the night. The family room is huge with facilities for cooking/eating if required and 2 separate bedrooms. Very basic but super clean with helpful friendly staff.

Review 30：It is an older motel but is as clean as it could possibly be. Greatvalue for the money, we were upgraded to a family suite which was a hugebonus, was like a large apartment! Staff Joanne stayed late for our latearrival after a car breakdown and was very nice!
Review 31：It's such a small thing, but I didn't like when we checked out the office wasn't opened. We had to drop the key in the box, which my husband could open and count how many people checked out ahead of us. I personally liked had my key over to an employee for I can its in the right hands.

Review 46：We recently stated at the Happy Motel in a family room on our way to Nova Scotia. It was perfect for our family of 7. Great staff greeted us even when we arrived very late at night. They made sure we got settled. The suite was clean well equipped for our family. We booked on line and the cost was excellent. thanks Happy Motel you dud make us happy.

There wasn't any coffee in the reception area either. That door was locked until well after I left. To be fair I believe they were dealing with arrivals until quite late into the night.
Review 51：Nice and easy to find after a long day on the road. Very friendly and considerate reception and probably the cleanest hotel I've every stayed in. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed.

Review 55：I had an early rising noisy neighbour above me and the rooms are not very soundproof. the building is older and the ceiling not very thick so it sounded like someone doing jumping jacks on my head at 6am.

Review 57：The door to the motel, which leads to all of the motel's rented rooms, is not locked at night. (!!!) The happy motel is located across the street from a local bar, and became a welcome mat to several drunk teenagers as they stumbled around trying to find somewhere warm. I was staying the night with a friend, hoping for an early rise in the morning and another 8 hour drive to our destination. We were mistaken. The intruders yelled, stomped, drank, and argued all through the night. It was clear by their conversation that they were not paying guests. Needless to say, we didnt sleep at all. Get a lock on your door, Happy Motel.

Review 59：Great location, 5 minutes from the highway, and just in front of a 24 hours Tim Hortons. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room, equipped with a fridge and a microwave oven.
Review 60：I was late because of snow and a wrong turn so I called to advise them I would not be there until past check in time.They prepared the room, turned on the heat and left a key for me. They also told me not to worry if I had to stop before getting there they would not charge me. The woman was very kind and more concerned for my safety than her booking. Also the room was very clean and nicely decorated. Finally, I only got in around 4am and the next morning the nice gentleman told me there was no rush in leaving past checkout. Really lovely people!
Review 61：The only complaint would be very minor regarding a towel bar and soap dish that were a little loose on the wall. I mentioned it to them and I'm sure they would be fixed promptly based on the excellent condition of everything else.
Review 62：Very affordable and clean. Joanne was very prompt with any concerns we had. The bed was quite comfortable and the shower looked like new. We would CERTAINLY stay here again! Tim Horton's a two minute walk away is bonus.
Review 63：The walls aren't very thick and in some cases there's just a door between two rooms, so you can hear people who are staying there on pretty much every side of the room. The bathroom is a bit small in the room we were in, so it involves contorting around the sink a bit to sit on it. Comfy bed, a little noisy. Just minor inconveniences for us.
Review 64：We met the owner. He's awesome and speaks English with and awesome Acadian French accent. He was very kind and considerate, concerned about our comfort. He didn't mind us checking out a little bit later. They were all ready for us with my name on an envelope with our key. Everything was very clean and neat. Very cute rooms. They seemed to go above and beyond.
Review 65：Had a ground floor room. Although we had easy access I found it cool and could not figure out the secondary heat system. Main heater (hot water) was not controllable from the room.

Review 95：The owner and staff went out of their way to help with directions, picking out the best room, and with supplying ice and wine glasses for our get together on the wonderful swing on their deck! Room was very clean and the motel is right off the exit and very near all kinds of restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay again and recommend this motel to others. Review 99：In the attempt to clean the room there was a smell of bleach so we have to leave the room with open door for half an hour; Location of the motel is very poor, the rooms are very noisy, you can hear the water running from the next floor...The price is very high for what you get, although hotel prices in Maritimes were unexpectedly high!!!
