Review 1：Amazing hotel, indeed journey in the past; the hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful locations of Bulgaria, the few rooms and its location ensure full relaxation; it follows the old habits from communist time and therefore it is not disturbing that the breakfast is served as was done than; the staff is most friendly and ready to fulfil all wishes at any time; it is our second stay and we would be more than glad to return

Review 2：The food did not match the excellence of the hotel and it's staff. Breakfast was just okay and dinner was some good, some not so good but none of it was hot enough.

Review 3：The view, the balconies, the sense of space, the quietness were all great. The staff were extremely helpful - they even fixed our car! The decor in the hotel was fascinating, marble steps, carved wood, wall hangings, etc

Review 4：This is not a 5 stars hotel at all !! At first sight the hotel looks quite impressive, especially the location. But the rooms ar maximal 3 stars standard and they have never been renovated since their opening! You have to pay for sauna extra. But the sauna must have been checkd the last time YEARS AGO and so we had some electrical short-circuit while using the sauna (blank cables !!! near the hot stones). It's really a pitty because the location of the hotel and the view (also the historic background) are amazing, but I would really recommend not to choose this hotel!! So if you are looking for some Hotel experience a la "Shinig" you have to stay for one night but thats enough!!!

Review 6：This hotel should be maximum 3 stars. There were no swimming pool, all facilities were very, very old. We strongly recommend not to visit this hotel.
