Review 1：The fact that the waiter did not know the English language a little bit better.

Review 3：- limited food variety (mostly Bulgarian traditional but which was tasty) - a matter of taste - the bath sink inside the room is separated by an opaque glass wall - a matter of adaptability - we requested a room with queen size bed and received a room with a "double bed" with two foam mattresses which were indeed comfortable and utmost desired after our long walk around Veliko Tarnovo to which we had to travel by car

Review 5：The only downside is that the restaurant is too small to feed all the people. We ate there only once and we had to share a table with another couple. I hope they didn't mind. Poor Wi-Fi signal.

Review 6：This is our second time staying here and I was just as impressed as the first time. We were 3 adults and we booked a junior suit. The room was very clean, the bed was big with nice white sheets. If the first time the towels had a little mouldy smell, this time they were ok. The room is in the new hotel. We don't know how is the old house. The yard is big and very green. It feels you have a lot of privacy. During the warm months you can eat outside. The staff is very nice.

Review 7：The restaurant is too small for the old and new location all together. Once, we had to eat in a sort of service room connected to the main eating room and we did not like it at all, because the waiters kept coming and going and we felt like we got in there way. This time, the food was poor, the wine is still good.

Review 8：We have been in that location many times before and kept coming back because of the beautiful surrounding garden and very pleasant rooms and also because we liked very much the food.

Review 9：We usually come here as it is a special and great place for us with a big green yard and very peaceful environment. The cleaning it used to be spotless, now is just clean... We stayed two nights and we have to asked the cleaning lady to come and throw our garbage. Anyway, on the leaving day it as a dead bird on the side of hotel entrance which stayed there the entire morning .

Review 14：The breakfast was server outside and there were many flies on the food. We informed the Reception and hope they will find a solution - maybe transparent covers or so. We had asked for a quiet room, but the one that was allocated to us was near the entrance of the building. There was no door absorber and the noise from the shutting door was quite disturbing. Quite noisy as some kids were playing outside freely even after 23:00.

Review 23：Entrance door (room 201) making a loud squeaking noise. Wi-Fi in the room was weak and disconnected frequently. Breakfast good in the first day and insufficient in the following days. We were told the orange juice was over with no replacement at 9:30. Also, more variety for breakfast would be good. An outdoor pool would be a great addition.

Review 31：I used to stay in many places in Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi. But no other place is like Arbanashki Han! New complex is very good, elegant design, fitted with high quality of sanitary/furniture and you really feel like home. Staff is helpful, good English skills, garden is fantastic especially in spring. Highly recommended for Arbanassi/Veliko Tarnovo area!

Review 32：The staff very helpful , beautifull rooms , beautifull garden , very quiet , I think we were the only clients on a thursday night on our way to Greece . The entire complex is spotless , almost new . Food very good and cheap . 70€ for dinner for six drinks included.

Review 33：Double room does not mean double bed. One has to be upgraded to a suite room or you get two beds next to each other. You have to pay extra for the steam bath and for the sauna. In the shower cabin there is no where to place your soap or anything else - you have to put them on the floor.

Review 34：Perfect location, extremely friendly and polite staff, beautifully decorated interior and rooms, quiet, with a large garden with facilities for resting - for kids and for adults. Fantastic kitchen, excellent service. Great Wi-Fi, free parking with its own closed area behind high fence. In the room, apart of towels, there are bath robes and slippers plus some amenities. It is all bright, spacious and new. Windows are sound proof. Bathroom is fantastic, hot water comes immediately. The TV has a great variety of TV channels.

Review 35：The hotel is in a good location in Arbanassi with plenty of parking and lovely gardens. During our stay all staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was excellent, lovely and clean, the bed very comfortable. Our meals in the restaurant were wonderful, the best we've eaten in Bulgaria and the waiters were very attentive and friendly. Review 44：Everything and everybody simply perfect. The receptionist kindly changed our room on the third floor for one on the ground floor when I told him my husband had a broken foot. The room was simply amazing. Brand new, large, combortable, very elegantly decorated and very clean. The Bulgarian food at the restaurant, simply delicious and the breakfast very complete, varied and also exquisite. A especial word for the two waiters there, a former English teacher (like me!) whose name I can't remember (sorry) and Ivan, who worked in Spain for some time. Very professional people. They made our short stay an unforgettable one. Thanks for it! If we ever go back to the area, we will definitely stay there again.

Review 45：only suggestions and not disapprovals: the restaurant should be improved, it is an average one; more electrical plugs should be added, they are insufficient to charge all your devices, if you have many.

Review 46：nice, spacious and very clean room in a welcoming structure; wi-fi and air conditioning perfectly working. Green and fresh garden inside, where you have breakfast and meals. Easy and sure parking facilities. The Arbanashki Han is situated inside a traditional Bulgarian hamlet, where you can visit, by foot, various interesting XV-XVII century churches with astonishing mural paintings and traditional houses. At a distance of five km you have the nice Veliko Tarnovo town, with the impressing Tsarevets medieval fortress.

Review 47：Daily cleaning was almost non existent - they would just redo the bed and chance towels We had used 2 glasses on the first night and they haven't been cleaned or replaced for the whole 6 nights of our stay!

Review 51：We had lunch on the day of our arrival. The service was really, really slow and the food was low quality. We paid an outrageous price of 6 leva (3 euros) for a 150 ml citronada - that did not even feel like it contained lemons at all !!! This was the most expensive that I ever drunk (a citronada of 500 ml in Veliko Tarnovo cost 1.50 leva) . We ordered some trout fish (one grilled and the other in foil, a tomato salad, a mixed garnish and some parlenka. Both fish came grilled (despite our order). One of the fish was not done properly, the parlenka was sprinkled over with some spices that didn't taste natural at all. Worst of all, the mixed garnish (cabage, tomatoes, cucumbers and french fries) arrived at the end of the meal...really bad experience. After that we only ate in Veliko Tarnovo, where 3 dish meals cost much less. Breakfast was really poor, the first morning we arrived there at 9:30 and there was nothing left to eat (although breakfast was served until 10:00). The next morning we woke up earlier, but the situation was almost similar. Staff was not at all proactive, and the food itself was bad.

Review 52：The room was really nice, it all looked and felt new. It was kind of noisy (our windows were directed to the street), I would ask for a garden view next time. I would stay there again, but would definitely not eat there again!

Review 60：A quiet and peaceful location about 15 minutes drive from Veliko Taranovo, in Arbanasi village.The buildings were tastefully designed in the Bulgarian traditional style, in conjunction with modern facilities. Review 110：The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. We went straight to the restaurant on arrival. There we had to wait 30 minutes to place our order and another 20 for the starters to arrive. There were a couple of things broken in our room which we reported at reception. We tried to turn on the AC on our first night as the room was too hot, but that was also broken. On our second day of stay, we decided to take an afternoon break at the lobby bar. After getting our order wrong, the waiter told us he is angry at us and won't serve us again. On our final day, we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant since it was included in the price of our stay. Breakfast was extremely poor and not enough for all guests. Drinks include coffee and a bottle of water only (we had to wait 15 minutes for the latter). Tea is not included and you must pay for it separately. Throughout the entire stay, there were three black-outs and not enough hot water for all guests. In summary, this establishment has fallen way below their advertised Booking.com rating and we cannot recommend it to anyone.

Review 111：The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the park is splendid and the people are more than friendly-even trying to learn foreign languages from you! The food in the restaurant is very correct and good and being served near an ancient fireplace with the smell of burnt wood - it makes you forget your every day problems. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they provide very good quality massages- both for treatment and for relaxing. This is the second time we're being their guests and it won't be for sure the last!

Review 112：the Spa is not free. they charge 10 levs per person for using the steam bath and the jacoozi and additional 8 levs if u want to use the sauna. anyway the spa in general is quite poor. in the old building there is some smell from the kitchen downstairs.
