Reviews for Hostal Mi Casa
Review 1:After a long day of travel, we were greeted so warmly by the owners. We were leaving the hostel around 3:30am the next day, but the sweet owner made sure we had coffee ready for our early morning. Hostel was quiet and was immaculately clean! We would not hesitate to return for sure!
Review 2:Note that Mi Casa is a bit out of the way so be prepared to take taxis everywhere unless you are up for long walks in Punta Arenas.
Review 3:Mi Casa Hostal is very clean. The hostal keepers were accommodating of early morning arrival and departure times (2:30 am, 4:00 am). In addition, the Mi Casa staff agreed to store our larger bags while we hiked at Torres del Paine. The hostal keepers do not like guests in their kitchen, but they let us use their plates, utensils, and dining room table on the two occasions when we bought food from the grocery store.
Review 4:The bed wasn't very comfortable. However, considering the price, there is nothing to complain about.
Review 5:The host is a very nice lady. Since we took a very late fight. The lady helped us to order a airport pick-up service and waited us in the front dest. She helped us a lot about the local tour. The room was clean and comfortable.
Review 6:The host was very helpful and really a very nice lady! The location is a 15 to 20 min walk from the main square, however, a cab costs less than $2.000 Pesos (well worth it to stay at this place).
Review 7:The owner was lovely! Warm and welcoming and helpful to arrange tours and book taxis. She made us breakfast for our departure at 4am! Very clean and spacious rooms. Great shower and washroom. Good wifi
Review 8:Angela (owner) is such a nice lady. Very sweet and attentive to booking excursions, taxis, making recommendations, etc. The rooms are small but very clean and smell clean. Please be patient with her lack of English. Be prepared to have key phrases in Spanish for her. It was a wonderful stay and she made me feel very welcomed.
Review 9:We were treated like members of the family. Despite not speaking great Spanish, we were able to communicate with our hostess and she made reservations and recommendations for events in Punta Arenas. Breakfast was very generous and the room was spotless.
Review 10:Location is slightly further out from town and room is a little small so it can get cramped if you want to lay out your luggage
Review 11:The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming. They didn't speak a word of English so we communicated through google translate which she carried everywhere. We arrived too late on Sunday to get any food outside so we ask for some hot water but instead they prepared a full meal for us.
Review 12:We had a hire car so being a little out of town was fine for us but may not be for everyone.
Review 13:The owner is unbelievably nice. My pathetic Spanish didn't get us far, but the wonders of google translate on her tablet meant language wasn't a problem. The house was spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was the best we've had since we've been away. Breakfast was good. I would highly recommend staying here.
Review 14:Booked room had a private bathroom but it was located across the hallway, Bit of a walk to the centre and the bus terminal ( taxi around 3€), paynent by credit card didn t work
Review 15:Very clean
Review 16:-a decent walk from town and taxis are not cheap -a darker curtains would be appreciated as there was a street light shining through all nigh
Review 17:The Angela's welcome even she doesn't speak a word of English its not necessary as she is so beautifully mumsy and caring, efficiency, CLEANLINES, breakfast, white bathrobe and crocs are lovely touch
Review 18:A little far from the city centre, but we had a car so it was not an issue.
Review 19:From the moment we arrived, Angela (the owner) was lovely and so accommodating. The room was large with a comfy bed and pillows. She even provided crocs for us to wear in the house! We had our own private bathroom which was very clean and warm. We left the next morning very early, but Angela ensured us that breakfast would be waiting for us on the table, and indeed it was :)
Review 20:The room is very small, the location is a bit distant from the center, you have to walk for 20 or little more minutes. The staff doesn`t speak english.
Review 21:Extreemely clean, not only towes were offered but also home slippers and shower gown. Toilet is not in the room, but it was privat. The breakfast was good, there was even a cake! There is a small supermarket not far from the hostal. The staff is extremely helpful. My spanish is poor but they were so friendly and ready to help!
Review 22:I traveled with my mom whom cannot sleep unless everything is super clean. This lady's house is amazing. It's spotless (I think she has ocd), new, and it looks like she puts a lot of effort keeping it like that. It's really a fantastic treat, can't say enough. Don't espect a party hostel though, it's a place to come and relax.
Review 23:A bit far from downtown, but not too far of a walk.
Review 24:The host did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. She stayed up late to allow us to check in and woke up early to help us get a taxi to the airport. The beds are comfortable and the shower is excellent.

Review 28:The hostess (Sra. Angela) was very sweet and helpful. She even helped us find a rental car even though it seemed impossible to find one because they were all taken. They give guests bathrobes and slippers which are alk nice little touches that other places don't offer.
Review 29:It is not central, but easy enough to get to with a taxi.
