Review 1：one of us thought room 4 was a little musty smelling. both times the bathrooms were super cold - but we remembered this from another year and left the door open overnight so we wouldn't get too cold while showering.
Review 2：we stayed twice - in the last week. Room 4 had great bedding and lots of pillows. Room 11 had the old regular motel stuff. THe little fridges worked really well, and we appreciated having them to re-freeze our ice packs! we will definitely stay again as we appreciate the good value and a place to stop in our travels.
Review 3：Office closed. Sent us to "house about 300 feet down the hill" where no one was home. No answer when we rang at what we supposed was the correct house. It was not possible to stay so we had to stay elsewhere.

Review 7：Our room was one of the cabins. It had mice in the walls, the toilet didn't flush, there was no hot water, the little bar fridge was noisy, there was an exhaust fan high on the main room wall that was very loud and there was no Wi-Fi even though we were told there was. It was the worst stay we've ever had. We are patient and polite people and we approached the staff the next morning that way to let them know about our terrible stay but they weren't very interested in listening and actually became a bit defensive. We left the place feeling horrible.

Review 10：The rooms are quite basic and dated, but kept in good order. Mattress seemed to be brand new. Convenient to highway but secluded and very quiet. Would stay again; excellent value for money.
Review 11：The room was a bit small. The limited number of electrical outlets meant we had to do a bit of switching between computer, coffee maker, CPAP machine, and my oxygen machine.

Review 15：The bed was way too firm for me so I couldn't sleep that well. As noted, the air freshener is terrible but you get used to it after a few minutes in the room.
Review 16：This is a basic motel, no more, no less. It is right off the highway and has a pool that looks great (it was raining during our brief stay). If you are looking for a cheap, clean place to sleep for a few hours while commuting between the maritimes and central Canada, this is the place for you. The staff member was efficient and pleasant at check in and the room was as promised, clean and completely basic. Nice to have a mini fridge and a microwave though.
Review 17：The ice machine was not working, it happened to break down as we were getting ice. They were getting someone to fix it right away. Things happen.
Review 18：The staff was friendly and spoke English well. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant on site before going to our room. The restaurant is licensed so we were able to have a nice cold beer. The room we were in had two double beds and was very clean and well kept. It looked like they took pride in their motel. We had a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker with coffee provided in the room for us. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and we slept very well. We will stay here again on our travels home from Ontario to Nova Scotia.
Review 19：The only thing I could fault was the window air-conditioner! It worked great but I had to turn it off as it was so loud and kept waking us up!!!

Review 28：The front desk staff was very helpful as we got to the motel after midnight and they arranged for us to walk right into our room whenever we got there. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the motel - it's impeccably clean!!! We stayed in room 3 and while the furnishings are older, everything you could possibly need is there! I would recommend this motel to any traveller looking for a clean and comfortable night's stay!!! I think we will stay there on our way home too.

What a pleasure to see someone with such a great personality on staff! Restaurant is worth eating at - simple food, and things are "hot off the grill"; homemade apple pie/jam was a fantastic surprise! Room was very clean and comfortable for the price. I will stay here again...
Review 34：The superior room has no place to sit. I was expecting a larger room but the only difference was one extra single bed which takes away from the space.

Review 39：La Roma Hotel offered an excellent stopover on our way up to Quebec city. Our room was sparkly clean and had all we needed for a one night stay,including a fridge and microwave. The price was also exceptional,allowing us to get a headstart on our journey due to a winter storm.

Review 44：This is our third visit at Roma. It is ideal for those traveling to PEI from Montreal. Right off highway, no time wasted by going into city, clean, breakfast, very nice staff and the price is excellent. Best of all, if you reserve at a late hour, someone will actually be there to open the door upon arrival. It is clean and pride of ownership is evident throughout. She does her best to accommodate special requests. And if you have time to spare, she offers pampering goodies, hair salon, massage, etc.. at reasonable rates. I highly recommend.
Review 45：Room must have been just renovated. Very comfortable, clean, quiet. Motel beside a river. Rate was excellent and service was very friendly. I was on my way to Ottawa from Halifax. Stayed on the way there and then again on the way home. Will do it again.

Review 65：Nowhere to walk. You'll have to drive to the next highway exit to get to the town of Edmundston. We were on a week's vacation in the Maritimes and stayed at 7 different motels. This was the most expensive by a fair margin-not worth the money given the remote location and absence of a continental breakfast.

Review 73：I had to change rooms twice because I think it was the carpet underlay that I could smell & the smell gave me an asthma attack. (People who don't have asthma probably would not have smelled what I smelled.) The carpet itself appeared to be very clean except for one stain in front of the door in one room but the stain itself didn't smell. The fan in the room kept getting noisy for awhile, then it would be soft again. It woke me up and I'm a deep sleeper. There wasn't enough plug-ins in the room and the plugs sometimes wouldn't stay in the socket & I could hardly reach behind to put the plugs back in.
Review 74：The rooms were clean. Towels were folded nicely & clean. Management was friendly & helpful. It was very easy to find the motel as signs were visible from the highway. Shampoo, soap etc. was not skimpy. I could open the window to let a breeze in. The air conditioner worked. My room was dog-friendly. I could park my car right in front of my room.
