Review 1：I have shipped a package using the hotel's delivery service that didn't arrived at the destination. It's been a month already since the delivery and I have no feedback from the hotel regarding the shipping details. It's very disappointing the way this problem is addressed.

Review 2：The hotel was outstanding in all ways. The beds were comfortable, the room large with plenty of space to put things on, parking included was so helpful, the food outstanding and the staff was absolutely the best we have ever found any place in this world This hotel is number 1 on our list.

Review 3：VERY noisy from the street, impossible to sleep with open windows. Impossible to sleep with closed windows as well because of the bad air in the room (smelly). Very old bathroom, old furniture, all run-down! Needs to be renovated asap!

Review 4：Very comfortable beds, good breakfast, big room, very close to the lake and the railway station.

Review 5：Shower room was filthy with ingrained dirt on the floors and walls, chipped tiles on the shower surround, mouldy grouting, no functioning ventilation and the light switch unprotected from the shower. The hotel corridors smelt musty.

Review 6：It was very hot while we were in Biel but although in a refurbished room, there was no air conditioning - just a fan which was inadequate. Also, although there was a cupboard designed for a fridge - there was no fridge. Our room was at front of hotel, and there was a lot of traffic noise.

Review 7：The hotel is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes from the lake. The bedroom was big. The staff were friendly and very helpful - even organising the getting of a football shirt from the local team! Many tv channels!

Review 12：I checked in at about 00.30 , well I actually could NOT check in, because the doors was locked and I could NOT enter the hotel. So I rang the bell maybe 5 minutes but nobody answered the door. Then I went to the Hotel's Parking lot but the hotel's enterance door was locked too. So the only way I could check in was to CALL the hotel at night and have somebody tell me the combination to the lock. When I entered the lobby finally, my room Key was on the reception desk and still there was nobody araound...

Review 14：The first room I had was facing the street, it was very noisy that I couldn't sleep. The room also did not have blinds or a second layer of curtain that are non-transparent. It was weird.

Closest hotel to the train station. The rooms overlook the trees. Quiet, comfortable room with coffee, tea and gummy bears waiting for you. There are vending machines in case you need food, water...etc for almost everything you might need. I was able to store my luggage very safely after check-out because my plane was in the evening. All the staff members really go out of their way to make you comfortable. I am happy I chose this hotel. It is the best value for money. I highly recommend it.

Review 21：The only thing that was real in the negative reviews I read here was the green bathroom tiles. Yes, they are ugly and give the bathroom an out-dated, dirty look but the bathroom is actually very clean with lots of towels.

Review 22：It was my first time in Biel and I was travelling as a tourist. I had a hard time deciding where to stay and read all the reviews and everything. The hotel is only a 3-5 minute walk from the train station. Upon seeing the hotels I didn't choose, I realized I made the right choice. The staff are excellent. The girl and the boy at the reception desk and the woman and the man in charge are all excellent people. They were very friendly, efficient and helpful. They answered all my endless questions patiently and made me feel really welcome, safe and at home. I thank them from here very much. The hotel was fully booked when I arrived and was always that way throughout my stay. It is a very clean hotel. The bed is really comfortable. My room overlooked the trees so it had a very nice view and was very quiet. It has a good parking lot where you can always find a spot. There are chain locks on the doors so you can lock them from inside as well and feel extra safe. There are big smart-led tvs in every room with the internet,..etc. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety, lots of drinks, fresh fruits and vegetables,bread and morning newspapers. The guy working at the restaurant section was just as nice, helpful and friendly. I also thank him for doing an excellent job. The wifi is also very good; I could easily use it in my room and at the lobby. After check-out, they also allowed me to leave my bags with them until evening because I did the 3-lakes tour and it was safely waiting for me when I arrived. They lent me a plug-in changer for my phone because we have different electricity plugs back at home. There was always coffee, tea and gummy bears on the pillow in my room. They also had vending machines for water, food and other things on different floors in case you need to buy these at night. You can also take maps and information booklets from the lobby for free. The staff were very efficient and friendly no matter how many people were there.

Review 23：The cycle room was down a steep ramp which made it difficult for us seniors to store our e-bikes safely. We took the risk of leaving them in the car park overnight. The mattresses were on the soft side and sunk a bit in the middle.

Major building work is taking place across the road, but the room was well soundproofed, and that didn't affect us either. Main downside was that there wasn't much by way of shops close by, so that one really needed a car - a casual stroll wasn't that fruitful there.

In our deep conviction this hotel must be closed by local authorities as one which is violating any sanitary norms. room where we stayed had a horrible smell as well as corridors. latter we understood that this smell is from chemicals which are used to kill insects. then we discovered 5 cockroaches on the wall and our night was destroyed. local staff just answered that they an not do anything and other rooms are not available despite we have 2 small children and sleep with them in such a room is just dangerous! obviously we have to change the hotel next day, no one even asked if inconveniences they caused us could be somehow compensated or if they could help us with other room or hotel. it is shame that such hotels function. I would propose booking.com not to discredit itself with proposing this hotel on the top of the page when people look at stay in this area. you are making them very bad advise
