Review 1：1. I stayed for 4 days and everyday there will be a minibar check at around 9-9.30 am. Although the room was lock a lady staff had a key to get in to do her job when I was showering or semi-naked. It happend 2 times. Of course! she knocked the door as a good manner but she did not wait for any reply! just open the door suddenly. I feel really much uncomfy with this sort of service by a 5 star hotel. Wondering if there is a must to do minibar check at 9-9.30 in the morning !!!????!!! 2. On the first day of my stay and get in the room, a bell boy obviously stand and wait for tip. Tip is not a rule of thumb! It was my first day in there and I had only 50 Euro notes in my wallet and the guy said he had a change so I had to tip him 10 Euro to avoid such a reluctant situation! Again this was not expected to experience in a 5 star hotel.

Review 2：Executive suite room is very good.

Review 3：The person responsible for the toilets in the pool area did not do her job. It was not possible to lock the doors in the female department. For the most time, there was no toilet paper. Then the lady brought toilet paper but although there was no paper to dry hands, she didn't care and did not bring any paper. So during the last 2 days, it was not possible to dry hands.

Review 11：The staff is not " five-stars", as this hotel pretends to be. Some of the receptionists don't even speak English and they have an arrogant attitude, some of the waiters are extremly rude, especially an old man in their "Essentials" restaurant. He's awful. You only find nice waiters and service in their a la carte restaurant, which is indeed nice.

Review 12：The architecture of the hotel and the room, which is very nice. The distance to the beach is a short one. Breakfast is good, but with dirty coffee-cups and plates sometimes.

Review 13：This is not a 5-star hotel, but a holiday club for Russians and Romanians. If you look just for bed, sun and food, then it's ok. If you look for 5-star class, there is none over there. Internet not working. Poor gym (for money, 4 €/hour), not even towels or water dispenser inside. I asked the general manager to fix the air conditioning in the gym, not done even after 5 days. Waiters always chasing for tips and looking unfriendly to you if you don't tip them. Extremely dirty matresses for sunbeds. Etc etc.

Review 15：The staff at the reception weren't really friendly, if you ask them a question they will answer, but it seems they aren't as willing as they should be and up to the expectations for the five star service. They need to smile more :) no one expects to see grumpy staff on their summer holiday! Other than that great overall experience!

Review 16：The location! Breakfast varieties - huge selection of food at great quality. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, always smiling and willing to meet all your needs. Cleanliness of the room and the hotel area as a whole. The bed and towels changed daily. Big spacious rooms with huge balcony and gorgeous sea view. The beach was few minutes from the hotel- reserved sunbeds and clean sand. There is a huge pool area and sun beds in front of the hotel with various entertainments for children and sports clubs for adults.

Review 17：The bath had a shower directly on the floor, with plastic curtains that looked quite dirty. I never seen plastic curtains in a 5 star hotel. I had to ask specifically for cleaning and soap, after 5 nights (we stayed for 7 nights). Even then, they didn't do everything I asked. I had to leave the kitchen garbage door open, or they would never take out the kitchen garbage. This was important for us as we have a baby and have diapers, tissues, etc. They would never do dishes. I stayed in 4 stars hotels with coffee facilities and they would always take the dirty cups and glasses and replace them with clean ones. The balcony door had no mosquito cover. Thankfully, there were no mosquitos. You could only get 1 set of pool towels per day; if they would get wet, you couldn't change them. The mattresses for the pool were old and dirty - and extra charge. The music was very loud until 12pm, coming from at least two sources.

Review 18：The hotel is quite close to the beach. I liked the pool and the animation for children. Food was pretty good. A lot of kids; our son enjoyed socializing. Managers very friendly and helpful.

Review 23：Definitely not a 5* hotel. - During two days nobody came to clean the room. Simply unacceptable!!! - It didn't have the small things (e.g slippers, shoe polish...), so not even 4* levels and they say 4 - Decent breakfast, but a bit on the cheap side I'd say - they didn't had normal coffee at breakfast, it was just instant coffee - yeeeach. Need to by a decent cappucino from the reception lobby - The was a strange smell (like old thing or something) in the room - the bed sheets although clean, looked a bit old - Air conditioning not working on heating mode (we were there in June and was a bit chilly) - the internet signal stregth is quite bad, but the good thing is that you also have t across Albena, not just inside the hotel - It takes 30 min for tem to get you the internet credentials - Since it was midnight when we checked in, I tried to call the reception to get the internet credentials and was surprised to not find anywhere the reception number. Of course it wasn't 0 or something, it was a stupid combination like *777 that I found it by getting at the reception in person We got a starndard room (although on booking.com there was no option for a superior room) and that seem to have been the culprit. This room was at the first level, with not much of a view.

Review 24：- Room is spacious and has a decent anount of amneties (fridge, heater, plates...) that probably makes it very pragmatic when you are there with kids - 2 bathrooms and 2 showers. That's awesome for fammilies - Nice beach that made the chairs and umbrealla available for free for hotel guests - Nice swiming pool, kids will love that. A bit small though I assume when the hotel if full. In June that wasn't a problem - if is availabale and you choose the superior room type (probably upper levels and with carpet on the floor) maybe the experience will be slightly better

Review 27：The hotel is great! A wide range of tasty food for both breakfast and dinner was provided. Our kids enjoyed the pools and the tennis court. The staff was helpful whenever we needed it (e.g. they couldn't find our reservation in their system and they did their best to solve this problem quickly) and there were no hidden costs. Albena is a nice resort to vist in June - it is not too crowded.

Review 55：I did not like that there is no open air showers in the pool area, the quality of some clients but this is not the hotel's fault. The hotel itself needs some renovation, it is used because of masive tourism, still the service is good and the facilities of the room (deluxe studio) excellent. It is a crowded resort, Albena, full of children, it is not a suitable destination for those looking for peace and relaxation.

Review 56：I liked the big room with all the facilities, the staff, the quality of products from restaurants. The pools area is big enough and the bathrooms are big and very well equipped.

Review 57：- Apart from the breakfast, there was no drink (not even plain water) available without additional charge. For example, with the dinner included in the accommodation price, if you wanted to drink a glass of water you had to order it and pay for it separately.

Review 58：+ First and foremost - the rooms. We stayed inside a Deluxe Studio (but all the room types are almost the same, the difference is in the floor level and additional services (+ Regular Studio has no carpet on the floor)) and each room is in itself a small one-room apartment, really. You have a big bathroom, a separate service toilet, microwave oven, electric stove + air suction, separate refrigerator (additionally from the minibar freezer), dish washing sink - all in all a small kitchen with anything you needed. Also enough space in the room to feel at large an comfortably, and the balcony is wide and fitted with all there is needed. + The view from the room (7'th Floor) was very nice. + The food was very good. + The staff was nice and accommodating. + Parking included in the ticket + Sunbeds at the pool and at the beach included in price.

Review 121：The staff at the reception was not helpful at all. There was a leakage at the bathroom from the bathtub and we notified the reception asking for the problem to be fixed, they wrote it down in a notebook but nothing was done, we repeated our request the next day but once again no action was taken so for the five days of our stay we had to dry the floor after each shower we took. We also said about the problem to the cleaning lady but she did not react either, it seemed nobody cared about our comfort! This of course is unacceptable especially in a five star hotel! Another outrageous thing was that the fitness was paid and each time we wanted to have a workout we had to pay 4 euro per person per hour! The hotel has a spa area but it is not a spa hotel as it is full with families with kids and therefore it gets quite noisy. The water in the swimming pools – outdoor and indoor- was very cold! The outdoor swimming pool does not have an area where only adults could swim as it is quite shallow and kids are playing everywhere. All in all, the hotel does not meet the requirements of a five star hotel, it needs renovation and the staff needs to be better trained.

Review 127：I specifically booked a room with carpet because I traveled with an 1 year child, but I got a tiled room with a smelly bathroom, you could hear all the noises from adjacent rooms. For a 5 star hotel could not command a la carte dinner menu and the restaurant closes at 9.30 PM. The other room luxury studio was far from 5 stars, with the same smell in the bathroom, no shower or bathtub, only a "shower" which spread on the tiles in the bathroom.

Review 133：This hotel is advertised to be 5 stars, but it is far away from such rank. Perhaps compared to the hotels in this country it is one of the best. But the facilities and the professionalism are far away from the 5-star level: very narrow and badly equipped fitness hall, the sauna did not have the proper temperature range 3 or 5 times we visited it etc. other details were not polished so one will felt at 5 star hotel. Surprisingly there was not a good restaurant in this hotel offering a la carte diner or lunch. Both restaurants were serving only the all inclusive customers and offered buffet diners. So the value for money was really fair. However, overall we were satisfied because we were sure the other hotels in Albena would not be so well furnished and equipped.

Review 136：The only hotel at Bugarian sea side that can offer close to five star services! Big rooms, well equipped kitchen box, dining table, fridge, sofa and table, central air conditioning, balcony with chairs, big bathroom, gests toilet and so on! Rooms are clean and service is very good but the final touch is missing to achieve exelent five star level! This is by the way very difficult target for a seasonal hotel.
