Review 1：Me and my girlfriend are traveling in Brazil for 18 days. Booking has been a complete blessing, especially booking last minute places. I thought we'd spoil ourselves with a high quality resort for a few days during our time here and thus I booked Itacare Eco Resort. But there were some serious issues for a place that cost €200 per night. We tried to resolve the issues while staying there, but no one spoke English and our Portugese isn't very good so I couldn't get a refund. There were bugs in and under our bed, in the bath robes, the towels, their carcasses and larvae scattered throughout,, plus some other fairly nasty bits. Ants everywhere, mold in the bathroom and the air conditioning dripped all over one of the beds creating a nearly unbearable smell. We arrived too late to switch rooms and we were too tired and believed the entire resort must be like this... We've stayed at places 1/4th the price and they were superb so this experience made no sense. Also the food was far below what we were expecting for the price. Hostels in Brazil for far less were better with the meals.

Review 10：-I expect staff in such a Hotel to speak English (at least basics) and try to ask back questions in case they did not understand properly. Then misunderstandings such as how I want my meat ( a punto or mal passada) would not occur every evening....

Review 13：The location is great, near the city but still outside it. It's INSIDE Atlantica Forest, integrated with nature, which is important and the resort is small but delightful exactly because of it. They have a beach inside the hotel with a pool looking at the sea and a goos restaurant in this beach. Food is great, a very good breakfast with a delicious "tapioca" ( a regional and typical food).
