Review 1：Everything is perfect here. Ian and his sister were the best hosts possible. I travel constantly and I hope for ecmxcellent accommodations and the exceeded expectations.

Review 2：I love this place! We arrived for our Honey Moon from Australia. It a family owned hostel with the parents and son and daughter who run the hotel. They all speak perfect English which was great. When we arrived we were instantly welcomed by one of the owners Joanna. She was absolutely amazing and friendly. We needed assistance to find the an international ATM, and she went out of her way to drive us there, as it was pretty difficult to get there on a map. Every morning there is an outstanding brekky and at about 6pm pies and cakes homemade by Joanna. The room was great and clean! I would highly recommend staying here. We loved it and would definitely come back.

Review 3：Everything is perfect over there, I would say that you can have a clue about how is living in Trancoso, without lose your comfort, but for the decoration, the details, the people, the food. You can ask for some ''tapiocas'' during the breakfast and the location is excellent.

Review 10：The pousada is situated on the edge of the nice colonial part of Trancoso leading to the Quadrado, and the grittier, newer part of town which wasn't such a negative for us as we like to explore all facets of life wherever we travel.

Review 11：What an amazing place to stay for a holiday! The first pousada to be founded in Trancoso about 28 years ago by a couple whose grown children (Joanna and Ian) now virtually run the place. From the amazing breakfast buffet to the daily "tea" cake buffet in the late afternoon, we felt pampered and cared for like nowhere we've ever stayed, not even the Four Seasons Hotel! We had deluxe rooms at a very reasonable rate compared to the pousadas located directly on the beaches nearby. We were in walking distance to the Quadrado, but had our own rental car with secured parking to get to the more beautiful, wild and remote beaches. This pousada offers the true Brazilian hospitality, comfort and charm with delicious food to boot!

Review 12：A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.
