Review 1：It's rather run down but clean and the bed was comfortable
Review 2：Location and value were what I was looking for. Convenient to Surrey Center shopping center and sky train to downtown Vancouver. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and sitting room and separate bedroom.
Review 3：The rooms were not clean, appliances old and broken. Unfriendly Staff. critters crawling all over. Sheets, bedding did not appear clean, had stains. Finally, noise and problems with guests staying in motel. safety Issues.

Review 7：The clerk was rude when I talked to him on the room phone with a question. There was a coffee maker but no coffee or filters. Apparently that required the 10 dollar per day upgrade.

Review 9：The room was very noisy. Could not switch on the A/C unit as it was so loud. As was the A/C in the next room. Workers or cleaners were working in the next room making a terrible racket.
Review 10：air conditioner was broken. The toilet ran. The shower did not drain properly. The door did not have a deadbolt, very insecure. Cigarette burn marks on the furniture, and I am pretty sure they rent rooms by the hour if the girls I saw downstairs are any indication.

Review 12：I did'nt like that they gave us a room different then the one we were expecting, just a basic one without the little kitchen and its utensils, and when we complained about it they said that we should'nt had rely on pictures.

Review 27：The manager stormed into my room, while i was changing, because i wouldnt answer the door and i was telling him just to hold on a second. Then told me i had to leave cause i only paid for one night. When i told him he was wrong and that i had paid for 2 nights, he just said oh ok, im going back to the office. Overall, i really should have complained about it, because i was changing, lucky as soon as he opened the door, i had finished. But i find its very disrespectful to just barge into someones room while they are changing. Tell your manager to learn how to be patient. I won't be coming back.

Review 29：Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Room not labeled nonsmoking while others were. When questioned about smell and lack of door tag, they assured me it was nonsnokinh and said they can't be responsible for what visitors do. Will not book at this hotel again.

Review 31：We booked a suite due to travelling with small children and none of the appliances worked.there was only 2 pillows for 4 peoples and when we asked for more pillows I got the rudest reply from the owner saying that all your getting.

Review 33：No coffee pot or coffee Air conditioner that didnt sound like an airplane flying over us It was horrible, called front desk but he couldnt help us.. We had sweat running off of us because the noise was unbearble/ It was as old as the beginning of time and not working properly... Would have been better if not placed int he window at all.......Also real hanging basket flowers would have been an appealing start to our stay. That is the kind of thing that says hey we are here but not willing to make the effort of fresh flowers .. Once again coffee or tea would have been a nice thing to wake up too. A 15.00 dollar coffee pot a and some coffee is always a nice way to way to wake up. Think about that... Without the air conditioner working we had our own sauna. 34 degrees this was not desirable.

Review 35：Facility bedroom is beside outside aisle, too noise to sleep when people walk by. Feeling someone walking around your bed. Air condition didn't work. Room temp was same as outside.

Review 37：A couple stays in the past I had noise problems with adjoining rooms but they seem to have solved that problem, fewer party people being allowed to rent rooms.
Review 38：The staff is always great, every time! ! A very good value for your money. Rooms are reasonably modern, clean, usually no noise problems, great location in Surrey. Dairy Queen next door, McDonalds, nearby, also shopping and other restaurants close by. Other motels do not deliver this for such a low price !!
Review 39：Staff were not very friendly. The ice room is locked by 9 PM. I had to drive to supermarket to get ice because the front desk person refused to open the door so I could get ice. Poor attitude towards guests.

Review 41：We chosed not to stay overnight and we only stayed a few hours and we were asking if we could have a little discounts. Although they gave us 2 hrs. ahead of check in times but still we thought we could gave us a little favor. But it was excellent.

Review 62：The room was musty. Amenities almost non-existent. One washcloth for three people. Two tiny pillows per bed. A coffee maker, but no coffee. Three of each silverware, but only one small soap and shampoo for three guests. Tiny TV; no channel guide. Noisy neighbors with thin walls. Steep stairs to our second floor room. No elevator. With a little TLC and sense of hospitality, this could be a very nice, affordable motel. As it is, we would not return.

Review 64：We stayed here on our to Victoria and found it to be a pleasant surprise. Clean, spacious, good WiFi. The location was good for visiting friends in Surrey and Vancouver. My husband said the rollout bed was hard on his back but my daughter and I had a comfortable sleep on the queen bed. Overall a good experience. Would definitely stay again!
Review 65：Drunk people next door (at least 4) totally ruined the experience. The air conditioner was dirty and loud. The shower was broken. Checked out early and moved to another hotel.

Review 71：The only thing missing was coffee in the am. I had to walk to Tim Hortons (one and a half blocks) for my husband's coffee and was followed the one morning by some guy - kinda creepy.
Review 72：This was a very affordable, comfortable motel. We were looking for something closer to downtown but with the train station only blocks away, this was perfect for traveling pretty much anywhere in the Vancouver area. The price was half of anywhere else and the property was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Review 75：Air Conditioner worked but had a melted face cover. Kitchen was not equipped with anything but 2 bowls, not even plastic cups we offered. Missing handle bolts, broken and loose counters. All fixtures and furnishings have seen their day. Cleaners were late getting room ready and left behind a rather a large spider on the ceiling. Updates, and 40 year old cabinets and bureau's not very appealing. Tiles at the tub missing grout and turning black with Mould, tub had stains from bath matts from days gone by, in need of a lot of cosmetics and updates

No attempt was made to remedy the situation when confronted with the unkempt room. If you choose to stay there, don't tell them how unkempt your room is, otherwise, the only answer you'll get is "what do you want me to do about it "

Review 89：There was no coffee available in the morning in the room even when there was a coffee maker, which to me is a fundamental thing. The office told us they don't provide it for all the rooms and told us to go down the street for coffee. Seems like an easy thing to provide to a customer who asks for it, even if you don't give it to everyone. Made the hotel seem very stingy. They also only had enough towels and bathroom items for 2 people, even though they knew we had 3 people in our group. Lack of attention to little details...it's the details that bring people back.
Review 90：I liked the suite with the kitchenette and separated room. Felt like a mini apartment and was relaxing and comfortable. TV was nice with lots of channels. Expected to hear lots of noise due to the floors outside being wood and pounding of people walking, but never heard anything. No noise all night long.

Review 93：For s self contained motel very little worked. It was like a comedy from Faulty Towers. First we turned on the cold tap to get a glass of water, the tap head came off in my hands and I could not turn it off. Then the sink began to flood. Called girl in reception and was told as it was Sunday could not get a plumber until Monday, After about 10 min I managed to turn it off, Had to use water in hand basin tap. No other room was available as other units full. No jug to boil water for tea coffee.Coffee maker did not work, No hot water in unit. Told to wait for plumber it was broken. Microwave did not work. Checked power point where fridge was working in case power point to microwave was not working, Went to heat water on stove and cook dinner Only one element out of four worked on stove. No sauce pans or plates. We had to eat out of frypan. Staff were contacted and were polite but were told there was no replacement items available. Wifi did not work in room. Needed yo use wifi at reception. No towels or soap in room. Needed to ask reception and it was provided. Front door would not lock properly, so put on safety chain. But wait there is more I could say, but that is enough. Owner did want to spend money on fixing things.

Review 98：small and smelly room, other guests were smoking in the rooms, and there were a lot of "not nice" people. outside the city, there are a lot of other motels in the same street apparently cheaper and much more better. not even towels in the room, overpriced for this. and the price wasn't the one on booking, but increased of 10$ there (plus taxes)
Review 99：The front desk man check out day wasn't pleasent. He called the room at 11:15 am and said we needed to come pay for another day immediately. I had to explain we were allowed a late check out. He didn't sound pleased. He was not friendly.

She also gave us a late check out time, and told us we could leave our vehicle in the parking lot after check out the following day, so we could take the sky train into the city.
