This holiday park offers cottages in spacious grounds which include a tropical swimming pool with slides, a wellness area and 2 restaurants. Sunparks is 0.9 miles from the sandy beach and North Sea. It offers free WiFi in the park center.
There is a coast tram stop 15 minutes’ walk from the park which offers direct links to attractions along the coast including Plopsaland. Sunparks Oostduinkerke is less than a 30-minute drive from Ostend.
Oostduinkerke Sunparks includes bicycle rental, squash facilities and outdoor mini golf. The grounds also feature tennis courts and a bowling alley. Pets are welcome in this holiday park.

Review 1：Muffy bungalow smell (We told the staff to vent the bungalow for a period of time prior to guest arrival) No Internet in the bungalows only the front reception area (Which can be a positive for some)

Review 2：Large bungalow with fencing and privacy. Lots of in/out doors accommodations for families, young and old. Indoors Aquafun swimming area with great slides. Close to the Beach Plopsaland, Seaworld etc...

Review 3：The only thing I didn't like was waiting until 15:00 to go to the accommodation. Everything else was excellent.

Review 4：Easy to find. Check in was ok. Ate lunch while we waited for 15:00 and had kids many as adult menu didn't have Frikandel.

Review 5：We asked if we could have a late checked out at 6pm. After 3 visits toreception we were told they were happy to do that but it would costalmost what we had paid for 2 days! Needless to say we declined.

Review 7：This place is very very run down and needs a major facelift and renovations. It looks like it hasn't been maintained for the past 10+ years. Our chalet smelled musty and had very poor lighting. It served our purpose for 2 nights, but I'm glad we only paid 90€. I would never go there for a week's vacation. Plenty of other much better holiday parks to choose from.

Review 8：The Aqua pool and slides were fun for our 13 & 14 year old kids

Review 9：There is no oven, the single beds don't push together very well leaving a gap. We got cleaning cloth's but no dish washing liquid (pointless really!!)

Review 10：Nice little house with comfy beds, the double is just two single beds pushed somewhat together. Your given sheets and towels at reception. There is basic cooking facilities and cleaning cloth's. House is slightly dated but clean comfortable and warm.

Review 11：Beds were filthy and smelt. Pillows were like a dirty sack of rags. No mattress covers. The whole place looks like it had no maintenance for 20 years. Kitchen equip was very basic. Price was very expensive. 10 minute walk from shop / reception / pool from our chalet.

Review 12：Handy place to get to from Calais Eurotunnel terminal, just 1 hr. Close to some lovely beaches and the very nice resort of Niewepoort. Pool was fun although similarly dated to the rest of the camp and we saw we could have come in for 3 euros per day and stayed somewhere clean and comfortable.

Review 13：We requested for bedsheets. And staff mentioned that it's includes/provided. But there were none in the room. This was quite difficult to manage without sheets/towels. There were lots of spider nets around door and patio. Bed was not so clean, understandably due to missing bed sheets.

Review 14：They had a fireplace..and the interior design was also fine. Also the water theme park was a highlight.

Review 15：The house that we stayed in had no bed linen the sofa had steel arms with no cushions, the house was dirty with old bed linen and the sofa cushions in bin bags in the front garden, we were also next to the bin area, it stank to high heaven. The house had a staircase that would have been illegal in the UK, my 4 year old son slipped and as there was no hand rail to hold onto fractured his elbow in 2 places, we asked to move and was told that there was no chance. The staff were not helpful at all and looked like they didn't want to be there. They blamed booking.com for over booking with too many Germans, our welcome pack was also in German, they didn't have a spare one in English. The play area at the complex was like a jungle jims, with climbing and play area for the kids, the tables that you sat to watch your kids play were full of glasses, food and hadn't been cleaned, you had to clean your own table before you could sit down, not enough staff to do it. All in all we were sold a pup by booking.com. The place is a dive

Review 17：Lousy wifi, we were counting on decent access as this was stated in your brochure. We have an autistic son who was very disappointed.

Review 18：Loved the Location and layout of premises. The tram stop was near which allowed us to visit Ostend and their lovely art museum without having to use the car.

Review 19：soft mattresses, very very squeaky stairs made it impossible to use the toilet in the night as that would wake everyone up! The Place stunk of smoke, i was told it was it was no smoking rooms, so why did our room have an ash tray??? Neighbours noisy till 1am, we were told it's quiet after 10pm, that did not happen!!!

Review 25：The pictures of place look far better than reality. It was very cold in the cottage and the heating took about 4 hours to raise from 17 to 21C and that was it, it would not go up any more even thought we kept pressing 24C. There was no cutting board which I suppose basic kitchen equipment. Booking said internet in all areas...not true. Internet was only by reception and restaurant, not in the cottage.

Review 26：I liked that we got tickets for swimming pool free. The swimming pool was excelent and we enjoyed it very much.

Review 27：Accommodation is basic but acceptable for an overnight stay - though for washing up after our breakfast a small quantity of washing up liquid would have been helpful (sponges & cloths are provided but that's all). Unfortunately in our cottage there also seemed to be a lingering smell of cigarette smoke especially in the parents' bedroom (though "no smoking" signs are very visible).

Review 28：The complex is close enough to the beach to be able to walk directly there in 15 minutes though the 1 hour walk through the nature reserve & dunes Ter Ide to the sea was even more lovely. It's also great that entrance to the swimming center is included in the overnight price.

Review 29：The whole complex looks rather tired and worn out. The accommodation itself is in need of a little smartening up but is otherwise fine. The complex as a whole needs some serious all-round maintenance. Many of the facilities (beach volleyball, outside play area and both of the mini-golf courses, for example) are in a very poor state.

Review 30：This is a pleasant location and there are very reasonable facilities in the Basic package. The Aquafun facility is excellent, well maintained and highly suitable for young children. The indoor play area is also good for younger children.

Review 54：We booked a sunpark chalet as a 1 night stop over. The chalet was very basic, there was a welcome pack of a cleaning cloth to clean the unit however, there was not even a basic towel or soap to wash your hands. We were told if we wanted the use of a towel it would cost 3.75 euro each and if we wanted the use of sheets it would cost 7.75 euro each The staircase in the unit was very steep and hard to go up and down. The cleanliness was very superficial. The bedroom smelt of urine as did the loo, there were blood stains on the sofa. We found the general attitude to be very money grabbing

Review 55：Wheel under the bed was broken and we had to report it ourselves to be sure it was not put on our account. Bar food is not very good, personal is young and not very mature to handle the more uncommon questions. Television is outdated (we didn't mind), no internet ( yes, i am an addict, 3g was available so... :) ). No airco, noisy, i am not sure what, seems to be part of the ventilation system.

Review 56：The location, property size, garden, benches, all made is very pleasant to stay. The pool complex is fabulous especially for small kids, warm water, the open glider, pools outside, water temperature. Near the coast, so plenty to do.

Review 57：The window in the children's room or either upstairs room. Both opened fully with no way to lock closed or put on a vent. The staircase was a bit precarious open and spiralled. (However there was the opportunity to hire stairgate)

Review 58：We liked the pool and we were lucky as not too busy. Outside areas were well kept, grass being cut whilst we were there. We were lucky in the location of our 'cottage' lots of space for children to run around safely.

Review 78：Searched for what I thought to be a 3 bed property and on arrival found was 2 bed with sleeping platform over kitchen. Booking was a mess, despite booking for Oostduinkerke, booking.com had booked us into another park 2.5 hours away, somewhat stressful for us on arrival. We had to wait whist the receptionist, who looked very worried, made calls to booking.com.

Review 79：Loungers by the pool occupied by towels with no room for people. Checkout at 10:00 is too early, one hour later would have been perfect.Limited sport facilities - just one tennis table, tennis court andsquash court for the whole park.

Review 80：You can use the leisure pool (which is nice and warm) before checking inand after checking out. The staff at reception really friendly andhelpful. Kids loved the indoor play area.
